B&B Week of May 17, 2010

Monday

Whip fed Taylor ice cream in bed. Taylor remarked it was Steffy's favorite, reiterating that Steffy will not do anything crazy as a result of being removed from the campaign. Whip said Steffy is a strong woman but Taylor said she has been wounded. Steffy and Phoebe balanced each other out, but when her twin died, part of Steffy died too. There's a lot of residual hurt from Ridge leaving, rued Taylor. Whip praised his new stepdaughter's survival instincts and said she'll be fine.

"'Love' is a pretty big word," responded Brooke to Hope. Daughter confided to mother that Oliver really wanted something to happen tonight, but she wasn't ready. The setting was perfect - what's wrong with her? "Nothing is wrong with you," assured Brooke. Brooke said she and Ridge are proud of Hope. Hope and Brooke agreed that Steffy could do something drastic to get revenge on them. Brooke gushed about what a happy time it is for Hope, with her career and her new love. "Take it slow," she advised. "And treat yourself with respect."

At the beach house, Steffy climbed all over Oliver, urging him to take advantage of her offer. "How can you turn this down?" Oliver pushed her off, explaining, "I can't do this to Hope. I'm sorry." Steffy sneered that he needs to think about everything she has to offer — job, money, music for photo shoots, etc. — vs. what the Logan prom queen can give him. Oliver reviewed Steffy's plan, saying Ridge will come down on her hard if she ruins Hope's life. "I'm not going to be your pawn in your fight with the Logans." Oliver said he can see Steffy was hurt by Ridge walking out, but she is a woman who can move mountains and do anything. He urged Steffy to turn her passion to her work at Forrester Creations. She said she will — with his help: "We're hot together. It will be you and me, Logan-free."

Tuesday

Pam asked Steffy to spill all about what happened last night with her "cutie patootie." Steffy reported to Pam and Stephanie that she and Oliver kissed, but nothing else happened. However, she may be falling for him. That doesn't mean Steffy doesn't want to get rid of the Logans, but she may have to rethink her approach.

Hope brought Oliver his favorite cinnamon rolls and thanked him again for getting her through the press conference and understanding that she wasn't ready to have sex. Oliver confessed that Steffy showed up at his house last night, but he set her straight. He doesn't forgive Steffy for sabotaging the line, but thinks there is hope for her. "What exactly happened last night?" asked Hope. Nothing, he insisted. But he saw through Steffy's lingerie-clad exterior to the nice girl within; the girl Hope used to know. Oliver and Hope kissed as Rick entered. "Isn't there some rule against kissing the boss's daughter during work hours?" he asked. You should know big brother, retorted Hope, recalling Rick's prior relationship with Steffy. Steffy entered, sporting her requisite lingerie, and made a crack about how Hope must have felt like a "virgin" at her first photo shoot. Rick and Hope stepped outside as Steffy thanked Oliver for his sensitivity the night before. Hope eavesdropped.

"Talk to me," ordered Rick. Hope said she cares about Oliver but Steffy wants him, too. They reminisced about how Rick dated Steffy after Phoebe died, and that it wasn't smooth sailing, "She's different now," pronounced Rick. "She's tougher." Rick said he still sees the old twinkle in Steffy's eye sometimes, so Hope suggested Rick ask her out. Rick gets that Hope wants to protect her man from Steffy, but he doesn't want to revisit that. Hope fretted that she isn't ready to meet Oliver's "expectations" but Steffy is. Can't Rick distract his ex to help his baby sister?

Stephanie and Oliver watched Steffy's sexy lingerie shoot. "No more old and saggy," pronounced Stephanie after a conversation about how Brooke's reign as queen of the bedroom line is over. Privately, Stephanie worried that Steffy is biting off more than she can chew with her campaign to win Oliver on top of her issues with her father.

Steffy thanked Oliver again for listening to her and not judging her. "You deserve a great woman," she cooed as Hope watched. Oliver stammered that he had to go. Hope told Steffy she wants to stop acting like their mothers and be friends again. "That's a great strategy," snarked Steffy, adding that she knows Hope is just being nice to her because Hope can't compete with her. "Let the best woman win," sneered Steffy. "And since you're just a school girl, that woman will be me."

Wednesday

Hope and Steffy continued fighting over Oliver. Steffy said Hope can't compete with her because she doesn't know much about guys. If Steffy wants Oliver, Hope can't stop her.

Brooke and Taylor eyed Hope and Steffy's photo shoots and discussed their confidence in their respective daughters. Ridge entered, asking how the bedroom line shoot was going. "You didn't supervise?" asked Taylor. "Steffy modeling lingerie might be a tad uncomfortable," responded her dad.

Jackie reminded Bridget that she may not be able to carry her baby to term, so there is no point telling Nicky that it's Owen's. Nick and Owen entered to a tense conversation. "Is there a problem?" asked Nick. No! assured Jackie. Bridget blamed it on hormones. Whip and Agnes showed up for the next Cabana shoot. Jackie and Owen posed happily as Agnes, Whip, Bridget and Nick looked on. Agnes needled Bridget, saying she looked like she needs some air. Nick echoed Agnes's sentiment. Bridget nervously pooh-poohed them. Privately, Agnes asked Whip if he's noticed anything strange about Bridget. He cited her difficult pregnancy. Agnes vowed to get to the bottom of whatever is going on. Jackie scolded Bridget for letting her feelings show, saying all this tension is not good for the baby. Jackie reminded Bridget that keeping the secret is to protect the ones they love. Nick entered: "More tears? What is going on?" Jackie reminded Nick what an incredible gift Bridget is giving him, and told Owen that a woman can bring other blessings to a marriage, like companionship and excitement and adventure. "Both of you men are very fortunate to be married to women like us," pronounced Jackie. Bridget smiled weakly.

Brooke and Rick discussed Hope's love for Oliver and Steffy going after Oliver "sexually." Rick found Oliver at the gym and warned him not to hurt Hope or underestimate Steffy. "She can be trouble," said Steffy's former fiance.

Steffy gushed about Oliver to her parents. Ridge reminded Steffy that Oliver is dating Hope. "He's not available," said Ridge. Ridge understands that Steffy is upset with Hope and her mother, and he realizes it is his fault. Steffy said she likes Oliver. "Something real happened, and I'm not going to walk away," she asserted.

Hope relayed her conversation with Steffy to Brooke and vowed to do whatever it takes to hold on to Oliver. "Be the sweet girl Oliver fell for," advised Brooke, adding that if this is another one of Steffy's attempts to lash out at the Logans, "We Logans have to stick together."

Ridge praised Hope for her confidence at the sabotaged launch. Hope said Oliver saved her: "He's very good for me." You deserve it, smiled Ridge, adding that he doesn't want anybody getting in the way of Hope's happiness.

Brooke found Steffy and asked if her plan was to drive Hope out of the company thinking Brooke would follow. Does Steffy plan to flaunt her sexuality to get rid of Brooke? "Am I hearing things?" asked an incredulous Taylor. Brooke knows Steffy's plan is to "rid Forrester of all Logans." Steffy retorted that the Logan presence has ruined Forrester. Brooke turned to Taylor: Let's put an end to this for our children, she begged. Don't let this feud go on to another generation. Back to Steffy: "If you love your father, you will try to work with Hope. Open your heart." Brooke appealed to Taylor that the greatest gift she could give her daughter is to encourage them all to work together. "Let's end this feud today," urged Brooke.

Thursday

Bridget flashed back to her one-night stand with Owen. Nick entered — is she packed? Bridget admitted she forgot about their business trip to NY and then confessed she doesn't want to go. Jackie, Owen and Agnes asked what's wrong. Bridget is just a little tired. Jackie suggested Agnes go instead. Nick asked for a moment alone with his wife: What's up? Bridget lied that she is just worried about the baby. Nick said he won't go to NY. No, he's needed there. Is Bridget okay if he goes with Aggie? Sure.

Taylor and Ridge discussed how Steffy should respect Hope's relationship with Oliver. Steffy walked in — Enough! Hope and Oliver are not engaged. Hope is just infatuated, while Steffy has a real connection to Oliver. Ridge wants to protect both daughters and doesn't want another generation affected by the Logan-Forrester feud. Steffy doesn't care. She likes Oliver — hurting Hope is not her intention. Taylor said if he's free, go for it. Steffy remarked that they have more important things to talk about, like the need to show the European buyers that Forrester is back. Ridge needs to plan a fashion show, full of classic Forrester elegance with cocktail dresses and gowns. Good idea!

Oliver found Hope bent over and called her Brooke. Hope wheeled around: "Awkward!" He apologized, but Hope said she doesn't mind. Her mom is beautiful. Brooke entered, asking for a word with Oliver. "Where do things stand with you, Hope and Steffy?" Oliver said he's crazy about Hope and would never hurt her. Brooke said she knows what "almost happened" the other night and that Hope isn't ready for sex. There are so many other ways for them to get to know each other — go to the museum, the movies, take a trip to the zoo. Hope was mortified. "Are you ready for a trip to the zoo?" asked Oliver.

Hope and Oliver went to the zoo, where animals mated in front of them. They laughed — "good idea, mom!" Then they went to the movies and watched a sexy love scene. "No sex here!" Next up was the museum, where they enjoyed a painting called "Lovers." "Are they doing that standing up?" wondered Oliver.

Brooke interrupted Ridge's meeting with Taylor and Steffy to relay her sex conversation with Hope and Oliver. "Better you than me," shuddered Ridge. He agreed sex should wait as long as it's the kids she's talking about and not them. Ridge and Brooke started kissing. Hope and Oliver arrived to share their sex-infested experiences. All laughed as Brooke suggested the kids go home and jump in the pool. Ridge grabbed Brooke and said HE doesn't need to cool off. Hope popped back in, and was embarrassed by their PDA. "Sex is everywhere!" she rued.

Taylor told Steffy that Brooke might be right — she, too, is concerned about Steffy breaking up Hope and Oliver. "Brooke is just trying to protect the Logan legacy," snarked Steffy, adding that Forrester will be much better without Brooke.

Owen asked Bridget if they could talk privately. Why isn't she on cloud nine about her pregnancy? She said she can't forget what they did and how she betrayed her husband. Owen said the baby growing inside her will make her forget everything they did; it's a living legacy of her and Nick's love. Owen went on and on about how he will never be a father, but he can live vicariously through her and Nick. Her baby is a gift from God. He can't imagine how it would feel to be a father. "You are!" cried Bridget. "This baby is not Nick's." "I'm going to be a dad?" exulted Owen, embracing her. "This is the baby I've always wanted!"

Friday

"I'm the father?" stammered Owen. It's the child he's always wanted! Owen was shocked to learn that Jackie was with Bridget when she found out. Bridget continued: Jackie knows they cheated, and she's the one who ordered Bridget to lie. Bridget pointed out that the baby might not make it, and that's why she didn't tell Nick or Owen. "What are you saying?" asked Owen. "Are you hoping this baby doesn't make it?"

Hope posed for photos as Oliver and Brooke looked on, smiling, Steffy and Stephanie were not smiling. Brooke reminded Steffy that her father pulled her from the campaign, and she's not needed. Stephanie argued that Steffy's opinion is very valuable. Steffy whispered that the goal is no more Logans. Logan-free is music to Stephanie's ears. Steffy believes Oliver's "hunger for Hope" will play right into their hands, since Hope won't have sex with him.

Hope commented how excited the photographer seemed about the shoot. "Well, we pay her to be," snarked Steffy. Steffy needled Hope that Oliver's feeling are just lust, and when she turns him down, "That's where I come in."

Brooke spoke to her dad on the phone and reminded him they have a lunch date. Stephen tried to beg off, saying he's having a hard time dealing with Beth's loss. No backing out, decreed Brooke.

Brooke called Oliver in for a meeting and reminded him that Hope wants to wait to have sex. Steffy learned of their meeting and tried to eavesdrop, but found Brooke's office empty. Stephanie remarked that Brooke probably "absconded" with him. Steffy and Stephanie traded insults about the Logans until Brooke entered: "Stop putting pressure on my daughter!" she ordered. "Show some respect. Allow Hope to keep this relationship innocent." "And not follow in your footsteps?" snarked Stephanie. Lay off, demanded Brooke. Steffy said she will lay off on one condition: "Take your daughter and leave. I want a place I can be with my father without your constant interference." Steffy sneered that Katie and Donna are gone, and it's time for Brooke to go. They were interrupted with the news that Stephen was down at the loading dock — and he seemed out of it.

Bridget reassured Owen that she wants this baby and will fight for it, damn the consequences. She apologized for lying, but he noted how hard it must have been. Owen asked Bridget to stay positive and then "our baby will survive." Something beautiful happened that night — it's meant to be. He thanked her for telling him and said the goal now is keeping her healthy and positive. Owen will talk to Jackie. It's up to Bridget whether she tells Nick. Owen will stand by whatever decision she makes. "Thank you so much," she smiled, laying her head on his shoulder.

Oliver told Hope of his chat with Brooke, and how Brooke hopes he is serious. He wants to prove that to Hope, so they will wear matching necklaces of the Chinese symbol for hope. "It's beautiful," Hope beamed. "Just like you," he pronounced. Hope worried that Steffy is after Oliver, but he said all he thinks about is Hope. We can take our time with sex, he assured. When they do it, they won't have sex — they'll make love.

Brooke found Stephen wandering around the loading dock. She called to him and he approached her. Just then, a car wheeled around the corner and hit him.
