Am I the only one who has had enough of David Hayward? In the short time he's been back, we are to believe that he removed Joe Martin as hospital Chief of Staff with absolutely no input from the Board. He has gotten Krystal hooked on his illegally manufactured drugs and convinced her that he's the only person she can rely upon; paid Amanda half a million dollars to get JR to take a drink; fired Jake Martin from staff; had Angie arrested and fired her from staff . . .and on and on and on. How can that idiot Pratt think that we'd buy all this improbable garbage? And how do TPTB keep allowing him to write such drivel? That no one in authority has even questioned David's actions is beyond belief. I have watched AMC since the beginning and it pains me to say that I've just about had enough. This show has become a runaway train. Unless something is done soon to put the show back on the track, I'm getting off at the next station.
Here I am on my David Hayward soapbox again (or still!). We know he's a world-reknowned cardiac surgeon, but totally without a hint of ethics. He performed a heart transplant to save Kendall and then told Erica she "owes him" and he'll call in his marker later. WHAT?!?!? Does he think he's the Godfather? I do this for you and one day I will call on you for a favor . . . God, I am sick of this character. It is so completely unrealistic that he could be allowed to intimidate the entire hospital (not to mention half of Pine Valley) without anyone in authority taking notice. In real life, he'd be up to his a$$ in lawsuits. How long do we have to watch him trample over the entire town before he is held accountable for his evil?
I have been a faithful watcher and am just getting sick of the convoluted storyline of David and Krystal! Give me a break, I CAN NOT believe they would write her to be as stupid as to be believing in David after knowing his history and not be questioning him more. Ya want to separate her and Tad that's fine (I wasn't sure I really liked them married anyway) but to have her leave Tad for David OMG! What are they thinking. And now to have Kendall wake from her coma and just as quick as her eyes open she is out for Reese's throat! Come on people we aren't stupid and I resent them writing as if we were. The Binks and Reese thing isn't working, Reese by herself is much better. First plan of action...get rid of DAVID NOW and then Reese...(Zac loves Kendall way too much to get involved with Reese NO MATTER WHAT!) Whew, I feel better now that I have ranted!
I don't mind David, but does he have to be the only villian in town? Let's get Adam in on some of the action. Where's the scheming vixen?
