Vincent Irrizary is returning to AMC in the role of Dr. David Hayward.
This should be good. I love Vincent and absolutely love to hate David.

I have always wanted VI back and am very happy about this news. But not to be the skunk at the garden party, it just makes me very sad that we have to lose characters we love such as Josh, who was hardly ever utilized properly, yet we can still constantly add new charaters to the canvas. I know he is recurring and I guess there is still hope he will be back. That said, I'm really glad Dr. Dave is returning.Just wonder if David is returning, can Dixie be far behind? Just a thought.

Hopefully with the return of David we can have a storyline we care about again. David is so good at being so bad. Ihave to say though I really didn't care for his character on Y&R, it was a waste of his talent.
I look forward to David's return, it should be very interesting as long as he's used!
If MCE is going to stay on as Annie, I say pairing her with Dr. Dave would be such a great move. Annie's scheming, manipulative and more than slightly nutty side would mesh well with David Hayward's dastardly genius. Oh the possibilities! It's a pairing that makes sense. Keep Zendall working through their issues and make them once again (or perhaps for the first time) a truly happy and mostly angst free couple, put Ryan (if we absolutely have to keep him) back with the small Green one, ship off Aidan to somewhere, and keep working on Jesse/Angie. There you go, AMC...couples that make sense and won't drive away viewers by constantly trying to "reshuffle" them. What a concept.
