B&B’s Sean Kanan (Deacon) has booked a new film role. “It’s called Limelight,” Kanan shares with Digest. “It’s filming now in Los Angeles. One of the actors in it is Jonathan Lipnicki from Jerry Maguire. He’s all grown up now and he is not a little kid anymore.” Rounding out the cast are David Chokachi (BAYWATCH), Bruce Vilanch, Paul Vandervort (THE JANICE DICKINSON MODELING AGENCY) and DAYS vet Jason Brooks (ex-Peter). “The story has to do with a kid who is a social media sensation from Colorado, and he is convinced he’s going to be the next big thing so he packs up for the bright lights of Hollywood. I play a very successful, slimy film producer who leads this kid down a very dark path. It’s a sizeable part, so it’s going to be fun.” Kanan reports that Deacon will not be off-screen while the actor is busy shooting the film. “Talk about perfect timing and getting lucky,” he adds. “The show is dark next week and I shoot for seven days. It completely coincided with our week off! I’m so happy about that.”
