Could it be true?! Kate is going bye-bye?!?! Did someone actually listen to us?!
I am curious as to why Alicia Leigh Willis (ex-Courtney/aka Ninja Cheerleader) is on the cover though. No place out here has SoD and SoW until tomorrow. ~Cry~
Best news I've had today (although its still early). Yay, Kate is leaving.
Although I have to admit that I love the office scenes with Kate, Lulu, and Maxey. I guess I'll miss that part if she leaves
With her being off contract, she won't be totally gone. But there seems to be no reason to keep her around except to keep the Crimson office running and giving Maxie and Lulu a job. What else could the two of them do for a living?
They could always for Spinelli and Sam's new PI business
Both Megan Ward and Rick Hearst (Kate and Ric) have been takien off contract. Kate, I wont miss too much and I haven't been liking Ric much lately. Blackmailing someone to sleep with you? How pathetic. But I'm sure it was just so there could be a Who's the Daddy storyline....Maybe Rick Hearst could go back to GL and play Alan Michael, especially if it doesn't get picked up by another network and truly ends. The more former characters that they could bring back, the better
No, not Rick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .Kate, I could care less about, except that if Helena is not going to take Rebecca and Ethan, maybe she could. And even LULU!
Ahh...so they were just taken of contract. They will still be around sometimes. Can Kate cross over to OLTL, know Todd and get knifed? Ric is a pathetic shell of his former self. Blackmailing for sex? Is he going to chain Claudia up to a wall in a panic room when she gets pregnant? At that point he will have come full circle so it will be time to just off him.
Yea to everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) you just said LadyO
Quote: Yea to everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) you just said LadyO LOL!!! Morning Dest. I really feel dumbed down by Kate and Ric. Hmm.....I'm being punished for something in a past life, right? ~Snicker~
Hey, aren't we all?? If Kate has to be around I wish it would only be to do the scenes at Crimson with Maxey and Lulu and the scenes where Carly and/or Claudia are verbally abusing her
I guess you are right about Ric. He has become pretty pathetic.
I think this would be a great time for a strong GH murder mystery surrounding the death of Ric. Not that I have anything against the actor or character but there are SO many characters that could wish to do Ric in, it COULD be a compelling storyline. As for Kate, this is a character that I never really warmed up to so her departure wouldn't mean much to me one way or the other. Just another female character that was strapped to Sonny. Pointless.
The murder mystery sounds like a plan as long as they don't drag it out for ten months.
You mean like Luis Alcazar? & then when the rest of the characters finally find out, nothing happens to the killer. I love Alexis, but wasn't it ridiculous that Scott couldn't prove it was premeditated murder? She went to his apartment in the middle of the night, stabbed him & pushed him off a balcony. Hello? By the time, that was revealed all fans of Alexis were cringing everytime she came on screen in that butler outfit. If they do a whodunit with Ric, I hope they do it with more maturity than that. But personally, I hope it's Kate who is killed, not Ric.
Not like Alcazar, no.I would prefer a WELL planned murder mystery with several red herrings involved. But I stress, I would like it to be well planned with the conclusion already in mind so that the writers appear to actually know where they are going with the story and what the consequences of the story will be long term for the show.Several key suspects, multiple motivations for wanting the character dead. All of which should make sense. These are the types of on screen stories that former ABC soap, Edge of Night, used to excell in.
Quote:I would prefer a WELL planned murder mystery with several red herrings involved.I think you are hoping for too much. GH and well planned out? That's like asking for the end of all mob stories. It won't happen.
