TV Guide is reporting that Katie Couric and the executive producer of her upcoming talk show, Jeff Zucker, are pressuring ABC to give GH a stay of execution, citing the low ratings of THE REVOLUTION, which, in the event of GH's demise, would serve as a lead-in to Couric's series. The mag claims that Couric also hopes to sidestep the rage of GH fans (and the boycott they would likely organize) should the show be cancelled to make way for her show. For more, click here.
