I just read on one of my spoiler sites that she told Access Hollywood her time is almost up but she will always love to come visit. Now once upon a time I loved Brenda and Brenda and Sonny. Since her return they have shoved her down our throats, had every man do a 180 and fall all over themselves to love her, protect her or be around her. They ruined couples and characters for this great awesome return only for her to turn around and walk out of the show. GH is only good enough for a temporary gig in between her finding other projects. This is why I no longer watch and personally I hope she never returns. Kill Brenda have her body burn to ash in front of us and may she never be spoken of again!!!!!!

Now that they made her the center of the show, what are they going to do to write her off? Reunite her with her kid & have her go on the run from big, bad Theo? Or are they going to craft another death by disappearance & have her leave her son to be raised by Jason & Sam or by Liz because she feels so terrible that they lost a child? What great, selfless act will she commit to solidify her sainthood status? I mean they have her floating around town like some angel with everyone bowing & scraping. They portrayed Carly as a [censored] for wanting to warn Sonny that the woman he worships at this moment has been lying about a major part of her past, something that could set off a bout of his bipolar disorder. They turn ordinarily self-confident women like Carly, Maxie & Lulu into green-eyed, spiteful teenagers over her & then, she just leaves town, still worshipped by every man in town?Watching Jax blame Sonny for the limo blowing up, I couldn't help recalling the last time Brenda brought a lunatic to town & everyone blamed Sonny & his business. Not Brenda & her lousy taste in men. This woman brings nothing but misery & yet, the audience is supposed to be sad that Brenda's leaving. I like VM-G, but I'm sorry. I'll be thrilled if Brenda leaves. I just think it's a shame they had to turn the show upside-down to facillitate her return at the expense of other characters on the show.

Well said!To be frank, I haven't viewed a whole episode since before Brenda's return.Typical.VMG does not really have the star power to float in and out, and it really does cause story disruptions. Look at what Tony Geary's schedule does. Rumor mill is high gear again that Genie Francis is in talks again. Do we really need these disruptions?

At least with Laura, they don't have to turn the whole show upside-down to facilitate her return. She's mom to 3 major characters. She's also connected to most of the major characters by bonds of friendship. Brenda was only connected to 4 characters & none are by blood. I'd much rather see Laura back than Brenda. She can be incorporated into existing storylines seemlessly, whereas with Brenda, they have to manufacture stories & make characters behave out of character in order to pull it off. Now is the perfect time to bring Laura back. Lucky's grieving a child & about to enter into a greencard marriage, Nikolas is soon to learn he's not Aidan's real father & Lulu will probably need help dealing with her father being responsible for Jake's death. As for the truth to that rumor, I'll believe it when I see it. Everyone's always "in talks" with the show.

I've heard Genie is coming back for a while now. As much as I love Laura / Genie Francis the GH writers ruined her. So, unless they can fix her I would rather her not come back.
