Monday
A disillusioned Stephanie told Brooke things would never change; they
couldn't be friends anymore, because Brooke always betrayed people.
"Stephanie, please, don't do this!" Brooke begged, trying to defend herself
as Taylor took potshots. Stephanie warned her this mistake would really cost
her. In Ridge's office, he told Thomas he is canceling the Taboo line and
Thomas tried to talk him out of it. Thomas pointed out he's just like
Ridge...after all, hadn't Ridge kissed Brooke while she was married to Eric?
"Do you really want to go to war with me?" Thomas wondered. Ridge stood
firm, and Thomas urged him to quit listening to Taylor's "insane
psychobabble." They continued to argue as Thomas swore he had no feelings
for Brooke and dubbed their whole family a "little weird." Ridge just wasn't
having it and told Thomas he was sending out the memo canceling Taboo and
that was that! Alone, he instructed Madison to distribute the memo and
cancel the Taboo press conference. Meanwhile, Thomas lashed out at Taylor
and defended Brooke to his grandmother. Taylor thought the cancelation of
Taboo was for the best. Later, Madison found Thomas in his office, and he
told her not to send out the memo or cancel the conference.
Brooke told Stephanie and Taylor she'd kept quiet because Thomas asked her
to and acknowledged she'd made a mistake. She reminded Stephanie of how
close they'd grown. Stephanie went off about her "lack of self awareness"
and said Brooke let both her and Ridge down. Brooke insisted to her and
Taylor that Ridge loves her and "our marriage is stronger than it’s ever
been." Brooke went off to get a hug from Ridge, opening up about how much
losing Stephanie's friendship hurt her. She thanked Ridge for always having
her back and said they should just move forward. When Ridge told her they
were canceling the Taboo line, she was stunned! She begged him not to take
Taboo from Thomas.
Tuesday
Despite Brooke's objections, Ridge insisted that the Taboo line was
finished. Ridge considered Brooke a temptation to his son and said that
cancelling the line was for the best. Stephanie entered and warned Ridge to
keep an eye on Thomas. Brooke felt bad for Thomas and left to offer him her
support. Stephanie then blamed Brooke for ruining Ridge's relationship with
his son, and reminded Ridge of his pledge to leave Brooke if she ever caused
another scandal. Ridge insisted that Brooke was not a threat to Thomas.
At the office, Thomas told Madison that he'd make sure she didn't lose her
job for not cancelling the press conference. Later, Taylor arrived and
caught her son kissing a beautiful blonde, who excused herself. Taylor
wanted to make sure, "they were all good" after Ridge's proclamation. Thomas
was still miffed and accused his father of over-reacting. Thomas then said
he had something to tend to and left.
The gang gathered at the press conference: Eric, Thorne, Katie, Donna, Pam,
Oliver and Jarrett. Thorne admitted he had no idea what Thomas had planned.
Thomas arrived and teased the press about what was to come. Brooke showed up
and was flabbergasted that Thomas had ignored his father's orders.
Madison went to Ridge with the news of the press conference. Ridge,
Stephanie and Taylor headed down to the showroom.... Downstairs, Thomas
convinced Brooke to join him on-stage. Eric then announced his grandson.
Thomas and Brooke took the stage, where Thomas announced that Taboo was
expanding — and that there would be another European tour. "Taboo will be
everywhere," he beamed, just as Ridge entered and glared. "Nothing can stop
Taboo."
Wednesday
With Brooke at his side, Thomas held a press conference to announce that Taboo is alive and well. Stephanie, Ridge and Taylor watched in shock. Brooke was barraged with questions about the line and wasn't sure what to say. Thomas took over and stated that they're definitely going forward with the line. Another reporter asked if the campaign was too scandalous; Thomas and Brooke joked about it. Katie asked Brooke if she and Ridge are proud of Thomas and Brooke said that they were. Jarrett then asked how Thomas really feels about Brooke and he jokingly replied, "A seven, maybe an eight." Everyone laughed. Thomas added that a portion of each Taboo sale would be donated to the homeless and everyone applauded.
After the press conference, Ridge demanded that Thomas see him in his office.... Pam asked Donna how her honeymoon was. Donna replied that it went well. Pam then joked about Donna bringing honey bottles for Justin, which annoyed Donna. Katie noted that there was a weird vibe in the room and wondered what Stephanie and Taylor were discussing.... Steph was stunned by Thomas's defiance and suspected that Brooke was behind his behavior. Taylor actually didn't blame Brooke for once and said that she believed Thomas orchestrated it on his own.... Eric and Thorne basked in the praise of everyone at the conference.... Jarrett found a piece of paper on the floor in the hallway; it was a copy of memo saying that the line had been cancelled.
In his office, Ridge reamed out Brooke and Thomas for the press conference. Thomas explained that Brooke thought that he was announcing the end of Taboo. Ridge stated that he was trying to protect the family, but Thomas disagreed and replied that everyone was overreacting to the kiss. "I'm not in love with your wife," Thomas assured him and pleaded with Ridge not to take away his first big success. "You don't give the orders around here," Ridge bellowed. Brooke intervened and reminded Ridge that he would've done the exact same thing. "I'm not gonna let it go," Thomas said, adding that he was only doing what Ridge would've done at his age.
Later, Dayzee visited Thomas in his office. Thomas filled her in on his day and how he went up against his father. He gave her the entire story about Taylor finding out about the kiss. Dayzee understood why Ridge would be upset about the smooch and Thomas defended his actions. Dayzee was impressed when he shared his plan to donate the proceeds to the homeless. "It's something I learned from you," he told her. "I'm a better man because of you," he said and they kissed.... Meantime, Brooke tried to calm a livid Ridge, but he couldn't understand why she hadn't called off the press conference. "You never should've pulled the plug; we need Taboo," she argued and added that she was going to continue to promote it.... Stephanie believed that Ridge and Brooke's marriage was over.
