B&B Week of July 20, 2009

Monday

Brooke and Ridge kissed passionately in his office at Forrester and she asked him to hear her out about their love. Ridge told her he'd moved on; he'd had to move on. He'd promised to be there for Taylor and the kids and couldn't go back on it. "Oh, God, please don't tell me you're going to marry Taylor again," sighed Brooke. Ridge said it was too early to tell. Brooke insisted she'd made a mistake letting Ridge go and he asked her why she was dredging all this up. "You made it very clear that it was over," he
pointed out. "I gave in too easily," claimed Brooke, regretting "sending" him to Taylor. "What have I done?" Ridge hugged her as she wept bitter tears of regret, and Steffy witnessed the embrace. "Dad, please tell me you're not going back to Brooke!" she demanded. Ridge told her that Brooke was just going through a tough time and then asked Brooke for a moment alone with his daughter. Brooke went home to her place and angsted. The shoe was on the other foot for once as Steffy talked to Ridge about his relationship choices. "We need you," she told him, insisting Brooke would find another man and move on.

At Jackie M, Owen waved a headshot of Whip at Jackie, wondering who the new addition was. "He's our head of PR," Jackie informed her curious new hubby as they canoodled. Owen was surprised to hear that Whip had been married to Brooke, and he and Jackie realized Stephanie was up to something. In Stephanie's office, Whip and Steph caught up, complete with a Sally Spectra mention. Stephanie told Whip all about Brooke, Ridge and Taylor. "Can I, or anyone, come between Ridge and Brooke?" mused Whip. Stephanie told him this time Ridge and Brooke were really over and surmised that Whip's still in love with Brooke. Jackie overheard the discussion and, amused, called Stephanie out on hiring Whip for Brooke.

Later, a weepy, T-shirt and jeans-clad, Brooke opened the door to Whip. They talked about Ridge and Stephanie and Whip offered to be "very good company" for Brooke. He managed to put a smile on her face talking about wearing lingerie for her and then offered her his help. She insisted there was nothing anyone could do to help her. Hoping to convince her otherwise, he kissed her!

Tuesday

Steffy came home to Taylor's, clearly in a mood, and her perceptive shrink mom demanded the 411. Steffy told Taylor about seeing Brooke in Ridge's arms. Ridge walked in on the tail end of the tattling. Instead of getting jealous, Taylor noted that Brooke was a strong woman who'd find a way to get through losing Ridge. Ridge assured Taylor that she was stuck with him, and "Steffy and Thomas, too." Taylor noted their kids were mighty protective of
them, adding that they were planning a family karaoke night. Taylor talked about how she regretted letting Ridge go and could therefore understand why Brooke had similar regrets. But she wanted Ridge to have a fun, peaceful life, and was willing to do something "unorthodox" to make it happen. "I'm going to be the one doing the asking," she murmured. "Say yes, say you'll marry me." Ridge did a very impressive double take!

Whip pulled away from kissing Brooke, murmuring, "Was it as good for you as it was for me?" Brooke reacted with wide eyes. "How could you?" she gasped..."How could you know that this is what I need?" Whip was baffled as she touched his hand and said he'd stirred something inside her. "Take me upstairs." "Wow. Really?" he marveled. She grinned and shook her head. No, she was only kidding. After Whip laughed, impressed, the duo moved on to remarking on old times over glasses of wine and discussing Whip's new gig at Jackie M. Then, he kissed her hand, said "till next time" and left. Alone, Brooke went back to moping over Ridge. Then, Steffy dropped by to tell Brooke to leave her parents alone! She accused Brooke of torturing Ridge and wanted it to stop. "Let him be happy with my mom and my family," she begged, warning Brooke not to hurt her dad.

At Jackie M, Pam prattled on but Stephanie was all distracted. Pam realized her sister had pointed Whip at Brooke and cackled, delighted. Jokes about Pam's naughty Whip-related fantasies ensued, and Steph just hoped Whip would occupy Brooke until Ridge got married. Later, Whip came by to update Stephanie (and earn some flirting from Pam). He mentioned how he'd kissed Brooke but observed she was definitely not over Ridge. He told Stephanie not to expect miracles. Alone, Stephanie pondered what else she could do to keep Brooke at bay.

Wednesday

Taylor proposed to a gobsmacked Ridge, while Steffy warned Brooke away from her dad. "I can't give him up, Steffy. I can't and I won't," said Brooke. Back at Taylor's, she urged Ridge to "be a family again." He said, "yes!" and they embraced. Steffy again begged Brooke to "move on" and let her father go. Moving on is exactly what Ridge and Taylor were talking about. Ridge said he couldn't continue getting caught up in trauma and praised Taylor's strength. "Ridge, you're home. This is where you're belong," she said. Back at Brooke's, she moped alone until Katie showed up to comfort her. Meanwhile, Steffy came home and Taylor told her and Thomas the great news. The family missed Phoebe terribly at this key moment, and Taylor said she believed Phoebe had brought them back together. Alone, Brooke murmured that Ridge would come back to her.

At Jackie M, Whip pitched the gang a new campaign, saying they should peg the company around a fresh face. He suggested Bridget, who turned the idea down flat. She was a designer, not a model. Owen walked in and Jackie introduced him to Whip, who congratulated Owen on the "publicity stunt" that was their marriage. Owen didn't appreciate that. "He is the Zac Efron here at Jackie M," Clarke cracked, talking about how women swoon at Owen's feet. Whip turned the subject to Owen's missus, then, suggested Jackie herself be the face of the company. "On the prowl with Jackie M," Whip beamed, talking about how Jackie has everything going for her. On cue, he had some guys wheel in the infamous bath tub, noting that capitalizing on Jackie and Owen was money in the bank. Jackie loved the idea! Later, Owen showed Jackie into her office for a little private dress rehearsal with the bubble bath-filled tub. "UNdress rehearsal," corrected Jackie, divesting him of his shirt. Out in the hall, Nick made his opinions on Owen clear to Whip, who looked piqued by the info. Back inside, Jackie and Owen got soapy and frisky!

Thursday

Bright and early, Katie cajoled a mopey Brooke to come out with her, but Brooke still had Ridge on the brain. At Taylor's house, Stephanie walked in on Taylor, Ridge and the kids planning the wedding. "Hallelujah!" cheered Stephanie, hugging Taylor. Brooke, meanwhile, was certain Ridge would wake up and come back to her. Back at Casa Hayes-Forrester, they picked a wedding date: tomorrow! Alone with Stephanie, Ridge brought up telling Brooke about the marriage and Steph cautioned him: "Don't forget how much heartbreak and suffering she's caused you." Later, Brooke was all hopeful when Ridge showed up, but he dashed those hopes, telling her he's marrying Taylor. Stephanie assured Taylor and the kids Ridge wouldn't change his mind. "It's wrong, it's a mistake!" Brooke declared. "It's not too late, Ridge," she insisted. Ridge needed her to understand that "we didn't get here by accident." They went a few rounds as Brooke passionately implored him to return to her. "I always will be the love of your life," she said, drawing him into a kiss.

At Jackie M, the staff cheered rising sales and Jackie and Owen on the cover of Eye on Fashion. Whip was mighty pleased by the image of the "powerful woman with the to die for husband" and wanted to "turn the heat up on Forrester Creations and the entire fashion industry." Jackie was ready to go for it! Whip introduced her to their new campaign: Indulge. Whip even brought in some extra boytoys as props for the latest photo shoot. Owen, Clark and Pam could only look on with a mix of bemusement and shock. Jackie thought it sounded like fun! She camped and vamped it up for the ensuing shoot. After the first set of pics, Jackie convinced an uncomfortable Owen to join her for the subsequent photos and crazy set-ups. Afterwards, Owen took note of Whip's admiration of Jackie. Then, Whip watched Owen and Jackie canoodle with a clear note of envy.

Friday

Brooke pulled back from kissing Ridge, urging him to admit he felt the connection between them. Thomas and Steffy paced, wondering where Ridge was and Taylor tried to get them to calm down. Thomas and Steffy tried to call Ridge but he'd left his phone at home. Taylor started telling them about how she and Ridge fell in love...complete with a flashback to St. Thomas! Back at Brooke's, Ridge told her, "I love you, but I'm going to marry Taylor." At Chez Hayes-Forrester, they touched on Taylor's returns from the dead. "You came home, and so will he," surmised Thomas. Brooke tried to convince Ridge he was making a mistake and he refused to walk away from the family he'd rebuilt with Taylor and the kids. "Let me be happy," he begged, asking her to stay away from him. She tried, again, to get through to him but he kissed her goodbye and walked out the door. Later, Katie came home and found Brooke all mopey-weepy again; she was shocked to hear the news of Ridge and Taylor's marriage and urged Brooke to try calling Ridge. Ridge came home and promised the family he wasn't going anywhere. As he got some air, Thomas and Steffy intercepted a text from Brooke. It was impassioned, insisting she'd get Ridge back, and included a photo of their second beach wedding. The kids were baffled. So much for staying away. They promptly texted Brooke back. "I asked you to respect me and respect my decision. Our marriage is over," Brooke read aloud to Katie. Meanwhile, out on the balcony of Taylor's house, Ridge talked about the suddenness of their marriage plans...and then presented her with a ring to do it the right way! She was moved to tears and then they rushed in to show the kids the giant rock. Steffy promptly took a photo with Ridge's phone, deleted Brooke's next
Nick came home to Bridget sketching designs in bed, bearing a present for their one month marriage anniversary: their wedding album! Of course, it took Bridget several hints to realize it was their anniversary. They flipped through the photos, talking about Jackie M. Bridget admitted she does miss being a doctor. "You can play doctor with me anytime you like," teased Nick as they got frisky. After a bout of lovemaking, Nick gifted Bridget with gorgeous diamond earrings. "Let's not get married anymore...and I'll take a raise," she purred.
