Phillip Returns
Grant Aleksander will return to GUIDING LIGHT as Phillip Granville Spaulding in January 2009. "I love the show very much. I always have, and when I left [in 2004], I tried to make it clear that there were no hard feelings," Aleksander tells Soap Opera Weekly. I stopped watching GL years ago, but if there would ever anything that would get me back, this would be it! If the storyline is good enough, I'll definitely check out GL to see Phillip.
You just made my day!! I am so excited to hear Phillip will be returning. He is exactly what GL needs right now!
Maybe Phillip can fill the void left by Gus and Harley. I have been having a hard time watching GL lately. I don't really care for the Foley brothers or their storylines. Just don't hook Phillip up with Marina, she has been with enough of Harley's exes.

I remember way back when I first started watching GL. It was when Phillip, Rick, Mindy, Beth and Lujack were on. It will be great to have Phillip back. I just hope the story line will be worth his return. Do we know how long he will be staying?
