The only highlight in all of that is if Jason walked away for good and let Sonny deal with his own mob, then he'd be free and clear to go and sweep Liz off her feet and away from that cry baby Lucky.
Now, that would be something to watch! Jason doing some good old fashioned romancing. He hasn't done anything seriously romantic since he surprised Courtney with their beautiful wedding in France. And Liz could do with some romancing! Love in the afternoon back on GH, with no explosions or babies being kidnapped. Just good old-fashioned love story.
That would be great. I've always loved those 2 together, but gave up because of all the problems. I understand her reasoning and his, but if those reasons could disappear..wow I'd be glued to the show. The 4 of them maybe more..being the new core family. That would be great. So many storylines. So much love in the afternoon.
It would be great! It would unite two core families. They could have more kids. How about Jason with a little girl? That would be cute. It would also give Steve Burton something new to do as Jason tried to figure out what he's actually qualified to do besides fix bikes & kill people. He could write "has managerial skills, great problem solver" on his resume. Have Spinelli write it up & he could get a position at the hospital as a shrink. Or relationship guru. But, seriously, seeing Jason try to transform his life after leaving the mob would be interesting because Sonny can't really do a thing without him & would be looking for ways to lure him back in & Claudia would be looking for ways to keep him out. He could go into partnership with Johnny at the garage.
Yeah that would be good except for Johnny, he's too close to Claudia and would always be pulling stuff on her behalf or she would show up all the time just to bug him.
Maybe, but even Johnny's getting sick of her now. Wouldn't it be funny if he ends up having her put in Shadybrook in the room next to dear old dad?
Excellent! Anthony would torment her nonstop.
Please, please , please send her away. All she does is the same thing every day. I'm way past sick of her & her all black wardrobe. I know jobs are hard to come by & when you've got one you keep it, but I would think Ms. Brown would be very bored with this story. Those writers need to either start writing real stories let someone else have thier job. Right now all they are doing is writing the same words, just having the actors stand in different spots
You hit the nail on the head. Did you check her out yesterday? 1. She's afraid (Michael might remember)2. she calls Johnny to whine (he couldn't possibly be doing anything but waiting for her call)3. She whines that she's Michaels family4. She rushes to the hospital to see Michael.5. Again she didn't think it through. what's she gonna do- rush into his room in front of everyone and ask if he remembers her voice? Start a big to do because she knows (and was told by Max) that she is not wanted there at this time. and finally..6. Make herself look more suspicious. All they are doing is standing in different places.
The whole story is a big mess & has been from the day Michael was shot. The writers didn't think everything through & it shows. The reason they keep rehashing the same lines in different places is to stretch the story out so long fans no longer care what happens to Claudia. They think if they drag it out long enough, we'll lose the desire to see her punished, or they're trying to redeem her. Maybe she's the one who'll get Michael to forgive his mother for the crime of having some sort of a life while he was in a coma. I can see it now. St. Claudia reunites mother & son. Suddenly, no one wants her dead!
YUCK !!! That sounds like something out of a bad dream. Sad part is your probably right.

Suddenly, no one wants her dead! See, this is exactly what they did with Carly, when she first came on. She was horrid just like Claudia, and in my opinion still is. Some maybe have forgotten just how bad Carly was, but I have not. I am just not one of those people who buy into the new Carly. But, if they can bring her back, as everyone says, then why can't Claudia be givin a chance. Why don't the writers start NOW, instead of keeping on and going the way she is?jmo
Maybe they will give Claudia a chance and maybe she will turn over a whole new leaf like Carly did. We'll just have to wait and see.
She's going to have to do something, cause yesterday it looked like Johnny has about washed his hands of her. Who's she gonna run and whine to now. There is no one else who will drop everything everytime she says jump. Even the old Z workers she has treated like crap so who's left? So maybe she will have to stand on her own 2 feet and be a grown up and deal with her situation. By the way did you check out Olivia and John in the bar? I sure hope this isn't the beginning of a hook-up. Sure looks like it though.
Haven't watched it yet. This should be interesting.....like a sidetrack from the crappy other storylines going on at this time.
Hopefull it will be cause by the looks of the storylines right now it looks like it's all detiorating and if I ff through all the rotten or boring stuff the show will take only 5 minutes to watch.
I actually timed it last week when I watched and was ff. It came on at 3pm and I was done watching at 3:17pm.
Wow. You know I've watched while I recorded before and too out all the ads and it was 35 min, so if you now take out all the yuck .. 17 minus ...So much for love in the afternoon.
It took years for Carly to mature and grow and turn herself around. For as rotten as she was, I don't think that she was ordering hits on people. When she did shoot at Tony, she ended up in Shadybrook.Claudia continually orders hits and feels that actually eliminating her enemies solves everything. Nobody will buy an about face and remorse from her at this point.
I would. After all this is the world she was raised in, this is all she knows. And I have no doubt that if Carly was raised in the mob world, Kate, Tony, and oh gosh all of the numerous people she hated over the years, including her own mother, WOULD be dead. Or at the very least they would have had to dodge bullets. They really should at least give her a chance, like they did with the loathsome Carly.
Claudia is wasted air time that colud go some other story... maybe give the Q's a story?
I agree totally. Comparing Carly's behavior when she first came to town (as a young adult about Maxie's age) when she slept with Tony to a woman of Claudia's age who tried to murder someone and accidently shot a child in the head is ridiculous. Claudia does know the difference between right & wrong. Oh, & someone raised the way Claudia was wouldn't ask a doctor who is so broke & desperate for cash that he's selling drugs to pay his bills, to take out another mob boss. She would know someone like that would rat on her immediately just to save himself. The truth is Claudia will probably find a way out of getting punished & she'll probably take at least one innocent person down before this is all over.
I missed it today , thanks to digital tv, so did anything interesting happen? Did Johnny sleep with Olivia? Did Claudia talk to Michael?
Oh boy did they sleep together! Hot, hot, hot! But, it was also done maturely. She was honest about being freaked that he's only a couple of years older than her son. She cooked him a meal & they drank some more. Then, King Sonny just barged in to tell her how wonderful it went when he poured out his heart to Michael, but Johnny walked out of the bedroom half dressed & Sonny was stupified. Poor Liv looked mortified. The witch didn't get in to see Michael. For once it was just him interacting with his mother & father. I really hope he loses that bad attitude soon. I understand he's frustrated, but he's lashing out at the wrong people. And, Jason's right. It doesn't help to have everyone smothering him with their wants & needs. Give the kid some room to breathe & stop treating him like a baby.
Darn, and I missed it. Anything else good happen?
Nope. That was the only good part. I gagged through Sonny's explanation of what happened & all his soul bearing to Michael. He makes me sick & the kid forgave him. Meanwhile, he's still freezing his mother out.
I can't believe how self rightously guilty Sonny is. That is a hard combo to pull off. I'm beginning to think he is looking for a reason to be mad at Carly and if she had been in the can when he woke up she's still be guilty.
I think so too. That's why I'm hoping he'll be equally mad at Sonny when he realizes how much living he did while Michael slept. Alot more than Carly! And, something that keeps getting lost in all the glorification of Sonny--Carly & Jax are the ones who got the second & third opinions. They're the ones who found the specialist who's procedure brought Michael back. I want Michael to know that too.
THEY DID EVERYTHING!!!!! and Sonny or at least someone should inform him of that. Perhaps Olivia should come in to bring Carly something and notice the way she's being treated and tell him (she has had no problem telling anyone else about anything she considered wrong)
Call it what YOU want and I will call it what I want. Just because Carly was younger, and not really that young, I guess just makes it all ok. Wish I had thought of that before! I will give ya'll that Claudia is a bit much and is even getting on my nerves, but on Carly we will just have to agree to disagree, I guess. But I, for one, will never like Carly.
Yeah, but Michael doesn't even know Olivia. He was in the coma when she came to town. But, I'd like to see someone he'd listen to tell him.
Sometimes a stranger can get through and make someone think better than someone they know. There's no reason for an ulterior motive.
That's true. I really hope someone talks to him about his misplaced anger & soon before the Qs get a hold of him. Edward especially.
Does he have dementia or what? How could he think spouting all that crap about taking him away from his family and changing his name was good for someone who just had brain surgery and just woke up from a year long coma? That's just plain stupid!
He didn't think. He just wants what he wants. That's one of the biggest problems with the Qs. They want & the world's supposed to stop turning. I think Michael living with the Qs is going to be every bit as bad for him as staying with Sonny. 2 of Monica's three kids were addicts & the third suffered permanent brain damage as a result of AJ's alcoholism. This was all due to Monica & Alan's stellar parenting. Does anyone really think the son of an alcoholic & the grandson of a drug addict should be around an open bar unsupervised when he's dealing with the kind of trauma Michael is? That he won't be tempted to drown his sorrows the way his father did? Maybe he could go for a drive with Kristina & have history repeat itself with her head smashing into a tree. Then, they can repeat all of this again with her.
You forgot about the wonderful influence of Tracy, the screeching shrew who will teach him the fine art of buying what you want including people, and the resident falling down drunk who will teach him how to pull the perfect scams but also that when you don't want to deal with life - you crawl into the bottom of a bottle and be proud of it.
True. But, about the only good thing is maybe we'll see Luke take an interest in him. Maybe the writers will finally remember Luke's his uncle & get him to stop calling him Mr. Spencer. Also, maybe we'll see him sneaking Carly in to see Michael. He & Laura Wright haven't had many scenes together. I used to love the way Luke & Carly bantered back & forth. The whole love/hate relationship they had. Now, they don't even share scenes anymore.
Do you think the Q's might really get their hands on Michael?
It looks that way, according to all these spoilers. Edward's at least going to try to get him. Another thing they messed up on was him fighting with Sonny. Unless the writers forgot, Sonny has no legal rights to Michael. He gave him up. He can't be sued.
So very true. what a mess!
I'm also thinking that Michael's age would prevent the Q's from "getting custody." I figure he might be around 16 now and in a lot of places he could sue to be emancipated. That might be a way to go. Michael free to make his own decisions and choices.
Ive read that Michael goes to live with Sonny, unless Carly allows it that can't happen because Sonny has no rights. I don't see Carly doing that unless she just can't handle him at all. But the only other way is emancipation.
I think Carly might be so happy that he's awake that she may let him go live with Sonny. I think the brat treating Carly this way will crush her so much that she'll let him go.I still think it would be great for him to live with the Q's. Kids always bring "life" to that crazy family/ i also think he & Tracy could be funny together. Her bossiness & his mini mobster ways could be funny.
Yeah, but the only problem is they never learn from their mistakes. If Michael goes to live with them, in the current state he's in, with their lack of supervision, he could very well end up being just like AJ. They spoil the kids that they have & they don't really pay attention. First, AJ becomes an alcoholic on their watch. Then, his actions cause his talented, smart, friendly & good-hearted brother permanent brain damage & a complete personality change. Then, learning nothing from that, they allow Emily the same freedoms with the same lack of attention on their part & she, too, becomes an addict. Throw in Lulu having an affair with her married step-brother in their home & you have a pattern that could have lasting and dangerous consequences that rival the boy getting shot in the head.
I agree, I don't think Michael should live there but I think they should have access to him and that visits should be allowed maybe a weekend a month, whatever.
I think that's probably the kind of agreement Monica & Carly would've reached if Edward hadn't put the idea in Michael's head in the first place. Now, the kid wants to live with his father & doesn't even know about Sonny's wife, the snake or the spawn. When he does, he'll really want to go live with the Qs, especially when Sonny tells him he's not going to have any part in the family business.I think the best place for Michael to live right now would be Jason's. He's safe there, it's quiet so he can rest & think about everything & Jason would be better at monitoring how much pressure everyone's putting on the kid & keep an eye on him to make sure he's not getting into trouble. Also, Jason understands alot of what Michael's dealing with, so he'll be more prepared for things neither Carly nor Sonny are & he won't overwhelm the kid like Edward, with his Candyland fantasy that he was spewing for the kid. Even Lulu realized that was going to lead to a mess. He should not be making these decisions. He's just a kid. I don't care how old they aged him. His legal parents are the ones who make that decision.
I haven't watched todays yet did Edward visit Michael again and act worse than he did the day Michael woke up? Jason probably is the one that should take care of him but that decision doesn't have to be made yet ,he's going to be kept at the hospital for a while right?
As long as Patrick has any say, but with everyone arguing over him, Michael might just sneak out. Edward was painting a teenaged boy's fantasy of the perfect life at the Qs. He could have his own wing of the house & drive the Bentley & play his music, etc. And, it was working. Carly heard some of it & got into it with Edward & then, Sonny came in. Lulu actually did the smart thing then. She went to get Jason. So, hopefully Monday, Jason will be the voice of sanity.
Jason usually is the only one who can make people settle down and think. As for Edwards "painting" Any teenager would love to live there, but I have a feeling all of that won't be enough for Michael, he'll never be satisfied and always want MORE.
That reminds me of something I've been noticing about Michael since way before the shooting. He has a strong desire to take over Sonny's business, despite being raised to want a different life. Maybe the thing is that Michael can't escape predetermined genetic desires. The Qs, Spencers & Carly's biological father, John Durant are all power hungry, greedy, and self-centered by nature. So, maybe nothing but time and disappointment can straighten him out. But, I still hold out hope that Jason can help him
