Bold and Beautiful Recaps

B&B Week of March 21, 2011

Monday

Ridge made it clear that Brooke and Thomas both work for him. Brooke objected to Ridge's plans to shut down Taboo. Thomas entered the office and Ridge said it was unacceptable that Thomas had an agenda that involved Brooke. Thomas accused Ridge of not knowing what his dreams were. "Brooke was the only one who truly believed in me. But the kiss was no big deal," Thomas insisted. Ridge said all was not forgiven.

Thomas and Dayzee kissed and she warned him not to go to war with Ridge. Thomas thought Ridge was ready to fire him. Thomas admitted he did something wrong but felt there was no lasting damage.

Liam stumbled in Bill's office and Jarrett showed up with a copy of a mysterious Forrester memo. "I don't think Taboo is supposed to exist," he said cryptically. Bill read the memo signed by Ridge Forrester and wondered if the news was out already. Had Ridge changed his mind about closing Taboo? Bill thought this would make a great cover story. Liam tried to convince Bill there wasn't enough of a story for the cover. Bill explained that Ridge had used the tabloids to exploit Taboo. "Well, it's a double-edged sword," Bill said with a gleam in his eye.

Brooke told Ridge to go to Paris and take as much time as he needed. "And you will forgive me," she said with a smile. "Taboo is no threat to you and Thomas is no threat to you and me," Brooke said convincingly. Ridge left and Brooke's eyes filled up with tears.

Tuesday

Thomas found Brooke at Forrester and apologized for causing her marital problems. She told him Ridge was on his way to Paris to settle a labor
dispute. Oliver arrived with Hope to take publicity pictures for Taboo.

Stephanie found Eric sketching and ranted about Thomas's latest Brooke buss.
Eric thought Stephanie was making too big a deal of the situation and
suggested she go home instead of browbeating him about Brooke. But after
hearing Stephanie out, Eric admitted they had a serious problem. He and
Stephanie went to have a talk with Thomas and Brooke, but to Stephanie's
dismay, instead of chastising them, he asked if he could work on the Taboo
women's line with them! After Eric left to show a delighted Thomas some
sketches, Stephanie expressed her deep disappointment in Brooke. She gave
Brooke her friendship and trust and love, and Brooke threw it away, accused
Stephanie. An emotional Brooke reminded Stephanie that she'd raised Thomas
and she loved him, and was not going to let Stephanie's paranoia ruin
Thomas's shot at success . He deserved to come out from behind his father's
shadow, Brooke declared. After, Brooke joined Thomas and Eric and raved over
Eric's sketches for the line. Thomas worried about what Ridge would say when
he got back. "We'll cross that bridge when we come to it," shrugged a
supportive Eric.

Taylor surprised Ridge as he prepared for his Paris flight and urged him to
stop letting Thomas manipulate him. The flight was ready to take off before
Taylor finished making her case, so she decided to fly to Paris, too. "You
said you weren't giving Brooke any more second chances," reminded Taylor.
Then she said she needed to be honest with Ridge: It was Whip who snapped
the incriminating photos of Brooke and Thomas. "Do you love him?" asked a
mildly disgusted Ridge. He's a great husband, hedged Taylor. Mid-air,
Stephanie Skyped Ridge to inform him about Brooke and Thomas's photo shoot.
"You can't stay married to someone with no moral compass," insisted
Stephanie. "Find Taylor, grab hold of her and don't let go," she advised.

Wednesday

Aboard the Forrester jet, Taylor continued to advise Ridge about Brooke, talking about how there was a "pattern" emerging. "How did everything get so
out of control?" Ridge mused. Taylor wondered if Brooke had "finally crossed
the line." She pointed out he'd have to keep moving the yardstick, over and
over. Hasn't he finally had enough?

At the cliff house, Amber tried to hurry her mother out, but Tawny was ready
to celebrate her — make that their — good fortune. Amber warned her
mom that Liam was on his way over, and Tawny was even more thrilled! She
wanted Amber to step up the seduction routine. After all, being pregnant had
never stopped her! Luckily for Amber, when Liam arrived, Tawny actually
left. Alone, Liam and Amber exchanged awkward pleasantries. At Spencer
Publications, Bill and Katie canoodled and Katie talked to Bill about
redoing the gorgeous new house he'd gotten them. "This is the perfect place
for us to build our lives together," she raved, hoping the Amber situation
would soon resolve itself. Bill had to walk a delicate line as Katie gushed
about his generosity. Later, Steffy arrived, teasing Bill about how he
planned to kill Amber now. She flirted shamelessly, sitting on his desk with
her legs on display. Amused, Bill cut to the chase and asked her about
Brooke and Thomas. He handed her the Taboo cancellation memo and she was
floored! "Something tells me there is a story behind them," he noted of
Thomas, Ridge and Brooke. Back at the cliff house, Liam continued to be
compassionate to Amber, who noted he was welcome to move in. Liam got all
flustered, pointing out they're not a couple, but agreed to at least come to
dinner. When he left, Amber jubilantly told Tawny she was throwing a party
for Liam, Oliver and Hope...which would make Hope realize she and the baby
were Liam's priority now. Back at Spencer Publications, Katie overheard
Steffy flirting with Bill. Worse than that, she heard Steffy talking about
Bill losing control...and Bill admitting he'd wanted Amber dead. Katie
walked in, stunned.

Thursday

Amber was insistent on having Oliver's help in getting in Hope's good
graces. He reluctantly agreed to bring Hope to Amber's for a dinner party
and pleaded with Hope to make things work out between the four of them. Liam
arrived at Amber's and was annoyed that she'd set up the party without
informing him. Amber claimed she just wants to make things more friendly;
Liam was worried. Amber poured everyone drinks and the tension between her
and Hope was palpable. Liam tried to explain he didn't have anything to do
with it. Amber mentioned picking out names for the baby, much to Hope's
chagrin.

At Spencer Publications, Katie confronted Bill and demanded to know what
happened with Amber. Bill admitted that he had every intention of pushing
her off the cliff, but he was just trying to protect his son. Katie as at a
loss about why he would take such drastic measures, pointing out that he
would've killed his own grandson had his plan worked. Bill apologized for
losing control and assured her that he loves her. They fought and simply
couldn't see eye to eye on the matter. Katie wanted to know every detail of
that day — and why he chose to confide in Steffy, of all people. He
explained that Steffy was there that night. Katie couldn't believe Bill was
trying to justify what he'd done just because he thinks Amber is a horrible
person. She was distraught; he was hopeful that they'd work past it.

Thomas showed a client the new Taboo line. After, Steffy confronted her
brother about what he did at the press conference. They called each other
out on their relationships with Brooke and Bill, questioning if what they
have is more than just lust. Steffy admitted she likes Bill's darker side
and that Kate's in denial about who her husband really is and made an aside
that after tonight, she'll never look at Bill the same again....

Friday

Bill tried to explain to a disgusted Katie that his desire to kill Amber came from an overwhelming impulse to protect his son. Most people don't
follow through with those kinds of fantasies, argued Katie. She could have
helped him take a step back, if he'd come to her ... instead of turning to
Steffy. "You have let her worm her way back into our lives," cried Katie
before walking out on him. As she drove away, Nick called her and could tell
she was upset. Katie said she needed a place to stay, so Nick invited her to
the Marlin. Donna showed up shortly after Katie did, to lend her sister
support. Maybe Bill is too dangerous for her, Katie admitted to Donna, and
confided how Bill had bought Amber the house so he could push her to her
death. Bill called just then, and when he pressed her to come home, Katie
told him she loves him, but needs time alone.

Steffy dropped in and found Bill alone, drink in hand. Realizing Katie had
left, Steffy wondered how Katie could not understand Bill's position.
Steffy's wrong about Katie, growled Bill, adding he never wanted to hear
Steffy say another negative work about his wife. "We get each other," purred
Steffy, adding, "Tell me how I can help you." He was going to wait for Katie
for as long as it takes, Bill declared.

Amber thanked Hope and Oliver for joining her and Liam for dinner. Hope lost
her appetite when Amber babbled about her baby's ultrasound. Hope got up to
leave, and Liam asked for a moment alone ... then planted a big kiss on
her. Liam tried to convince her to leave with him, but a tormented Hope
couldn't be convinced that they could make things work. As Amber watched
from her window with a satisfied smirk, Hope gave pulled herself away and
left with Oliver.
