First, because it needs to be said, AMC is so bad and so boring that this is the first post on this board in 11 days. I know that some Daytime HWs mistakenly believe that it's ok to shock and anger fans because at least they're talking about the show, but what does it say when no one is talking about AMC?? So.not.good.Second, the character of Greenlee was ruined (and I mean, stick a fork in her, she's done) when Greenlee kidnapped Spike and drove off a cliff, only to want instant forgiveness and a chance to explain. Didn't matter to me that Sabine Singh was clearly not comfortable as Greenlee and looked like a total stranger to me. The writing from Brown and Esensten went about 17 miles beyond "too far" and then tried to reverse course by making Kendall the villain in a revenge story. Nope, didn't work. They had Kendall have grief sex with Aidan as a way to get us to turn on her. Nope, didn't work. They had Greenlee and Zach become BFFs in a hole, and it still didn't make me like or forgive Greenlee. So now, with RB back in the role, a new set of HWs took Greenlee too far, and now they want to reverse it. Nope, not gonna work. I don't want to see Rylee and their great love, and comparing them to a very popular couple like Zendall ain't gonna work, either. Deleting any reference to Greenlee's past sins won't work. I often don't agree with SOW's editorial POV about AMC, but I'll agree with one point: Greenlee is ruined beyond redemption.Ya know what would work for me? Getting her away from Ryan and Kendall. Moving her on to a new story, new career, new man, new everything, since I highly doubt RB is going anywhere. At least if I'm not reminded of the seemingly endless parade of bad deeds she's done and I don't have to watch the people she's hurt the most hug her like she's a precious gem, I can tolerate her. But like her or root for her? No way in hell.

Gator, great post...Isn't it sad that the only thing being said about AMC is how boring & bad it is...Fans are becoming more & more apathetic towards the show & that is not good....ITA that GL was completely ruined when she kidnapped Spike, caused him to be deaf, caused Ian to be born too early and was then painted the victim of her victims....GL was, is, and always will be a second rate character too me... She's the nasty little side kick, but they continue to attempt to paint her as the heroine/victim...who never pays for her crimes...and it makes her even more sickening to watch...David is evil.... and VI played him well.....He also gave David a heart at times, which made us love to hate him, but this crap that it's all David's fault is BS...They painted the vile green gnat into a corner and instead of having her take responsiblity & pay for her crimes, it's all David's fault....just like with her last return and it's failing again...I would love nothing more than to see Kendall freed of the gruesome twosome and have them all move on.....Give GL a story where she does what she does best... play the nasty, viscious witch with no heart, soul, or feelings...... End the toxic fake, forced friendship btw Kendall & Rylee... It never made sense and it ruins all the characters involved....Rylee is nothing more than a toxic, abusive, obsession & it's very disturbing that TPTB continue to call that mess romantic & "REAL" love.... OMG.... I feel for Frons wife...People are angry, even GL fans are ticked that this isn't the GL they know... We know what we saw play out and she was not David's victim.... She used David, then tossed him aside the minute she saw Ryass using Maddie......AMC is on it's last leg and this isn't helping...

I totally agree with both of you. Unfortunatley, until RB decides to try for greener (no pun intended!) pastures again, I fear it will be more of the same. The show cannot continue to force Rylee as leads- it just doesn't work no matter who is writing the show.The other thing that is getting to me is how Angie's s/l is sounding like a PSA more & more every day. Hearing facts about her blindness & high risk pregnancy is not a storyline. I feel like throwing something @ the tv everyone the PSA starts. Agnes Nixon knew how to write a social issue s/l making it compelling & must- see tv. This is not.It is a sad state of affairs @ AMC right now & noone seems to be able to steer it in the right direction. The ratings reflect that. I don't know how much longer fans can expect to hang on waiting for better days.
