While Carly & Craig have given me some laughs lately, I really think that the only way Carly can bring herself to be with him is to have a few drinks first & I think Craig knows it that's why he keeps "plying" her with alcohol. Deep down for Carly, I think it has something to do with Jack. I loved Jack & Carly together!!!! Carly drinking so much maybe the way they'll (TPTB) handle the actresses absence during her maternity leave.

Yep...makes perfect sense they'll use her rehab stay for Maura's maternity leave. I actually like her with Craig. He's no Jack but that's what makes him cool. He's a little nefarious and snarky but Craig always has been and Jon's portrayal of him is spot on. As much as I always loved CarJack, I like Jack with Janet so it's only fair that Carly actually have her own life. I'm hoping that when she returns from rehab there are real feelings for Craig. No booze needed!

I agree I like Jon's portrayal of Craig. I actually think he is the best Craig they've had since Scott Bryce. Carly should have her own life but I don't know about Jack & Janet b/c as of late, Jack's been too concerned about what's going on w/Carly.

I think the better question is, drunk or not drunk, why is Carly screwing the guy who tried to kill her sister by running her off the road? You know, the "accident" that put Rosanna in a coma for TWO YEARS? Not to mention what Craig did to Gwen with the baby switch. This man ruined BOTH of her sister's lives...so why would Carly give him the time of day much less keep going to bed with him? As usual on this show, the writing completely contradicts with the character's histories. Their actions don't make sense. Carly and Craig's relationship is the best example. If they were feuding like they used to, I could understand it. But not this...even if Carly is a lush.

Totally agree with that Andy. The last time she saw him before this return she didn't even want him in the house and said he belonged out on the porch with the rest of the trash. This just isn't believable unless you totally forget history and it's out of character for Carly. While she believes in multiple chances for people, that isn't the case if they hurt her family and Craig certainly has done that. She will go to the wall to defend or protect her family and she wouldn't be giving Craig another chance. Now trying to get revenge or playing him for a fool I could buy but not giving him the time of day let alone getting into bed with him literally even if she is drunk. The writers need to stop ignoring history just so they can create whoever they want as a couple.

But Rosanna will be back soon.....so they won't be ignoring history for long. It should make for good story when Rosanna (hopefully) confronts Carly about just WTF she is doing.....Though, on a side note, I am loving Jon Lindstrom as Craig and he has great chemistry with Maura West.

Rosanna returning can't hurt but I still don't have faith that the writers will get the job done. That's the problem when the characters are always dumbed down or you have to ignore their history to watch the current show.

I'm the last person that will defend Carly. She's done so many incredibly stupid things over the years that I expect her to screw up sooner or later. But this seems too extreme even for her. And since the writers don't respect the history of their characters, I wouldn't be surprised to see Rosanna become buddy buddies with Craig once she's back in town. Maybe they can go together to the road she was driven off of and reminisce about the good old days.
