Sept. 8, 1998: Till Death Do Us Part

After Austin informs Sami about Franco’s affair with Candy on her wedding day, Sami threatens to kill her groom-to-be and storms off to find him. Instead, she finds his lifeless body. Moments before she arrived, he had been shot dead! Rather than having her picture perfect wedding, Sami is carted off in handcuffs, wrongly accused of her fiance’s murder.

June 15, 1999: Date With Death

Despite her innocence and the maneuvers of her family and legal team, the day arrives for Sami to be put to death for Franco’s murder. A tearful Sami says goodbye to her family and then is prepared for the execution. A frantic Lucas races to the prison to confess to the killing but is too late — Sami was already given a lethal injection. Rushed to the hospital, she hovers between life and death after going into cardiac arrest. Ultimately she regains consciousness and learns the DA has dropped the charges against her.

June 6, 2000: Love Bug

Sami found real love with Brandon, while the pair work undercover to infiltrate the mob that frequented a local strip club. They share their first kiss while Sami is practicing playing hooker to Brandon’s pimp. While working together they plan to gather all the information they can about the night of Franco’s murder. The finger is pointed at Lucas for the murder, ensuring Sami would gain sole custody of Will.

Sept. 12, 2000: Deadly Intentions

Kate and Lucas plan to drive Sami crazy by slipping her mind-altering herbs and taunting her with a Will doll. The plan spun dangerously out of control when Sami ended up hallucinating, convulsing, having seizures and collapsing. When Lucas witnesses Sami’s frightening condition, he calls off the plan despite his mother’s objections.
