Monday
Taylor told Stephanie that Ridge was confessing their one-nighter to Brooke. Taylor was unsure of a future with her ex but Stephanie was still certain that a reconciliation between Ridge and Taylor was still in the cards. Stephanie pep-talked Taylor about not giving up when she's "so close" to reuniting with Ridge.
Nick and Bridget were enjoying their honeymoon in Hawaii, unaware that Jackie and Owen were winging their way to the islands on the company jet.... On the beach, Bridget suggested to her husband that they go snorkeling or parasailing, but Nick wanted to go back to their hotel, the same one where Owen and Jackie were checking into. In fact, the their room was next door to the newlyweds' suite. Amazingly, the couples narrowly missed seeing each other.... Clarke called Nick with the news that his mother was missing from the office. Nick ordered Garrison to search for Jackie. After hanging up, Nick and Bridget saw a couple making out on the beach, not knowing they were looking at Jackie and Owen.
Ridge explained to Brooke how the loss of Phoebe still "overwhelms me" and that he couldn't cope with Steffy getting back together with Rick. Ridge shared about taking Taylor's anti-anxiety pills at the Big Bear cabin. Brooke expressed her gratitude that Taylor was there to support Ridge through his pain. He talked about "feeling good" thanks to the pills, then confessed, "Taylor and I had sex."
Tuesday
Brooke was devastated by Ridge's confession that he slept with Taylor. "I can't believe you could betray me this way," Brooke sobbed, then assumed that Taylor fed Ridge the anti-anxiety meds to get him into bed. Ridge explained that Taylor only gave him one pill, but he took a handful without her knowing. Brooke was too upset to hear him out. "How could you let her do this?" Brooke shrieked and stormed out of the house.
"My mother and Owen are AWOL," Nick huffed to Bridget, who tried to distract him with sensual smooches. That didn't do the trick, because Nick was soon trying to teach his wife how to swing a golf club. She got exasperated with the lesson and urged him to go golfing without her. Nick then got peeved when he saw that their neighbors had hung their bathing suits on the railing separating their patios. Unbeknownst to Nick, the offenders were Jackie and Owen. Nick and Bridget went for a walk and spied preparations on the beach for a wedding.
While Jackie was in the shower, Owen finalized his plans for their nups. When Jackie emerged from the other room, Owen teased that he has a surprise in store for her. He led Jackie to the beach and pointed out how much Nick was against their relationship. Owen wanted to prove their commitment, then asked Jackie to marry him in Hawaii.
Stephanie wanted to call Ridge to see what was happening with Brooke, but Taylor told her pal to put down the phone. "Don't you want to know what happened?" Steph queried, but Taylor assumed that Ridge and Brooke had made up. A fuming Brooke arrived and raged at Taylor for luring Ridge to bed. Stephanie went into the other room and Taylor countered that Brooke has caused much more pain for Ridge. "He left you because he couldn't stand living with you anymore," Taylor retorted, but Brooke accused her of taking advantage of Ridge with the pills. Ridge showed up and insisted that Taylor didn't know how many pills he took. He deemed his one-nighter with Taylor a mistake. Brooke tearfully told Ridge that she truly feels like this means good-bye for them.
Wednesday
"This is not the end for us," Ridge declared, but Brooke said she couldn't
get past him his betrayal with Taylor. Ridge asked Taylor for alone time
with Brooke and Doc left the room. Ridge insisted that he and Brooke could
still be together but she said, "We're falling apart." Brooke acknowledged
that Ridge can't forgive Rick for driving the car that killed Phoebe so that
means Ridge will never love Brooke unconditionally. Ridge refused to believe
that their relationship is over but Brooke lamented, "We can't fix this.
It's beyond us." Ridge was shocked when she advised him to be with Taylor.
While relaxing by the pool, Bridget told Nick she didn't want to golf with
him. She decided to go jogging instead. Owen, who was nearby, was still trying
to talk Jackie into marrying him. She also received a text from Nick, asking
for her whereabouts. Jackie texted back that she is on vacation but didn't
specify where.
Stephanie blabbed to Thorne and Felicia that Ridge slept with Taylor and
Brooke knows. "They're never going to survive this," Felicia opined.
Stephanie hoped this means Ridge and Taylor will be reconciling. "I guess
congratulations are in order," surmised Thorne.
Owen and Jackie went back to the beach so she could take another surfing
lesson. While Owen watched from the shore, Bridget jogged by. "What are you
doing here?!" she exploded. He insisted that he didn't know the newlyweds
were honeymooning in Hawaii. A panicked Bridget urged Owen to leave the
island with Jackie before Nick sees them. She returned to her hotel room to
keep Nick from leaving. She suggested they order lunch in and watch a movie.
While Bridget was showering, Nick wandered out on the patio and something
caught his attention. "You've got to be kidding me!" he said as Bridget
joined him. She was relieved that he was peeved that someone had made a
replica of his boat.
Taylor returned to the room and Brooke asked her to "love" and "appreciate"
Ridge. Brooke urged Ridge to find joy with Taylor. Brooke then put Ridge and
Taylor's hands together and said good-bye. Once Brooke walked outside, she
collapsed in tears.
Thursday
After Taylor apprised Thomas and Steffy of their father's split from Brooke,
the kids then begged their dad to move into the guest room. While Thomas and
Steffy went off to prepare breakfast, Ridge told Taylor that it may not be
good for him to be around his family while he's in such a melancholy mood.
Taylor understood and Ridge left before Thomas and Steffy came back.
In Hawaii, Bridget and Owen were able to keep Nick and Jackie from seeing
each other on the patio restaurant. While Owen pressured his cougar into
marrying him, Bridget persuaded Nick, who was sulking about his mom, to go
back to his room. Bridget then secretly confronted Owen about staying out of
sight and he said he would try his best. Owen then found Jackie and said
their wedding plans were good to go but she was hesitant to rush into
marriage. Owen insisted that he didn't want Nick to have the chance to tear
them part. "Marry me, now," Owen pleaded.
A haggard looking Brooke answered the door to Stephanie, who thanked Brooke
for giving up Ridge. Brooke expected Steph to gloat, but the old gal was
surprisingly subdued as she pointed out that Ridge would never forget Rick's
role in Phoebe's death. Brooke said she had to keep "it together" for the
sake of her kids and announced that her chance for love is now over. Having
lost Eric, Stephanie knew what Brooke was talking about. A tearful Brooke
went upstairs and Stephanie actually felt sad as she realized just how much
Brooke really did love Ridge.
In his hotel room, Nick called Clarke, who said he couldn't find out where
Owen and Jackie went. A perturbed Nick ordered Clarke to keep looking.
Bridget returned to find her husband all worked up over Owen. Nick wanted to
cool off my jumping in the pool but Bridget kept him from leaving by
throwing him on the bed.
Friday
While Ridge was in his office pining away for his Logan, Stephanie came in and pointed out that reconciling with Taylor would really help his kids. Ridge seemed to take his mother's advice to heart and left. Meanwhile, a wistful Taylor thought about her night of passion with Ridge. Taylor then revealed to Thomas and Steffy that Ridge hadn't made up his mind about coming back to them. They were all thrilled when Ridge showed up and announced that he'd like to come back home. "That is, if you'll have me," he said to Taylor, who happily agreed.
"Are you sure about this?" Jackie asked Owen about his determination to get married and he assured he was. Jackie finally gave in and they headed to the beach, where a traditional Hawaiian wedding ceremony awaited them. As the sun set, Jackie and Owen began their vows.
Brooke was depressed as she remembered her and Ridge's last wedding. Rick showed up and blamed himself for his mother's shattered relationship with Ridge. Stephanie arrived and shared that Ridge "has gone back to Taylor." Stephanie said that Brooke's "revolving door of men" is what caused Rick to act out against Ridge. In an almost compassionate way, Steph pointed out that Taylor gives Ridge peace of mind and that Brooke's time with him "is gone."
In their honeymoon suite, Bridget was reading up on Hawaiian culture as Nick prepared to go golfing. An entry about "a wedding circle of flowers" made Bridget realize that Owen was aiming to marry Jackie. Bridget confessed to Nick that his mother and Owen were on the island so a horrified Nick realized what could be happening and rushed down to the beach. By the time he got there, Owen and Jackie were roaring off in a dune buggy with the sign "Just Married" posted on the back. Nick called out to his mother, but they didn't hear him and disappeared out of sight.
