B&B Week of November 1, 2010
Monday
After helping the homeless, Stephanie relaxed at home. Eric was glad to see her taking some time off and gently chastised her for overexerting herself right after having had surgery. Still, she believed that it was worth it and told him about the fantastic people she'd met at the shelter. She asked that Eric join her sometime. He agreed and promised to support her in her quest.
At Jackie M, Nick called Amber and demanded to know where she was. She was at Insomnia and promised that she was working on her designs. He wanted her to "rip 'em off" right away. Oliver arrived and met up with Amber. She asked what was in his bag, but he didn't think she'd be interested in his work stuff. She replied that everything about him was interesting. Hope and Liam entered Insomnia and Hope was upset to see her ex with Amber. She suspected that Amber was up to something. After, Amber asked Ollie to get her a drink; when he stepped away, she began going through his bag. Liam and Hope watched, suspicious. Oliver returned and Hope and Liam approached their table. Hope invited them to join them for dinner, but Amber and Oliver turned them down. Hope asked how well they know each other, but Amber evaded the question. Oliver reminded Hope that she'd told him to move on. She feared that Amber was using him. Amber suggested that they go to his place so they could get away from Hope, and they left.
Nick visited Stephanie and was surprised to hear that she'd been spending time in Skid Row. She told him about the great people she'd met, including Dayzee.... Eric went to work at Forrester Creations and measured models for the next show. Dayzee joined him and he offered to take her on a tour. He thanked her for helping Stephanie and giving his wife a new purpose. He then showed her the "Hope For The Future" designs and she said that the outfits weren't practical. He admitted that people probably pay too much for high fashion, but was confident that the line would be a hit for them. Marcus entered and flirted with Dayzee. When Eric introduced Marcus as his son, she joked about there being a resemblance. Eric and Marcus explained how Eric had adopted him. Marcus was more than happy to give Dayzee the tour.... Later, Stephanie asked Nick if Amber really has what it takes to be his lead designer, but he was confident in Miss Moore. He promised to be there for Stephanie if she needed anything.
At Oliver's place, he had the Hope For The Future designs arranged on his table. He put them away, reminding Amber that she works for the competition. Amber tried to get to know him by asking him about his work. At Insomnia, Hope continued to admit to Liam that she had a bad feeling about Amber. She was determined to get to the bottom of it.... Oliver had some drinks while Amber asked him about his computer. He shared that it's very user-friendly. She then asked if he could get her a blanket. When he stepped away, she tried to log onto his computer. Oliver returned and wondered what she was up to.
Tuesday
At Oliver's, Amber tried to log onto his computer so she could look at the Hope For The Future designs. Amber lied that she was trying to put a "surprise" for him on his laptop. He smiled, intrigued, and she offered him a striptease. She then offered him some alcohol. She brought up Hope and he immediately became depressed. She suggested that he go upstairs and relax while she sees herself out, and he agreed. She was about to grab his laptop, but then he invited her up to his room. She quickly tried again to get onto his computer, but was interrupted by a phone call from Nick. She assured him that she was working on her "hot" designs. Oliver called out for her and she continue to try finding the right password. Ollie called for her again so she gave up and headed to his room. There, she was greeted by Oliver dressed like the Naked Cowboy! He sang her a little song, then grabbed her and tossed her onto the bed. Amber tried to stall him by asking him questions about his personal life, hoping to guess his password. In the process, he revealed that he was born in 1987. Amber hurried downstairs and plugged in the year, but that wasn't the right password.
Meanwhile, at Insomnia, Hope shared her suspicions of Amber with Liam. Liam wondered what the worst Amber could do was. "I don't know," Hope admitted. After, Liam said that while he wanted to cover Hope's show, he suspected that the Jackie M show would be the more "interesting" story. He said that he almost felt sorry for Amber because she was under a lot of pressure to put on a good show. Hope kissed her beau, calling Liam sweet. Still, she thought that Ollie deserved better than Amber and was sure that Amber was after something.
After Brooke returned from helping Stephanie at the homeless shelter, she told Ridge how wonderful her day had been. Ridge was pleased that she was being so supportive of Stephanie and hoped that their truce would stay intact. They discussed Thomas's men's line and Brooke believed that it would be a big hit. She hoped that the press conference would go well for her stepson. They then admired Hope's designs and wished that Nick had as much respect for Bridget's work. Just then, Bridget entered Ridge's office at Forrester Creations and lamented being let go at Jackie M. Ridge praised her designs and offered to show her Hope's collection. Bridget was impressed.
Later, Hope and Liam went to Oliver's beach house and hid outside in the bushes. They peered in the window and spied Amber trying to guess the password. Amber went back to his room to get more clues, taking the booze with her. Hope was upset that Amber was driving Oliver to drink.... In his room, Amber poured them both drinks and raised a toast to him. She then asked him what sports he plays and what kind of music he's into. However, nothing he was telling her about himself gave her a clue to the password. They kissed and he started to go on about how much he loves Hope. Amber pulled back and realization dawned on her. Oliver passed out; she went back downstairs and plugged "Hope" into the computer, but that didn't work. She tried "Hope Logan," and no dice; then tried using the numbers for the letters in Hope. That worked! Hope realized that Amber was breaking into his computer and stealing her designs. "She's not going to get away with it," Hope vowed. "I'm going to bring Amber down so hard — in my own way." Uh oh...
Wednesday
Today's episode was pre-empted due to the network's news coverage of President Obama's press conference.
Thursday
Brooke and Thomas were anxious for the premiere of his men's line. She was confident that he'd do well. Meantime, Hope told Liam that she was going to bring down Amber for stealing her designs. She barged into Ridge's office at Forrester Creations and stated that they needed to premiere the Hope For The Future line right away because of Amber. Thomas was upset, but Brooke and Ridge promised to make it up to him. Ridge railed against Nick to Brooke, but Brooke defended Marone.
At Jackie M, Nick and the gang were excited about Amber's line. She prayed to herself that they could show the line before FC did. Whip reluctantly congratulated her and she asked about his cousin Oliver. Amber believed that Oliver deserved someone better than Hope — and privately feared that Ollie would end up losing his job at FC because of her thievery.
Brooke called Nick and asked him to come to FC. Ridge didn't believe that he'd show. Brooke assured him that everything would be fine. Meanwhile, everyone, including Pam, hurried to pull together the show; outfits were sewn and jewelry arranged. Brooke regretted that Thomas felt pushed out of the spotlight, but Ridge shrugged that there was nothing they could do about it. Nick soon arrived and Ridge left them to talk alone. Brooke informed him that they're premiering Hope's line that day and invited Nick to attend the show. Downstairs, Ridge thanked everyone for making the impossible possible and pulling the show together in less than a day. He then announced that Thomas's line was going to be introduced, as well. Katie and Bill arrived and asked why the show was being held early; Eric explained that they just wanted to get a jump on the competition.... Liam gave Hope a kiss for good luck as Oliver watched, upset.... Nick joined Brooke at the show, but didn't understand why he was there. She replied that she just wanted to see his reaction.
Hope took the stage and thanked everyone for being there on such short notice. She added that the collection is unique and that they wouldn't see styles like it anywhere else, and credited Ridge and Eric for creating it.... Backstage, Pam showed the models her CATWALK strut.... Rick rolled his eyes at everyone.... Hope went backstage and informed Oliver that Amber used him to steal designs. Ollie was mortified, but relieved that Hope managed to save her family's company. He told her how wonderful she is and refused to give up on her. He then pulled her into a kiss.... Whip received a text from Nick about FC's fashion show and Amber freaked out.
Finally, the show began and a model walked down the runway wearing a filmy gray number. Nick noted that Amber seemed to have a "pulse" on trends because she'd also created a dress like that. The next model donned a slinky, blue, off-the-shoulder dress and Nick said that it looked familiar, too. He finally began to get a clue when the third model showed off a tight white mini-dress. "Oh my God," he whispered, realization washing over him.... At Jackie M, Whip, Aggie and Amber watched the show on TV. Aggie and Whip reamed her out for stealing the designs as Amber struggled to defend herself.
Friday
At the Forrester Creations fashion show, Nick realized that Amber had stolen the Hope For The Future designs. Meanwhile, Aggie and Whip reamed out Amber, who looked as if she were going to pass out. She wondered who'd discovered her thievery. Amber blamed Nick, reminding Aggie that Nick had called it "the hot line." Whip and Aggie wondered how she'd gotten the designs and Amber admitted that she got them through Oliver.... Nick insisted to Brooke that he didn't know about Amber stealing, and vowed to make Miss Moore pay. He called Whip and instructed him to send Amber to FC. Amber kept insisting that it was Nick's idea and hoped that he'd be able to put a spin on it. In the hallway of Jackie M, Sally's picture told her that she's made a royal mess of things (and how nice it was to hear a brief snippet of the late Darlene Conley's, ex-Sally, voice!).
Backstage at the show, Oliver kissed Hope. She reminded him that they're broken up, but he didn't care. Still, as the audience applauded, she agreed that they're a good team. Liam joined Hope and gave her a kiss before she went to present the show stopper.... Rick looked completely bored... Ridge, Thomas and Eric watched the show, anxious that everything was going according to plan.... Bill and Katie were impressed with the collection.
Hope went on stage dressed in the show stopper, which was a flowing white gown. Brooke, Liam and Oliver smiled proudly. Just then, Amber arrived. Oliver's face clouded over as he spotted her. Hope thanked the crowd for being there and apologized for deciding to show the collection at the last minute. Amber realized that she'd been duped. Nick grabbed her arm and dragged her into the hallway. Ridge acknowledged that Nick was unaware of Amber's actions and hoped that he'd hold her accountable. In the hallway, Amber stated that she was just doing what Nick had asked of her by stealing the designs. Nick was incredulous. "Steal the show does not mean steal the designs!" he shouted. Amber couldn't believe that he was going to let her take the heat for it; he promptly fired her.
Katie and Bill doubted that the press would stick around for Thomas's line. Bill suggested to Rick that he tell Brooke to "move it." Thomas asked Rick to let the reporters know that the show isn't over. "Aye, aye, captain," Rick snarked. Thomas confided in Whip that he didn't know how to compete with Hope. Whip advised him to do something big, like a stunt.... Eric and Ridge told Oliver that he wasn't going to lose his job, but is on probation. They warned him to stay away from Amber.... Thomas urged Jarrett and the press to stick around for a "major story." He then thought about what kind of stunt he could pull.... Nick apologized to Eric and Ridge for Amber's actions and revealed that he'd fired her.
Amber searched for Oliver in his office, but met up with Hope instead. Hope told her off for using Oliver and suggested that she leave town. "You haven't done a thing to earn your own line," Amber shot back. "I may have been knocked down, but I'll get back up." Liam arrived and asked her to leave and Amber angrily shoved past him. He then congratulated Hope, who felt badly for stealing Thomas's limelight.
Thomas lamented to Brooke that they were losing the press, but she was optimistic. He wanted to do something unforgettable on the runway and asked for her help in pulling off a stunt. She agreed, not entirely knowing what he had in mind other than the fact that people would be talking about it.
