It was so thoughtful of GH to trot Bobbie out for ONE episode, given that one of the grandsons with whom she is never seen was shot in the head. Of course, she couldn't be there during her daughter's miscarriage as a result of hypothermia, and she couldn't be in court to see her best friend tearfully admit to a hit and run (which is no surprise, as she also couldn't attend Emily's funeral), but it was nice to see her show up in the ICU and then slam down a drink at the Haunted Star and reminisce about BJ. Jaclyn Zeman OWNED those scenes, and we need more of her and less of day players, ghosts with no contracts, plastic surgeons who can't shoot, and mob princesses with heaving bosom. I feel sorry for Bobbie - she must be strung out something awful, what with having to cover EVERYONE while they're off driving/drinking/shooting/adultering/sneering/plotting, etc. (although not necessarily in that order. At least, not always.).
HasNoTime - But, wait, since Epiphany is the boss of the nurses' station, Bobbie doesn't even have to work anymore. So she must be hanging out at the never-seen Brownstone, downing brewskies, eating corn nuts and watching Golden Girls reruns.
Ah, but perhaps Bobbie had to pinch-hit when Epiphany was felled by her...heart attack? Angina? Gas? I can't remember, it was over so quickly. Or because I was bored. Whatever. And corn nuts? Please. Bobbie isn't that one-trick (ahem) pony anymore. Now, it's all about white sales and bagel chips. *nods* Maybe she, too, can fall in love with Jason and/or Sonny and once again have a storyline.
Nah, Bobbie and Leslie are hanging out in the brownstone together, founders of the "Forgotten Grandmothers Club" (FGC). Once in awhile, Spencer might visit and they'll all bake cookies. Bobbie will rant on about how not only did Jerry hold her daughter hostage when he came back to town, but he never even called. The bastard. Then after Spencer leaves, Bobbie and Lesie hit Jake's for their own mature version of Girls' Night Out.
