As the tears rolled down Bridget's face, Jackie was stunned to realize Bridget and Owen had hooked up. Meanwhile, at Jackie M, Nick praised Owen for sticking by his mother and giving up the dream of kids. In fact, he wanted Owen to think of Bridget's child like it was his, too! Owen was touched by the offer but said it was best if he and Jackie "stick to the doting grandparents role." Back at Dr. Caspary's office, Bridget apologized and continued to cry, and Jackie whispered, "How could you do this? My own daughter-in-law?" Bridget explained it was just one night of grief. "My life was just over," she said of the "horror" and "shame" that overcame her. "Now I feel like my world is ending," choked out Jackie. Bridget tried to reassure her of Owen's love. "You may be carrying his child for God's sake!" Jackie snapped, before realizing that Owen already knew of the possibility. Bridget insisted the baby had to be Nick's because "fate wouldn't be that cruel." A tearful Jackie said Owen had to have loved Bridget just a little to have done this and that really hurt. She noted all of their futures — including that of Jackie M — were hanging in the balance. Bridget reiterated that Owen worships Jackie above everything else and insisted "it was my sin." All of this was breaking her heart and she swore she'd tell Nick the truth, no matter what the cost. Then, on cue, the doctor walked in with the paternity test results.
At Forrester, Stephanie urged Brooke to persuade Donna not to throw in with Bill and go after the company. "It's none of my business and none of yours!" Brooke claimed, noting Donna is still dealing with Beth's death. They then moved on to business, as Taylor brought up the subject of the Brooke's Bedroom needing a "second look." To Brooke's surprise, Taylor and Stephanie suggested a new spokesmodel for the line...and Steffy emerged in a daring bit of nothing! "Your father is not going to like this one bit," Brooke pointed out. Then, Stephanie had a revelation: Brooke and Steffy could walk down the runway together, side-by-side. Steffy didn't want to give up her PR job to flounce around in underwear and Brooke was definitely not interested in making a decision on the line that day.
Tuesday
"Your husband is not the father," revealed Dr. Caspary to Bridget. "There must be some mistake!" insisted Jackie. Nope. Bridget apologized to Jackie, saying Nick would probably leave her. Jackie realized that if he did, Owen would step in to care for Bridget and their baby. "I've ruined everything," cried Bridget. "Yes, you have," retorted Jackie. Bridget said she loves Jackie and respects her more than anyone she's ever met — it kills her to have hurt her. "You want to make this up to me?" asked Jackie. "Then you will do exactly as I tell you."
At Jackie M, Owen checked his phone, flashing back to his night of passion with Bridget. Aggie entered, and Nick said he wanted to talk to her. Aggie got nervous that her work wasn't up to par but Nick said it was personal. Owen tried to leave, but Nick said stay — he's family. "Bridget and I are going to have a baby," revealed Nick. "Bridget's pregnant?" stammered Aggie, glaring at Owen. Nick allowed that it was a shock. "How do you feel about it, Owen?" Aggie asked sarcastically. Nick rattled on about fate and things happening for a reason. "Fate, huh?" smirked Aggie.
Owen exited, flashing back to when he told Jackie he chose her over having a baby. He called Bridget, who asked him to meet her at her house.
Aggie asked Nick what kind of test Bridget was having. Genetic, he replied. A suspicious Aggie urged Nick to go surprise Bridget, but he said she made it very clear she wanted to be alone. Nick shared how much Owen wanted a child, but that his mother had nixed it, which was too bad. "Owen would make a great father," praised Nick. Nick asked Aggie if she was okay with Bridget's pregnancy. She said all she wants is for Nick to be happy.
Bridget announced to Jackie that she planned to tell everyone the truth. No, ordered Jackie. "My son finally has the life I have wanted for him. Nicky is the father, not Owen." Bridget cried that she can't lie anymore. "You betrayed me, Bridget," said Jackie. "Now you're going to fix it." Jackie explained that it's not worth risking both of their marriages on the chance that Bridget MIGHT deliver this child. Sometimes a woman has to keep a secret, like Jackie did keeping Nick's father from him. The truth came out eventually, reminded Bridget.
"Are you in love with my husband?" asked Jackie. "No!" sobbed Bridget. Jackie said she is not willing to lose her husband, and her son's sanity, because of Bridget. If Bridget really doesn't have feelings for Owen, then she will tell Owen that Nick is the father — and Jackie will eavesdrop to make sure Bridget does it. "Whose child is it?" hissed Jackie. "Nick's," whispered Bridget. Jackie made her repeat it. "That's right," asserted Jackie. "You believe it — and you take this secret to your grave."
Wednesday
Bridget told Jackie that Owen was on his way. "There is no reason to test your husband," asserted Bridget. Jackie disagreed, and hid upstairs to eavesdrop. "You know what you have to do," Jackie hissed. Owen arrived. He asked why Bridget wouldn't just give him the news on the phone. Bridget made Owen jump through hoops to admit their night together was wrong (for Jackie's benefit) and then lied to Owen that Nick was the father. "So I guess we just go back to our lives then," responded Owen, admitting he was disappointed. You don't mean that, argued Bridget. Owen yammered on about how he wished their night together never happened, Jackie deserved better, and they should go on as if it never happened. "I guess things turned out for the best," he said to Bridget. "You're giving my wife a grandchild. I can't tell you how much that means to her." Behind a door, Jackie exulted: "He loves me!"
Nick left a message for Bridget as Agnes entered. "Maybe she's involved in something too important to be disturbed," said Agnes cryptically. Nick and Aggie discussed Bridget's surprise pregnancy. He recalled how hopeless everything seemed when Aggie lost their baby and how everything has changed. Nick headed out to find his wife, leaving Aggie behind to roll her eyes knowingly. Oliver showed up to take Aggie to dinner and she relayed the news that Bridget is pregnant. They discussed the possibility that Bridget's genetic test was really a paternity test.
"This is a nightmare!" cried Bridget to Jackie as Nick entered. Jackie assured Nick the baby is fine, and asked Bridget to walk her to the car. Outside, Jackie made Bridget repeat their mantra. "Whose child is this?" "It's Nick's baby," sobbed Bridget. Bridget went back inside to a suspicious Nick. "You want to tell me what that was all about?"Jackie returned home to find Owen had lit candles all over the living room. "Did you have a tough day?" he asked. "You could say that," responded the cuckolded Jackie. She probed whether he regretted not being a daddy. Owen said no — he has Jackie: his lover, his best friend and the reason he is who he is. "The only woman I could ever love," he smiled. They embraced.
Bridget stammered to Nick that Jackie was just worried. Nick reminded her that they created this baby together and they love each other too much to have any secrets. He went upstairs to take a shower. Jackie phoned, and Bridget to see how the conversation went. "I told him the baby was his," said Bridget. "Good girl," praised Jackie. Nick came back downstairs asking if Bridget was scared. He took her in his arms, saying the baby was their miracle. "We're finally going to have exactly what we want," Nick beamed.
Thursday
Ridge and Brooke discussed Bill being after the company. "Even if there's a chance of that happening you need to call off your sister," ordered Ridge. "Your father should talk to Donna, not me," retorted Brooke. Eric entered, and chastised them: The only people who should be talking about his marriage are he and Donna. Brooke told Eric he was going to have to take sides between Stephanie and Donna if he wants his marriage to survive.
Donna flashed back to finding her mom dead in the pool. Bill reminded her that if it wasn't for Stephanie, her mother would be alive. He urged Donna to have Stephanie's role in Beth's death investigated, adding that Eric should prove he loves her by selling the Forrester mansion because it's where Beth died. Donna needs to set up a meeting with Eric, decreed Bill. Donna said she was not strong enough — would Bill help her? Bill called Eric and demanded a meeting.
Thorne asked Stephanie what's going on with Eric. She replied that she is more concerned about what's going on with Donna — Bill is pressuring her to go to the police.
Oliver blocked the office entrance with a clothing rack and told Hope he didn't want her father walking in on them. They looked like they were about to kiss, but watched the video of her instead. Hope worried that she was too nice, and that made her boring. Oliver assured her that's just who she is. "You really care about people and that's awesome," he praised.
Stephanie arrived at the office surprised to find Eric waiting for Donna and Bill. Wow, Bill is really pulling the strings, remarked Stephanie. Eric assured Stephanie she had no role in Beth's death and he would stand by her if Donna and Bill said otherwise. Donna and Bill arrived. Stephanie snarked to them that Eric won't let Donna bring her down and left. Brooke encouraged Donna to meet with Eric alone, but she insisted she needed Bill with her to "stay on track."
Donna told Eric she had three requests for the sake of their future and their marriage. 1) "I cannot live in that house where my mother died." Okay, we'll move, responded Eric. 2) "I don't want you working here with Stephanie; she is responsible for my mother's death." Hmmm, said Eric. 3) "I want a full investigation into my mother's death and I want Stephanie to take a lie detector test." That was too much for Ridge: "Bill is setting you up!" he yelled. Eric wondered if their marriage will be over if he doesn't do what Donna asks. "If you can't do these three things, then our marriage is not a priority," responded Donna. "I can't be your wife."
Friday
Donna repeated that she needs proof Eric loves her. He agreed to sell the house but said the police have already investigated Beth's death and he was not going to accuse Stephanie again. "If you're with her, you're not with me," pronounced Donna. Eric asked for time alone with his wife. He reiterated his belief that Beth's death was a terrible accident, but Donna said she can't have Stephanie be a part of her life. "I can't share you," she cried as she removed her wedding rings. "I'll always remember the smiles… I love you. Goodbye."
Outside, Pam talked to an exterminator about the "two-legged blonde cockroaches" bothering her. Stephanie and Steffy walked up, and then Ridge and Brooke approached. "What's wrong?" asked Steffy. "Your grandfather and Donna are ending their marriage," replied Ridge.
At Jackie M, Bridget flashed back to Jackie ordering her to keep the secret that Owen is her baby's father. Nick asked if she was upset. She blamed it on her fears that she won't be able to carry her pregnancy to term, adding that she left messages for her mom and dad to tell them the good news. Agnes, Oliver, Whip, Jackie and Owen entered. Nick shared the news that Bridget was pregnant, and Whip congratulated them. Owen quipped that he wants to be a handsome grandfather. "Consider this baby your own, Grandpa," replied a jovial Nick as Jackie and Bridget locked eyes.
Stephanie entered Eric's office as he stared at Donna's wedding rings. "Do you still love her?" she asked. Yes, he responded, adding that there is no future for them because Donna blames Stephanie for Beth's death. "I can't let that happen," said Eric. Steph exited to say goodbye to Donna. She apologized again for Beth's death, but Donna snarked that Stephanie went after her "poor, sick mother" and got everything she wanted. Stephanie pointed out that Donna lost Eric when she sided with Spencer in the takeover. "The company is back where it belongs. Don't you try to take it, or there will be so many skeletons dancing you won't know what happened to you." Donna retorted that she will never forget what Stephanie did to her mother.
Alone, Jackie reminded Bridget that she has to think of Nick as the father. Bridget worried that she won't be able to pull that off. "It's one lie after another for the rest of our lives," she rued. Jackie said Bridget has to pull it off. Nick walked in, remarking that he keeps finding his mother and his wife with their heads together. "Which one of you is going to tell me what's going on?" he asked.
Donna walked out of Forrester via the loading dock. Pam rounded the corner bragging that she has now gotten rid of all the pests at Forrester Creations. "Cockroach Katie, Beetle Bill, and now it's your turn," she said gleefully. "Take her up!" The panel Donna was standing on was revealed to be the back of the exterminator truck. The door closed, locking Donna inside with a bunch of caged vermin. She screamed.
Stephanie offered to come over and fix Eric dinner and a martini. "We'll call the kids," she smiled They reminisced about how all their memories together with their family are a gift. Steph thanked Eric for sticking up for her against Donna. Ridge and Brooke spied them embracing. "Matriarch and Patriarch reunited, while my family is in ruins," sighed Brooke. She left and Steffy approached her dad, asserting that her grandparents would soon be back together. Eric kissed Stephanie on the lips as Pam, Steffy and Ridge looked on. "Long live the Forresters," beamed Steffy.
