Monday

Taylor looked over Ridge and Brooke's invalid marriage license. "This changes everything," exulted Stephanie — now Taylor could go after Ridge because he's not married. "Did Stephanie do this?" Taylor wanted to know. Typing was never Pam's forte, Stephanie shrugged. "It was an accident. Though there are no real accidents in life," smiled Stephanie, who agreed Taylor couldn't run to Ridge with the license now, or he'd just re-file. Steph predicted Rick would go after Steffy again, and Brooke would stick up for Rick again. "There will be a terrible fight," grinned Stephanie. That's when Taylor could swoop in, and Ridge would walk away from Brooke for good. The license was his ticket to freedom, "his ticket to you," explained Stephanie. She'd fight for Ridge if Rick continued to a problem, said Taylor. "And I'd win."

In the middle of a makeout session with Ridge, Brooke thanked her "husband" for his understanding. "There's nothing we can't survive," Ridge assured Brooke. Steffy showed up and Brooke gave her a hug, assuring her she did the right thing breaking off her engagement to Rick. After Brooke left, Ridge and Marcus warned Steffy to stay away from Rick. "Is he that much of a head case?" wondered Steffy.

Brooke found Rick, who said he wanted to talk to Steffy. He couldn't believe he said the horrible things he did, and blamed Ridge for baiting him. "I don't understand why you won't hold him accountable," he whined to his mother. Brooke let him have it. His relationship is over, hissed Brooke — her marriage is on the line. "Ridge and I aren't bullet-proof," Brooke warned. "Stay away from Ridge's daughter." Instead, shortly afterward, Rick interrupted Steffy daydreaming about him to show up at her door.

Owen and Jackie had to interrupt a steamy embrace for a meeting. Owen handles a lot of things very well, Jackie breathlessly told Bridge, Nick and Clarke, which is why she was promoting him to chief of staff. They usually discuss these things, said a suspicious Nick. Owen's talents are very rare, explained a disheveled Jackie. Oblivious Bridget congratulated Owen and suggested they celebrate over dinner. "Are you sure you want to do this?" Owen asked. Bridget answered him with a kiss ... which Jackie spied from her compact mirror. Alone with Jackie, Owen thanked her for the promotion, and the 30% raise. "You're going to earn every penny," said Jackie, adding that she saw him kissing Bridget. She gave a confused Owen her blessing for his dinner date. Bridget just wanted to make Nick jealous, Jackie suggested. Then she locked the door and pounced on Owen. "Your dating Bridget doesn't mean the end of us," she purred.

Tuesday

The Logan sisters discussed issuing press release for Forrester — people were wondering why Bridget and Stephanie are now working for the competition. How does Katie really feel about Bridget working with Nick? asked a concerned Donna. Bridget's focused on making a new life for herself, Brooke quickly assured Katie and Donna. Just look at the rock on her finger if she needed proof of Nick's commitment, Donna advised a worried Katie.

Nick found Bridget trying on bikinis at the office. She was getting ready for a date, Bridget smirked, then revealed Owen was the mystery man. "You gotta be kidding me," Nick frowned. Bridget teased her clearly jealous ex. "So, when are you and Auntie Katie getting married?" chirped Bridget. "He's been too busy working to get the company out of debt to focus on a wedding," growled Nick. Bridget sauntered out for her date in a sexy outfit.

Meanwhile, Owen was giving Jackie a steamy goodbye smooch at his place. He couldn't believe Jackie wasn't freaking out about his dinner with Bridget. He's never dated an older woman before, explained Jackie. "Good luck with Bridget tonight," she whispered, adding that Owen would need it — Bridget wasn't over Nick.

Soon after, Bridget showed up at Owen's with a salad. Wearing a Kiss the Cook apron (and not much else), Owen hit the grill. Afterward, Bridget planted a kiss on a receptive Owen.

Jackie found Nick at the office. "Bridget just went out on a date in a bikini," a grumpy Nick told his mother. Jackie asked if he sure his feelings for Bridget weren't keeping him from marrying Katie. Did he really want Owen running off with a woman meant for him? Later, Nick was daydreaming about Bridget when Brooke showed up to talk to him. She was worried about why Bridget would quit medicine to work at a design house with her ex-husband. What, or who, was holding him back from setting a wedding date with Katie? asked Brooke. Stay out of his personal life, ordered Nick. Nick still has feelings for Bridget, pointed out Brooke. If Bridget were to offer to take Nick back, he'd do it.

Wednesday

At Jackie M, Brooke suggested to Nick that the reason Nick hadn't set a wedding date with Katie was because he wanted another chance with Bridget. She's dating Owen, a clearly annoyed Nick informed Brooke. And of course he had feelings for Bridget — "You don't marry someone twice because you ran out of ideas," he said. Leave Bridget alone, ordered Brooke, who then stopped by Katie's, and found her sister rattled about Bridget working with Nick. She wants to trust Nick, said Katie, but if he was trustworthy he wouldn't be with her, would he? It's karma if Nick still wants Bridget, sighed Katie — she was getting what she deserved. But a pep talk from Brooke lifted her spirits. She wasn't going to give Nick up, vowed Katie.

Bridget and Owen made out at his place, but Bridget stopped things before they could go too far, explaining that she wasn't ready to have sex — she wanted to feel safe in a relationship first. Owen was understanding and let her go with a kiss. Jackie arrived soon after, not terribly surprised the evening had ended early. "Romance isn't compatible with heavy chewing," she said when Owen told her he'd grilled steak. Owen suggested Bridget didn't want to rush things because she cared about him; Jackie was convinced it was because she wasn't over Nick. The conversation ended with Owen unbuttoning Jackie's outfit.

Nick found Bridget post-date at the office and asked how her evening went. It was very nice, replied Bridget. But very short, noted Nick. Dinner doesn't mean spending the night, snapped Bridget. "You were the biggest thing that ever happened to me, and I would rather have someone shoot me than let you happen to me again," said a shaken Bridget. Why couldn't Nick just let her go? "Because you're the best thing that ever happened to me," Nick answered. Every now and then in life when you make a mistake you get a chance to say you're sorry, said Nick. He's said he's sorry a million times and he never meant it, replied a tearful Bridget. She trusted him, but he was just a little boy who wanted it all. "I just wasn't man enough," agreed a rueful Nick. He apologized again, tenderly kissing Bridget, and left.

Thursday

Thomas met up with Taylor at Forrester Creations and was anxious to come to work at the company. Thorne showed up and thought Thomas coming on board was a great idea. After Taylor and Thomas headed upstairs, Pam told Thorne that she wished Rick had been in his car when it was blown up.

Steffy joined Marcus, who was shooting hoops. She hoped they were still friends and acknowledged that she got caught up in a bad relationship with Rick. While they were throwing the basketball around, Marcus got the feeling that Steffy was still vulnerable to Rick but she insisted she was getting
over him. Marcus promised to always be there for Steffy, especially if she ever needed help making Rick back off. She said she could handle Rick and gave Marcus a grateful hug.

Eric held a staff meeting about how Stephanie's presence at Jackie M is already impacting sales at Forrester Creations. Katie suggested they grab some headlines of their own and asked for suggestions in accomplishing this. Rick said that he and Steffy were always a good team and that they could
meet to brainstorm but Brooke quickly shot down that idea. Ridge showed up and proposed that they show the world that the focus back is back on Forrester family "where it belongs." Everyone was surprised when Ridge opened the door so Taylor and Thomas could walk in. Ridge then announced it
was time to bring Thomas into the business and Eric agreed. Thomas declared that he wanted to be at the company with his family but Rick angrily said there was "no way in hell" he would allow it. Brooke agreed with her son and Eric wanted to know why she and Rick were so against the idea. Eric, Donna and Katie were called away for an emergency, giving Ridge, Taylor and Thomas the opportunity to face off with Brooke and Rick. "Our son has every right to be a part of this company," Taylor pointed out and Ridge assured that Thomas is no longer a threat. Brooke and Rick weren't placated. Ridge listed all the terrible things that Rick has done to the family but Brooke accused Taylor of using Ridge in order to get Ridge back.

Friday

"Thomas will not be working here at Forrester Creations," proclaimed Brooke and Rick totally agreed but Ridge and Taylor insisted their son wasn't a threat. Brooke continued to object and Ridge explained that "we have to restore confidence in Forrester Creations." Rick stormed out and Taylor insisted that Ridge not back down and not let the Logans take over. "Damn it, Taylor, just stay out of it," huffed Brooke. Ridge asked Thomas to step out of the room and once he did, Taylor argued that Brooke was so dead set
against Thomas working at Forrester because he was Taylor's son. "Rick works here, Thomas will too," Ridge declared.

"You're something else," praised Steffy to Marcus as they both agreed about being victims of Rick's machinations. Rick approached and asked to speak to Steffy alone. Marcus refused to leave at first but Steffy assured that she could "handle Rick." After Marcus reluctantly left, Rick claimed he needed closure and insisted that, no matter what he said or did, he still truly loves her. "I wanted to build a future with you," he noted but she pooh poohed his so-called good intentions. He begged for another chance but she said she "was not going back there." She tried to return his engagement ring but he refused to take it. "I was never really worthy of you," Rick summed up.

Ridge got called away to a meeting and Brooke and Taylor continued their argument about Thomas. Brooke accused Taylor of teaming up with Stephanie but Taylor insisted she simply wanted her son to have his rightful place in the company. She also pointed out how she and Ridge have been getting closer lately. A riled Brooke called Taylor "desperate" while Doc shot back with "clingy." When Brooke started throwing her wedding vows in Taylor's face, Taylor got fed up and yelled, "I've got news for you Brooke, there is no marriage!"
