Bold and Beautiful Recaps
B&B Week of October 25, 2010
Monday
At Forrester, Taylor warned Brooke to never lay a hand on her son again. She insisted she is protecting Thomas and doesn't want them working together. Thomas countered that he is lucky to be working with someone with Brooke's expertise. He told his mother he is still not happy she gave her 25 percent over to Steffy but that he let it go and she should let this go. Taylor left, but not before telling Brooke not to drag her son down. Thomas apologized to Brooke, who suggested they hold a press event for the Men's Line. Taylor then spied from the doorway as Thomas modeled his first design for Brooke. She was impressed and suggested a few alterations to the fit. Brooke complimented his sculpted body and called him handsome just like Ridge. Thomas left for alterations and Taylor barged back in, declared Brooke a predator and accused her of groping her son. Their argument escalated and Brooke slapped Taylor when she mentioned Brooke's romp with Oliver.
Amber arrived at Jackie M and overheard Nick, Aggie and Whip discussing her lackluster designs. Nick told Amber that making her lead designer might have been a mistake. He flipped through her pile of uninspiring designs and found one he loved -- the one she stole from Oliver. Nick requested more like that dress for the just named Amber's Hot Line. Amber told him she could get more. In the hallway, Sally Spectra's photo asked her, "Knocking off Forrester originals?" Amber told Sally she'd return to her Spectra roots and would make her proud. She called Oliver and asked him to meet her at Bikini Beach.
At Bikini Beach, Katie and Bill dined with Hope and Liam. Hope informed Bill that this season's Hope for the Future is the best collection yet. To Hope's surprise, Oliver showed up at Bikini Beach with Amber. At the bar Amber ordered two kamikaze shots and offered to help Oliver take his mind off Hope. Amber eyed Hope across the room and planted a kiss on Oliver. He asked if she was trying to push Hope's buttons. Amber admitted that it's fun to mess with Hope but she also wanted to kiss him. Oliver left to make a call; Hope followed him outside and warned that Amber is nothing but trouble. Back at the bar, Amber checked Ollie's bag for more designs.
Tuesday
Ridge embraced Brooke, observing that something's on her mind. She flashed
back to her fight with Taylor and he warned her not to hold back, as he
always finds out. Brooke admitted she'd lost it and slapped Taylor. "Did you
have your filthy hands on him?" Ridge wondered, dryly. Brooke explained the
whole fight, mentioning Taylor and Rick's liaison and concluding that's
why Thomas was concerning Taylor so much. "She was really pushing my
buttons," Brooke sighed. Ridge was amused and weary about his two women's perpetual battles. He then dialed Taylor and put her on speaker. Brooke begrudgingly apologized. "Good job, ladies!" praised Ridge, after they played nice.
At Bikini Beach, Liam vented to Bill about Oliver and Hope. Outside, Oliver
stroked Hope's face and said he wanted more for her than a guy who would
grow to become just like Bill. Oliver then apologized for getting too
familiar and Hope said she doesn't want to lose him, as he's her best
friend. Well, Oliver wanted to be her boyfriend, but was content to enjoy
his thing with Amber in the meantime. Indoors, Amber rifled through his
unattended designs and then asked Brendon the bartender for a round of
kamikazes. Nearby, Rachel the waitress gave Hope some advice: "Nobody gets
between me and my man!" Hope came inside and assured the Spencer men
she was firmly on Team Liam. Bill suggested his son start training in Mixed
Martial Arts with him and Katie put forth the idea of a family trip. A
distracted Hope's attention was drawn to Amber and Oliver pounding drinks.
Then, Amber took a drunken Oliver home. When everyone caught Hope
woolgathering, she admitted she was worried about Oliver and Amber. Bill
muttered that Liam should've gone and "lit" Oliver up. Hope got huffy,
noting that she finds Liam "sexy as hell" and he doesn't need martial arts
or motorcross to make him a man. She stormed out. Back at Oliver's, Amber
poured them more drinks and they got to know each other better. Then they
had a makeout session! Amber cooled it before it got too hot and heavy,
eyeing his bag of designs. She got a call from Nick and assured him she was
"working on" her line. When Oliver passed out, she took cell phone camera
pics of all the Hope For the Future designs! "Sleep tight," she whispered,
covering Oliver with a blanket and leaving.
Wednesday
Eric, Brooke and Ridge brought Stephanie home from the hospital. Stephanie was not interested in an easy convalescence. She was raring to get on with her life...and her mission! She outlined her directive, pointing out that the homeless were fighting every day to survive and many were "worse off than I am." Eric told her they'd talk when he got home and urged her to get some rest. Once alone, Stephanie called Dayzee to find out where she is and told her to stay put so they could meet up. Then, Stephanie told a moved Brooke that "as long as there's no major screw up...I will admit that you are a member of my family." Stephanie praised her as being wonderful and someone who is like "a daughter who gives me a lot of gray hairs." Ridge looked on as his mom and his wife had a lovefest. Later, Ridge and Brooke hugged and Ridge got a text from Stephanie. She'd given them the slip and gone down to see Dayzee. Downtown, Stephanie met Dayzee at a homeless shelter, assuring her she's 100% committed to helping.
At Jackie M, Whip, Nick and Aggie admired the sexy, sensual lines of Amber's new design...not realizing it was a Forrester one! They hoped the rest of the line would be as impressive. Nearby, Amber got a call from Oliver, who apologized for dragging her into his drama the night before. She assured him it was no big thing — she'd gotten "plenty" out of the encounter. She offered to help him move on from Hope and "be more than a good friend." Hungover Oliver hung up and stared at the Hope For the Future drawings. Then, Hope came in, remarking upon the shape Oliver was in. "This isn't good for you," she observed, of him being holed up staring at pictures of her. "It's my job," he shrugged. "Maybe it shouldn't be," she countered, suggesting he take a leave of absence. Oliver refused to "bail" on her. Back at Jackie M, Taylor came by to see Whip. Taylor told a stunned Whip about Stephanie's operation and cancer diagnosis. Nick, too, reeled from the news. Taylor admitted she's worried about Stephanie having the strength to get through treatment. A bubbly Amber burst in, and Nick filled her in. Amber admitted her relationship with Stephanie is "complicated," and struggled to marshal her emotions. Then, Nick told her the new designs were "hot." Amber took this as yet another sign he approves of her shenanigans. Impressed, Nick told her he wants the fashion show to be next week. "You are going to steal the show!" he grinned, as she laughed. Back at Forrester, Eric told Hope how excited he is about the Hope For the Future line. They admired one of his drawings and Eric called it "one of a kind."
Thursday
A voice-over from Susan Flannery (Stephanie) declared this a very special episode of B&B, noting that none of the homeless people in the subsequent scenes in Skid Row are actors. All their stories are real. Then, viewers saw Stephanie and Dayzee preparing to speak to people at the shelter. Back uptown, Brooke explained to Taylor where Stephanie had gone off to. Taylor was mind-boggled! "You just allowed Stephanie to run off?" she gasped. Brooke was certain Stephanie would be safe, sharing some of the information that Dayzee had given her. "This is what she needs, Taylor. It's better than medicine," said Brooke. Taylor was impressed by her sensitivity and insight.
Back in Skid Row, Dayzee introduced Stephanie to Kevin, who runs the shelter, and he led them inside. Stephanie met a reverend who ministers at the mission, who explained the contributing factors to homelessness. Stephanie listened to several people relate their stories of how they'd ended up on
the street and gained a lot of perspective. B&B took the cameras all over Skid Row and even to the minister's congregation, where he preached hopeful messages. Stephanie heard about the positive things in the community and what people are doing to make things better. Energized and deeply moved, Stephanie told Dayzee she wants to learn everything she can so she can help.
Friday
A voiceover from Susan Flannery (Stephanie) noted that the visit to the
rescue mission in Skid Row is real, as are the people. Then, the scene moved to Stephanie and Dayzee discussing Dayzee's work. At the Forrester mansion, Pam came by with food for Stephanie and Brooke revealed that Stephanie was downtown with Dayzee. Brooke and Pam discussed the plight of the homeless and Dayzee's strength. Brooke noted that Stephanie's purpose would "keep her living for a very long time." Back at the mission, Stephanie got a tour and met some more people. Brooke called Stephanie's cell to check up on her and let her know that she and Pam are worried. Stephanie wasn't ready to leave! "Go back there and get her!" Pam pleaded, reminding Brooke that Steph just had major surgery. Brooke left for Skid Row.
Stephanie and Dayzee continued to explore the mission and speak to people who had lost their jobs and found themselves in hard times. Brooke arrived to see Stephanie volunteering in the cafeteria, serving food (complete with a hairnet). As the mission's keyboardist and singers began singing "Lean on Me," Brooke joined Stephanie behind the counter. They traded smiles. Stephanie flashed back on her remarkable journey to Skid Row, and then she and Brooke took in the whole scene around them.
