B&B Week of January 24, 2011
Monday
Marcus took Dayzee to the guest house and invited her to crash there anytime. He told her how special his night had been and she agreed. He shared that this was the first time he'd celebrated his biological dad's birthday. They then talked about how her stealing Stephanie's scarf had led to Steph fighting for the homeless. Later, they shared a passionate kiss.
Meanwhile, Justin and Donna enjoyed a romantic dinner at the beach. They discussed his friendship with Bill and she thought that it said a lot about Justin's character, given that Bill trusts him. They then talked about Marcus and agreed that they're proud of their son. Soon, Marcus sent Justin a "Happy Birthday" text. Justin was pleased and noted that Dayzee was a good influence on Marcus. Donna apologized for keeping Marcus from his dad. She became emotional as she confided that she'd never stopped thinking about her baby. Justin noted that Marcus now has both of his parents in his life and they should concentrate on creating new memories. They looked through the album filled with Marcus's old pictures and remembered the early days of their relationship. She felt badly for having broken things off so suddenly. Justin shrugged that they could make up for lost time now. "I want the family that we started back then," she stated. "I'm hoping that you want the same thing." Donna then declared her love for Justin and asked for a second chance. Justin replied that he loves her, too, and wants the same thing. She later got down on one knee and asked him to marry her! He said yes and they kissed.
On the Shady Marlin, Stephanie implored Nick to quit smoking, but he didn't think he could do it. Nick didn't want to argue with her, but she persisted and noted that he could end up leaving Jack without a father. Nick agreed to cut back, but that wasn't good enough for Stephanie. She was sure that he was strong enough to quit and promised to support him. Jack joined them and Nick promised Stephanie that he'd quit. She left so he could spend some time alone with his son. Jack asked why Steph and Nick both seemed to be worried. Nick insisted that he was fine and proved it by making silly faces. He promised Jack that he'd be there for him, for a long time. Later, Nick tossed his cigars overboard.
Tuesday
Stephanie and Nick met for lunch. He pointed out that he's chewing nicotine gum so that he could quit smoking cigars. Steph thought that it would take more than gum to get him to stop. Nick was more confident that he could do it. "I'm Nick Marone, I make things happen," he shrugged. He then thanked her for being so concerned for him. Stephanie again pointed out that he's going to be facing a lot of temptations, but believed that he could quit in the long run. "You're a very good friend," he stated. "I'd like to have you around for quite a while," she replied. After she left, he chewed another piece of gum, but became edgy as he eyed a couple smoking. He grabbed a cigar and asked the man for a light — and ended up smoking. Stephanie returned and caught him in the act.
Justin went to Bill's office and thanked his pal for throwing him a birthday party. Justin then informed Bill that he and Donna are engaged. Bill was shocked, but pleased for his friend. Justin lamented that he hadn't gotten Donna an engagement ring so Bill called over an associate who showed Barber his ring collection. Justin spied an exquisite stone and declared that to be "the one." He couldn't wait to give it to Donna.
Donna asked Katie and Brooke to meet with her at the beach house. A giddy Donna gave them the news of her engagement. Her sisters were thrilled and squealed with delight. Donna then filled them in on the romantic details. "Justin, Marcus and I are going to be a family," she said happily. Katie and Brooke asked to see the ring and Donna admitted that she'd been the one to do the proposing. Later, Justin came by and shared a hug with the sisters. Brooke and Katie were about to make themselves scarce, but he asked them to stick around. Justin then told Donna how much he loved her and he presented her with the ring. Donna wept with joy.
Wednesday
At work, Thomas admired Brooke's outfit, but she was uncomfortable with his praise. She admitted that she was still feeling awkward about Thomas kissing her on the plane and felt that she should say something to Ridge. Thomas asked her to continue keeping it quiet and assured her that it meant nothing.... Summer arrived at Forrester Creations and told Madison that she had a date with Thomas. An annoyed Madison pretended to be happy for her. After, Madison barged into Thomas's office and accused him of two-timing her with Summer. He shrugged that he and Madison had never talked about being exclusive and apologized for leading her on. She agreed to continue dating him. Later, Brooke suggested that she and Thomas stop working together because it was unhealthy. He didn't want the Taboo line to fall apart. Brooke reminded him that she's his stepmother and that certain lines couldn't be crossed.
Owen and Jackie made out at Jackie M, but were interrupted when Stephanie stopped by. Steph asked to speak with Jackie alone about a "project" and asked for her friend's help. Meanwhile, Nick told Owen about his plan to stop smoking. Owen wished him luck and revealed that Stephanie was at the office. Nick realized that Stephanie was up to something. Stephanie told Jackie about the spot on Nick's lung. A frightened Jackie asked what that meant and Steph explained that he had to change his lifestyle. Nick barged in and was angry with Stephanie for blabbing to Jackie. Jackie feared that he could end up getting cancer. Nick assured her that he's fine, but Stephanie and Jackie implored him to quit smoking. He insisted that he's been trying to, though it's been difficult. Steph didn't think that he was taking it seriously enough; Nick demanded that she back off. Stephanie and Jackie refused to back down. Stephanie warned that Jack could be affected by second-hand smoke. Nick vowed to quit, but they wouldn't let up. Jackie noted that quitting is easier when you have the support of loved ones. He thanked them, but asked them to trust him and let him do his own thing.
Thursday
A pregnant Amber moved into Tawny's trailer, which was filled with cats. Amber was horrified. Tawny reminded her that she could use her pregnancy to land the wealthy Liam. Amber broke down over what her life has become, but Tawny was optimistic that she'd pick herself back up. Amber noted that there was no way that she could pretend her child is Liam's. Later, Tawny introduced her daughter to her friend, Carl, a lab assistant who could change the paternity test. Amber didn't think it would work, but Carl believed that he was up to the challenge. "This is your one chance to give your baby a decent life," Tawny told Amber.
At Spencer Publications, Hope and Liam snuggled and enjoyed some time together. Later, Amber called Liam and asked to speak with him. Amber still wasn't sure that she was doing the right thing, but Tawny encouraged her to go forward with their plan.
Donna gave Marcus the good news about her engagement to Justin. Marcus was thrilled at the idea of them being a family. "This has been a long time coming," he told them. Just then, Stephen came by and announced that he's also engaged ... to Pam! Donna's mouth fell open. Pam joined them and suggested that they have a double wedding. Donna reminded her dad of everything that Pam has done to her. Pam asked to have a moment alone with Donna. Donna told her that she's never going to accept Pam as her father's wife and didn't want Pam at her wedding. She didn't think that Stephanie would approve, either. Pam tried to be Donna's friend, but Donna listed all of the things that Pam did to her — like try to have a bear kill her. Pam argued that she'd been ill when she'd done those things and begged Donna to let her attend Donna and Justin's wedding.
Friday
At Tawny's cat-filled trailer, Tawny implored a pregnant Amber to name Liam as her baby's father. Carl, the lab assistant, was sure that he could switch the tests and make it happen. Amber was very torn about going through with this plan, but Tawny believed that she should put her unborn child's needs first. Meanwhile, at Spencer Publications, Liam and Hope wondered what Amber wanted to discuss. Hope feared that Amber was out to get revenge on her. Liam still couldn't remember what had happened during the night he'd spent with Amber. Still, he didn't believe that they'd had sex. Later, Amber made her way to Spencer and announced that she's pregnant with his child.
At the beach house, Donna was not happy to hear that Stephen and Pam are engaged. Brooke and Katie joined them and Stephen gave them his news. Brooke and Katie were also not joyous about this. Brooke asked Stephanie to come over, to Pam's chagrin, but Stephen didn't think that they had anything to hide. Soon, Steph arrived and Pam declared her love for Stephen. Stephanie was surprised to learn that their relationship was so serious, while Brooke urged them to slow things down. Stephen replied that they don't want to. Katie suggested that they plan Donna's wedding instead and didn't think that Pam should be on the guest list. Stephen reminded them that their mother is dead, but added that he's found love again and wants Pam there. "We are good for each other," he told them, "and she loves me." Stephanie brought up the Logan/Forrester feud. "Love has a way of conquering hate," Stephen answered, pointing out that Brooke and Steph have forgiven one another. He requested that they put their differences aside. Pam assured her sister that she doesn't have to worry about her. "I've found my soul mate," Pam said to everyone. "Please, tell me that you can accept that." Donna relented and said that all she wants is for her dad to be happy. Katie agreed. Brooke and Stephanie went in the adjacent room to discuss the situation. Steph feared that Pam and Stephen marrying would be a disaster, but Brooke thought that their families coming together could end up being a good thing.
