They should bring Alan Michael back....and not have him hok up with Marina..I thought that was gross. Okay, totally off subject for a second - both Kevin and Jason are Ross' boys. Annie messed with the DNA test results to make it look like Rick fathered one of them (I think Kevin, but I'm not sure because Rick never even mentions the boy now). My memory sucks but Annie was trying to distract one of the three of them at the time (I think Rick because he was her ex - but I could be wrong) and was successful. It was like, a year or so later that they found out that both twins were fathered by Ross. I remember being mad at the time that they took the "seperate fathers" story back, but . . . Rick was CRUSHED and I was totally drawn to his story. But, back to the point, your post got me thinking; I agree with bringing back Shane and think they should bring back Marah too. Didn't Marah and Jeffrey have a thing? Bringing Marah back now that Jeffrey and Reva are getting married would be interesting. I've said this in other posts, but it bears repeating - Phillip, Nick, Abigail, Alan-Michael, "Manny," Ross, and Ed should all be back (but I have certain actors who have to play those parts - Ross is now on OLTL, and Michelle is on One Tree for example).I also would rather see Lucy return (either as the orginal actress or a recast) than have them recast Harley. I hate that Harley left her kids like that, but until Beth Ethers is available to fix it I'd rather let it be.Roxy is a character that hasn't been seen in, like, 20 years who has ties to lots of people (like Rick - oh, I mean Reva's sister, not Lizzie's dog ).Mostly, I'd like to see people that are (supposedly) in town already. I'd like to think that losing "GusH" would mean more airtime for characters already employed by GL like Hollie, Dylan, Vanessa, Matt, and Blake.Or showcase some of the kids on the canvas either with current actors or recasts - Kevin and Jason, Clarissa, Zach and Jude, James, RJ, Maureen, Leah, or bring Rocky back from England already. These kids could be more than props in their parents' stories if they were written better.

Well said!OMG I forgot the one tree hill girl played Michelle. she was one of my two fav Michells. The other is on another soap. She played Michelle when she was blind and during most of the Jessie Blu stuff. (Jessie and Michelle was a story line that I loved!)Your post got me thinking. Your so right I'd love to see Roxy, Michelle, Ed and all the others you mentioned back. But i would want some of the original or most fav actors to return to the roles or not at all. I'd love to see Shane and Marah return and some of the other kids. ( i had no idea about Jeffery and Marah??) I remember when GL was very young there for a while...Philip, Beth, Mindy and Rick all in high school. It was fun watching them grow up.I agree that they have hired actors that they should be utilizing better. I think that it is so stupid to have Daisy running around homeless when her father Dillon is around some where.

I have not liked the "new Daisy" for some time, now, but I really hate her stupid obsession with Grady! It's like she's brain-dead, or something!

Tasigurl - I liked that Michelle too (except the story with the lighthouse angel guy - I could have lived without that), but I had really liked the girl before that (who married MacCully Caulkin), so it took me a long time to warm up to her. I really like her as Greenlee though (is that the right one?). I also thought that the last Michelle was good, but she had such BIG shoes to fill.I really liked Jessie with Drew, he made her human (and didn't have her mom's heart - I liked Michelle and Jessie, but found that kinda wierd).I don't think Jeffrey and Marah were all that serious, (it was the last girl to play Marah, after she and Tony [?-Danny's cousin] broke up for the last time). As I've stated, my memory kinda sucks, but I remember she pursued him for a LONG time before he gave in. I think they only slept together once before she left town (and the show).I LOVED GL during the 4 Muskateers time, that's actually when I started watching. I wouldn't mind stories like that focused around some of the kids we've mentioned as long as it wasn't every single day (taking away from the vets, like soaps are so fond of doing - expecially in the summer).I completely don't understand why Dylan is not being played in this Daisy story. You could not ask for a better time for Daisy and Dylan to bond. Why bring him back if you're not going to mention him AT ALL. They recreated Josh and Reva's wedding, and never mentioned Dylan once! As my sucky memory recalls, he rowed Reva across Cross Creek, but did not know that she was his mom yet. Why wasn't there some kind of scene with Reva and Dylan talking about that?!? RainyFrost - I don't like nuDaisy either, and never have. Personallly, I mean no disrespect to the actress, who I think is wonderful, I just haven't been able to figure this Daisy out (and for me it's the way she's been written). Her history is completely ignored and has been since they hired this actress. I swear (although I can't get an answer out of our mod) that originally Daisy was older than Lizzie. When she first came back with this actress, I thought she was supposed to be older. I thought she was going to be this messed up young adult who was dealing with the deaths of her adopted parents. I thought there would be scenes between her and Beth where Daisy would confront her father's widow about passing Daisy off to Harley after Jim died. (I know - I had really high hopes, but I loved this character back when she was "Susan Lemay") Instead we have this eternal high schooler, who whines and stomps around about nothing. Harley has never been a consistant factor in Daisy's life, but now suddenly she can't function without her mom? I don't understand this story. I can't understand her obsession with Grady, (and if she's back to just graduated high school age that relationship is icky). I just really want Reva to smack some sense in that girl, and have Daisy break down with some logical reason for the last couple of years. Then Dylan can help Daisy heal so they have a father/daughter relationship when Peter comes to town pissed off that everyone in Springfield who are supposed to be connected to him (Dylan, Billy, Vanessa, Matt, Buzz, Blake, all of Hart's women, etc, etc) have completely forgotten him. Just please don't hook him up with Daisy, dating the biological daughter of your one-time step-dad is too icky for my taste. WOW! That kind of got away from me there - sorry.

Daisy's story has been son inconsistant. Didn't she come back as a drug addict. And did she try and pull off being a Virgin or vern in experienced with Rafe. Come on you think Grady only got her addicted to drugs and wasn't having sex with her?? Anyway I still can't get over MIA Dillion? When it comes to her children MIA Harley is par for the course. This show needs a young fab four, Daisy not included. If done right it could bring back old viewers and create new ones.

ah! wow,there are soooo many potential characters that could come back!I didn't realize it,I was just hoping for Shayne..but my goodness there are sooo many kids and kids of Alan and so on to be used...getting Michelle and Danny back would be great even with new actors because it's been so long.

I'm glad you liked it, when I saw how big the post had gotten I was worried about the responses I was going to get.I think that Kevin and Jason, Maureen and Leah could make a great new "Four Musketeers." I'm sure I can get past the SORAS of Leah if her younger/older brother is gone (like Rick would ever let Harley take his kid out of the country - but I digress).I agree with you, Meganab6, and I will try to be happy with Shayne (as long as TPTB don't destroy the character with bad casting/writing). I am seriously hoping he still has his crush on Marina, and makes Marina and Mallet interesting.

Shane Is coming, and I hope he's here to stay. we need some young blood. marina with Malet, to me is nasty. I felt the same when she was with Alan Michael. she seems to be dating the sloppy seconds of her mom and aunt. So sad.Cassies on the way out..so glad! I didn't like what they did with the character as far as the new acctress who played her and the story line.
