BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL

Monday

Nick found Jackie immersed in work, fretting about keeping their company
afloat. When she started grousing about Katie, Nick asked when was the last
time she had romance in her life. Jackie cited how she has her family and
work to keep her busy but Nick said she needed someone who would make her
happy.

"You have turned into someone I don't even know," Steffy raged at Thomas.
"You're crazy!" He insisted that he was trying to protect his sister from
Rick and knows he went too far. Thomas wanted to tell Rick the truth but
Taylor and Ridge balked. Steffy pointed out that Pam is
taking the fall for something she didn't do but Ridge and Taylor wanted to
protect Thomas. When they went into the other room, Thomas tearfully
apologized to his sister. Steffy softened and hugged him. Meanwhile, Ridge
and Taylor were trying to figure out a way to help Thomas. "We're not going
to lose our son," Ridge vowed to an emotional Taylor, who wondered why
Thomas didn't talk to her about his pent-up anger. She also worried that
Steffy would ultimately tell Rick. "We'll get through this together," Ridge
declared.

Brooke visited Pam in jail. "Tell me you did it," Brooke demanded but Pam
insisted that she didn't try to kill Rick. Brooke returned home and shared
her doubts with Rick that Pam is totally guilty and worried that someone
would still try to finish him off. Rick insisted that Pam is his assailant
and Stephanie was just trying to get to Brooke. Steffy then called Rick and
Assured him they would see each other "in a few hours." After they hung up, Rick
complained that Ridge was trying to brainwash Steffy and not because
he was worried about her safety. Brooke noted to Rick that a relationship
with Steffy just had too many problems.

Tuesday

Taylor woke up alongside Ridge in bed but they had their
clothes on so no hanky panky occured. They immediately starting worrying about their son's fate. "We've got to protect him," Taylor whined. They went into the
living room to talk to Steffy and Thomas. Ridge affirmed that the best thing
to do was to cover up Thomas's acts of violence, which meant that Rick could
never know. Thomas wondered what would become of Pam and Ridge said they
will think of something. He then suggested they all go home.

Rick couldn't stop thinking about lovely Steffy and being socked by Thomas.
He was thrilled when Steffy suddenly arrived. They started making out and tearing off each
other's clothes. After they had sex, Rick could tell that something was
bothering Steffy and asked her to come clean. "There shouldn't be any
secrets between us," she explained.

Brooke obviously believed Pam's innocence and ordered around-the-clock
security for Rick. Stephanie showed up and Brooke admitted that she didn't
think Pam tried to kill Rick. Steph then suggested Donna and Marcus are the
guilty parties and Brooke strongly disagreed. After Steph departed, Ridge
returned home and Brooke shared her belief that Rick's attacker is still on
the loose. Ridge assured her that Rick isn't in danger, then said he had to go
somewhere. "Your son's going to be okay, I promise," he said and left.

Katie showed up at Jackie M to bring Nick's phone and Jackie didn't miss the
opportunity to call Ms. Logan "very bad news for my son." Katie urged Jackie
to accept her, for Nick's sake. "Nick still hasn't changed his mind about
marrying me," Katie pointed out, but Jackie said it will only be a matter of
time until Nick sees the real her. Katie warned Jackie to back off or she'll
have a real fight on her hands.

When Thomas got back to his home, the gravity of his actions weighed on him.
"What have I done?" he agonized. Taylor called James and left a message that
she needed his help for another family emergency. Meanwhile, Ridge confessed
to Stephanie that Thomas is Rick's assailant. When Ridge said he didn't want
to go to the police, Stephanie realized that he wants Pam to stay in jail.

Wednesday

Stephanie objected to letting Pam take the fall for Thomas's crimes. "My son
can't go to prison, Mother," Ridge declared, then groused how Steffy is
dedicated to Rick as if they are married. Stephanie hoped that her
granddaughter wouldn't say anything to Rick. Ridge suggested they get Pam a
great lawyer and get her cleared of the charges, but Stephanie worried that
may not happen.

Thomas insisted that he should turn himself in so Pam can go free, but Taylor
refused to consider that option. She assured him that Ridge would find a way out
of this. Thomas noted that even if they find a way to spring Pam from jail,
that will only compel Rick to search for the truth. When Thomas started
boiling about Rick, Taylor told her son to get a handle on his anger. "I
will never let anything happen to you," she told him.

Rick fished for information, but Steffy didn't say anything about
Thomas. When Rick declared that Pam was his assailant, Steffy blurted out
that it wasn't true and he asked if she knew the true identity of his attacker. When she
hedged, he guessed her dad was behind it all, but she insisted Ridge
wasn't responsible. She then distracted him with another round of sex but he
still kept asking her to tell all. She became sensitive when he referred to
her "psycho brother."

Katie visited Brooke, who revealed that Ridge felt there was no longer a
threat against Rick. Brooke shared her suspicions that Ridge knows something
but he's keeping it to himself. She also wondered where Ridge went after
he charged out like he was "on a mission." Still, Brooke held hope that
everything will work out. After Katie left, Brooke made a call about setting up security. Ridge returned and Brooke wanted
to know why he thinks Pam isn't guilty. He then confessed that her son's
assailant is someone in their own family who was only trying to scare Rick.
Brooke was shocked when Ridge confessed that Thomas is the perpetrator.

Thursday

Brooke reeled from Ridge's revelation. "Your son tried to kill my son?" she
gasped. Ridge explained that Thomas didn't mean any harm and wasn't trying
to kill Rick. Brooke had a hard time swallowing that and it didn't get any
easier when Ridge shared that he won't let Thomas confess. Brooke feared
that he would act out against Rick but Ridge promised that wouldn't happen.
Ridge begged Brooke to keep this secret and she finally gave in. "Rick won't
find out from me," she sighed.

A job-seeking Owen barged into Jackie's office and was surprised to
find Bridget designing. He guessed that she was Madam X and she tried to
cover that she was simply meeting Jackie for lunch. Owen didn't believe
her. He teased that he now had leverage on Bridget and wanted her to help
him get a job at Jackie M. Bridget pointed out that he would need to talk to
Jackie about that and Owen kissed her. Jackie entered and wasn't happy that
Owen now knew Madam X's identity. He assured her that he just wanted a job and wasn't
going to blab. Bridget left and Jackie interviewed Owen, then promised to
keep him in mind. After Owen departed, Jackie looked over his portfolio and
was impressed by his swimsuit shots.

While Thomas was alone, Rick showed up and wanted to know why Tom had a
problem with him. "You and I used to be friends, Thomas," Rick pointed out
and asked why Thomas slugged him. Thomas then raged how Rick took advantage
of Phoebe, Taylor and Steffy. Thomas got so overly worked up that Rick
figured out that Thomas was his assailant. Rick pointed out that both Phoebe
and Taylor dumped him so that doesn't make him the bad guy. Thomas said that
Rick only pursued them because he wanted to get back at Ridge for an unhappy
childhood. Rick threatened to call the police and Thomas attacked him. When
Rick started to fight back, Ridge intervened by grabbing Rick's arm. "Don't
you ever lay a hand on my son," Ridge growled.

Friday

Ride was horrified to find out that Rick knows Thomas attacked him. Ridge
explained that his son had been "pushed beyond his limits." Thomas tried to
apologize for his actions to Rick, who wasn't appeased. When Rick tried to
call the police, Ridge stopped him and asked Thomas to leave.

At the restaurant, Jackie came across Owen dining alone and joined him. They
enjoyed drinks and laughs but when the tab arrived, Jackie insisted on
paying. when Jackie had to leave, it was obvious that she was quite taken
with the young man.

While Taylor shared her concern for Thomas's fate with Steffy, he rushed in
and said that Rick now knows everything. Taylor freaked that Rick will call
the police, but Steffy assured her mom that she can convince her boyfriend not
to do so. Steffy was sure Rick would never hurt her like that.

Ridge outlined to Rick how Phoebe's death affected his family. Rick tried
once again to explain he was also impacted by the tragedy. Ridge then
reminded Rick that he said he would do anything to make up for Phoebe's
death and asked Rick, "In the name of compassion, don't throw my son's life
away." Rick pointed out that the police won't stop investigating but Ridge
said Rick has the chance to make Steffy happy by protecting her brother.
That seemed to get through to Rick but he said his silence comes with a
price. Rick wanted the car that was blown up replaced and demanded to be treated as Ridge's equal at Forrester Creations. Finally, Rick ordered that Ridge accept Rick and
Steffy's relationship. "I own your ass," jeered Rick. "And Steffy's, too."
