We could do that or keep them on their toes swimming in overtime trying to censor and filter what we say. Seems we only have to discuss a gay storyline to bring on the shiz storm.

I agree with you Wineaux. I think if we disappeared for the weekend, we'd actually be doin them a favor. And I am not feelin that.

Censorship is different than protecting others from vicious personnel attacks. I've gone on the other sites & it's almost like they're being stalked by 'big brother", the most innocent of posts are being picked out for punishment by the moderators & the end result is simple, look at those sites & the lack of activity vs what transpire's on the Y+R threads. I have noticed whenever the different lifestyle subject is brought up is when these board police show up. Considering the vast majority of those who post believe in judging folks not on who they are but the type person they are I feel it's reverse discrimination & pot stirring of the worse variety. If the soaps didn't want the controversy, they wouldn't have these storyines. Oh well, battle stations everybody, we can't back down on this, if we do, it'll never stop & this board will become useless.

I was offline emailing w/Nymphie yesterday when we realized they had basically shut down the original thread that caused our blood pressure to soar, then the realization that Nymphie couldn't post or access the threads happened. Lord luv Nymphie, I could feel the anger & pain in those message's, then I got in an SUV for a road trip to the beach with 4 grandkids, my Daughter & her hubby & my hubby. I can promise no one got in my way as I made the 8hr trip in 7hr's.I'm angry over what transpired but also giggling my tush off over the way the troops rallied to Nymphie's defense & how after that happened Nymphie was suddenly able to post again. Hmmm... magic? There is power in the pen (or posts) there is also much power in our ability to stick together so this stops & doesn't happen to anyone else. Now I'm gonna shake off the sand (it's in places I forget I had) going to go visit Margaritaville (it's 5 oclock somewhere) & hoist a toast to the greatest internet friends anyone could have. I actually went from crying to LMAO this morning when I read the posts from last night, so no, I won't go quietly over any of this, I can also promise after spending the next 48 hrs with this bunch & a pitcher of tequila mixed drinks. Lynn Leahey will wonder what happened to the professional sounding, concerned person who wrote her on Friday.

I'll start. OK, this boy walks off the set because he does not want to kiss another guy. Not profesional and will probably will hurt his chances of future jobs. That said........YOU GO CHRIS! I am just disgusted at the thought of kissing another girl, so I can imagine how he feels. I don't want to see it on TV either. In fact sometimes I have a hard time watching the boys and girls kiss, the gross noises they make, when the set is so quite, come thru loud and clear on the TV. But if I had a job and I was not told beforehand that they would make my character gay, I would be mad as hell. (did this exact thing not happen with another boy on this show, I think it was Kim Zimmers son?) and I would have probably walked out too. I wish this boy al;l the luck in the world. I wonder if this all would have happened if say, it was a guy who did not want to kiss a certain girl and then walked off the set. We probably could have written anything we wanted and the 2 dumb-a*ses would have joined the discussion instaed of reacting the way they did.I was telling my sister(who is gay, and finds this whole thing funny) about all of this and he thinks the whole thing probably hit too close to home for mala or joe. And that is why they came out fists-flying. But even so, I don't care what thier lifestyles are as long as they don't rub it in my face.

That is exactly why I did it. I liked the idea of keeping them busy for awhile, rather than boycotting. I don't really think they would care if anyone boycotted, since they really don't care if they send poeple away in droves.

ok.. let me start by saying.. as part of all the hoolpa that went on yesterday and is still going on i am sure...I want to personally thank each of you for your support...as to the boycott..while that is a wonderful idea, they would care less.. THAT would just free up more time for them to pick their noses, eat their boogers, and do what ever else that they'd like to do...I say..stay true to who we are..what WE ( not them) created.....show a true stance of dedication to US..not them........WE, by virtue of the sheer numbers alone, made THIS what it is.....lets not let them have the last word in this...I say rock on..talk..chat....say whats on your mind..make THEM earn their keep...THe shizz is gonna hit it soon enough.......as I told a few in pms...I have a dear dear friend who just happens to be a major magazine distrbutor........alerted him to all this this morning..being that he doesnt like SOD or SOW ( personal issues between him and them) he has decided NOT to renew HIS option to distrinute the mags...to a market of about 4000 supermarkets I might add.......as I have said before......lets see how "sales" go down........I got confirmation this mornng that my subsciption to BOTH magazines has officially been canceled......My cousin, and her sisters canceled theirs as a show of support!"the power of one can topple the lot of many" ROCK ON..make it the best, greatest, safest weekend my friends!Game on ma'am....

I respectfully have to disagree with that. He is for freedom of speech as long as it does not go against his views. And when it comes to gay issue's He only cares about his opinion. Did you see the whole Miss Cali. thing. When she did not agree with him, he set out to ruin this young girls life. And I know she did wrong things to, but he started it simply because she did not agree with his gay views. That said, it would be nice if HE or SOMEONE did or said something about this. To be honest I really don't even think Lynn Lahey did anything or will do anything about these 2 morons. I think she just wrote what she wrote to pacify us, and most likely never even said anything to them. or Mala would not have come back on with her very condesending remarks about Nymph not being banned.
