Monday

An upset Brooke was complaining to her dad about Beth's determination to
return to Paris "She's not going anywhere until she tells us what's going
on," Brooke vowed, but Stephen blamed himself for his ex-wife's odd
behavior.

Katie was shocked by her mother's medical condition. "We can get you help,"
Katie suggested but Beth explained her growing difficulty in telling
memories and dreams apart. Katie pointed out that there are breakthroughs in
dementia research but Beth insisted that she wouldn't become a burden to "my
daughters." Katie ran upstairs and summoned Brooke and Stephen but when they
returned to the living room, Beth was no longer there. "She's gone," Katie
declared then filled in Brooke and Stephen on Beth's health status. Brooke
and Stephen headed out to search for Beth and Katie stayed behind just in
case her mother returned.

"Your grandfather was amazing," Marcus marveled to Steffy and also expressed
his gratitude for her support. Marcus playfully announced he could read
minds and Steffy urged him to read hers. "I'm shocked, you naughty, naughty
girl," he teased and she decided he could read minds after all.

On her way to the airport, Beth stopped by Brooke's house and was let in by
the nanny. Beth wandered around the living room and gazed at a picture of
her children. "You've done well for yourself, Brooke," Beth said to herself.
Hope came in the room and Beth met her granddaughter for the first time. The
ladies had a cute chat and Beth drew Hope into a hug. "I don't ever want to
let you go," Beth sighed.

Tuesday

Brooke and Stephen were relieved to find Beth with Hope, who said she didn't
want her grandma to leave. Brooke seconded that sentiment. "You need your
family more than ever," she declared. "It's our turn to take care of you."
Stephen escorted Hope out of the room and Beth was affected when the little
girl said, "I love you, Grandma." Beth insisted she didn't want to cause
trouble for her kids and wanted to go back to Paris but Brooke refused to
let her mom take off. After an impassioned plea from Brooke, Beth was
visibly conflicted on what to do. Stephen returned and urged his ex to stay
in L.A.

Ridge complained to Phoebe about Brooke keeping quiet about Donna and
Marcus. Ridge became alarmed when Phoebe revealed that Steffy and Marcus are
getting close. "He seems nice," Phoebe observed, but her dad still pegged
Marcus as an opportunist. Meanwhile, Marcus asked Steffy on another date and
admitted to being nervous around her. "I get sweaty palms just looking at
you," he smiled. (Awwww, who wouldn't be flattered by that?) Those crazy
kids then made plans to go bowling.

Nick came home and Katie explained Beth's health problems. "She left as soon
as I turned my back," Katie whined. Bridget showed up and Katie repeated
Beth's woes, which got Bridget furrowing her brow with worry. Katie was
relieved when Brooke called with news that she found their mother. Dr.
Bridget offered to start researching a treatment for Beth's condition. Katie
went upstairs to lie down, but was depressed to see Bridget and Nick making
out.

Wednesday

The Logan sisters hoped that their mom will decide to stay in L.A. "She's
terrified," Katie noted and Brooke proposed they make a list on ways to
bring Beth's memories alive, like with family outings and traditions.

Beth started to get agitated by her fading memories. Stephen offered solace
but Beth announced she was going back to Paris. Stephen tried to talk her
out of her plans but she insisted, "My decision is final." The exes started
to squabble which brought their daughters running downstairs. They weren't
happy to learn of their mother's determination to leave and ganged up to
change her mind. Beth angrily lashed out. "Stop pushing me!" she screamed.
Katie tenderly explained the feelings she went through after receiving
Storm's heart but recovered because of her family's love. "You have to
choose to live," Katie urged and everyone concurred. Beth admitted she was
scared and that she wanted to be with her family. They all sobbed and
hugged.

A couple of Marcus's co-workers expressed their surprise that he was going
to stay in shipping and receiving despite his status as the founder's
stepson. Marcus assured he is happy with the department where he works. Rick
approached Marcus and welcomed him to the family.

Steffy chewed out Phoebe for tattling to their dad about Marcus. Phoebe
defended her actions and said that she knows what it's like to run afoul of
Ridge's disapproval towards a boyfriend (hello, Rick). "You don't want to go
there, Stef, trust me," Phoebe advised but Steffy sniffed that their dad
wasn't going to dictate who she can associate with and walked out. She
tracked down Marcus, who was concerned about Ridge's feelings towards him.
Steffy predicted that Marcus would "shake things up around here."

A stranger stood outside of Forrester Creations and marveled at Marcus's new
surroundings. He entered the premises and Marcus recognized him. The
stranger announced he is Owen Knight, private investigator, who made note of
Marcus's good fortune. "And to think, you owe it all to me," Owen smiled.

Thursday

While Nick and Bridget were making out downstairs, Brooke asked Katie about
her feelings towards Nick. "We shared some incredible moments," Katie shared
but a concerned Brooke wondered if she needed to worry about her daughter's
welfare. Katie assured that she would never go after Nick because she loves
Bridget too much. Brooke was then worried that her sister was in emotional
pain over Nick but Katie insisted she is happy for their niece.

Owen reminded Marcus that he put in a lot of effort to help his client track
down Donna. "Fate is sure smiling down on you," Owen pointed out and
appeared to be upset that Marcus didn't keep in touch about his good
fortune. Owen then asked for the $2,500 fee that Marcus owes plus a bonus.

Stephanie, Thorne and Felicia showed Eric an issue of a fashion magazine
that featured him, Donna and Marcus. The cover line "The Future Of
Forrester" irked Thorne and Felicia but they became even more riled that
their dad seemed unperturbed by the publicity. Stephanie asked to speak to
her ex alone and, once her spoiled kids left the room, she praised Eric for
accepting Marcus. However, Stephanie advised Eric not to push his other kids
away to focus on his new family.

Katie approached Nick and urged him make a commitment to Bridget. "No one
deserves it more than she does," Katie tearfully pointed out and Nick drew
her into a warm embrace.
