Did anyone else think that it was kinda creepy that Tucker would have Abby sex tape bookmarked on his PHONE? And then whipped it out to show Ashley? I mean you're sleeping with the girl's mom and you have a sex tape of her child on YOUR phone? Gee what does Tuck do during his free time? And what brought this to his attn?Ususally adults and the younger set don't visit the same websites...or was it something about the Naked Heiress that caught his attn? Was he looking for something to blackmail someone with? And how did Ash not know about the tape? It didn't take all that long for Villy's tape to get out, and for everyone to see it, so how'd she miss this?Still kinda creepy ....

Yeah I felt that was odd creepy, wierd. disgusting , you name it..But in all of characters on the show, I am so damn tired of Victor throwing his weight around being doctor, DA, police and what have you. He has done extremely bad things in the past and has never been held accountable for.....but everyone else has to. Come on writers PLEASE make Victor accountable for something. I fast foward when he is on, is arrogance makes me gag.

YOU obviously did not get THE memo... it is no longer called the YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS.. it is now The ERIC BRAEDEN/VICTOR NEWMAN hour. This show has become such a major joke. An embarrasment to the fine people who created it. Say what you will about dry spells and yadda yadda yadda.. this show has lost numerous viewers and is only a matter of time before CBS decides its a money pit. Lets just see if Lauralee Bell can help in bringing some ratings and revenue back to this show. That IS why she was BEGGED repeatedly to return ya know...WHY would she return after many years of refusing?hmmmmmmmm?

Sorry I once again am the one to disagree. Maybe i don't like EVERYTHING the writers are doing, I do agree there, but I do like Victor and it would be out of character for him to start cowtowing to people. He owns a conglomerate and knows alot of powerful people and this IS a soap, and I love Eric B. so sorry, I disagree....for the most part. But we can agree to disagree!

WE can ALWAYS agree to disagree. I have once liked TGVN as well, but am tired of the WHOLE show being ABOUT him, and everyone else always losing TO him. I personally feel its time to bring him down a notch... then he can fight to get back up. THATS when he is always at his best......When he always comes out on top, he becomes BOOOORING.......but when he is knocked back a few steps, then he comes out.....
I'm with you. Victor is a totally integral part of this show. Even with all his billions, I think he will always be a work in progress because of his anger about the orphanage so many years ago and other issues he has with that. He has shown that he is capable of great kindness, love and generosity many times. Eric B. is awesome -- has been since day one.

I agree in that Victor And Eric ARE integral parts of the show.. but sadly each are just spokes on the wheel that make the show operate successfully. Katherine is also an integral part, as are EACH person on hand ( in front of and behind the camera) It just isnt fair to make the show HIS. While he has always brought that key integral part to the show, tis not his show alone to operate. For the higher ups to always over play and over shadow other key people, to showcase all he is, well, its just not right, and thats the key thing that has always stuck with me when I say its the Eric Braeden hour. He has obtained too much power, albeit most of it well earned, but still.....I digress.....
This reminds me of the letters SOD used to get (in the days before the internet) regarding Guiding Light - which had become the Reva Shane angst hour. It's like the writers then (and now) forget that there are other interesting stories to tell that do not involve their personal favorites, or the Vet who has been there the longest.
Love me my Victor, even though he is a complete arrogant [censored], but that being said Katherine, Jack are all examples of what makes this show progress. GIVE ME MORE MURPHY, I LOVE HIM

of course the writers don't want to do anything to tarnish Saint Ashley. She sleeps with Tucker while seeing Neil but of course Neil breaks it off so she doesn't have to come clean. If this had been Jill or Gloria they would have been publicly humiliated. This time Tucker comes to shield Saint Ashley from her trashy daughter.
