I had to chuckle the other day when Marina threatened to ground Daisy for drinking seeing as though Daisy should be chronologically about seven years older than Marina! As I recall, Daisy was born in 1987 and should be at least 22. (Hell she should be in her 30's the way soaps age kids). Marina was born sometime in the mid-90's I think. Sad to say this, but its constant continuity problems such as this that is one of the many factors that has led to the unfortunate cancellation of our beloved GL.

you are so right!! All soaps age their younger characters but usually remember the correct order. I have watched GL for almost 40 years since I was a kid. my mom watched all the CBS soaps from Love of Life to Secret Storm and all in between.. GL really lost its way several years ago when they got rid of Ross, Phillip, Holly, Michelle, Danny, etc. Even before that actually. They continually killed off characters that should have been at least sent off canvas for a while instead of killed off. Maureen, Nadine, Jenna and the final straw Gus. Thje new format was the final nail in the coffin. Soaps are supposed to make us think we are living thru someone elses life not the reality we can see every day down the street. Just awful. Anyway, I still remember the old characters and thru youtube can see some of the old episodes. RIP GL.
