Monday
Bill approached Amber from behind, ready to push off her the balcony. He stopped in his tracks when Steffy showed up, wondering if Amber and Bill had become "friendly." Bill explained that Amber would be staying there because she was homeless. When Steffy asked about Liam, Bill said he didn't know if there would be a full recovery. Amber entered the house and Steffy sensed something was odd, but congratulated Amber on her pregnancy. When Amber accused Steffy of having the hots for Bill, Steffy said she had quite an imagination.
Home from her honeymoon, Donna visited Katie in her office. Katie told her sister about Liam's accident. The doctor reported that Liam's recovery wasn't what he'd hoped, suggested traumatized Liam undergo counseling. Bill insisted Liam didn't need a shrink, then told a stunned Kate he was letting Amber stay at the Malibu house. "It's a done deal. I am handling the situation," he said angrily. Katie wondered what her husband was up to.
Marcus had a welcome back kiss for Dayzee in the coffee house. He wanted to fly her to Paris for a few days. It was awkward when talk turned to Thomas. Marcus called Thomas over and said Dayzee wasn't available. Thomas pointed out that that was for Dayzee to decide.
Brooke entered the bedroom in sexy lingerie and she and Ridge made love.
Tuesday
Thomas was headed for San Franscisco, to drop off some dresses for a charity ball. Ridge teased him about wanting to rush back for Dayzee and they had a little talk about Thomas and Dayzee's budding relationship. Ridge suggested Thomas take her with him on the jet. Thomas noted Dayzee wasn't into superficial things and him throwing his money around. Ridge explained that he wants Thomas to show Dayzee who he really is, and how the fashion world can do a lot of good. At the caf, Dayzee was floored to realize that Marcus was competing with Thomas over her. "I don't need to be swept off my feet...I like them where they are, firmly planted on the ground," she said. Marcus asked her to come back to Paris with him for a visit. She was tempted but dubbed it a "fantasy" and turned him down. Fresh off Ridge's pep talk, Thomas dialed Dayzee and told her that he was sending a taxi to pick her up. At the airfield, Pam and Thomas talked over various arrangements. Then, later, Dayzee boarded the plane to find it decorated with daisies. Thomas asked her to go to San Francisco with him, saying he'd have her home by midnight. He then swept her into a kiss!
At the Forrester Sky Lounge, Taylor came to catch up with Steffy. Steffy's mom wanted to know what in her personal life was energizing her so much! Taylor guessed this mystery person was Liam or Oliver and Steffy said she was interested in a man, not a boy: Bill Spencer! And his being married was not an issue to her. "This time Bill Spencer's going to pursue me," she grinned, pointing out that if his and Katie's marriage was solid, there was no reason for anyone to panic. Then, the topic turned to Stephanie's dependence on Brooke and Dayzee. "It's absurd!" claimed Steffy. Later, Ridge caught up with his daughter and his ex. When Steffy learned Thomas was taking Dayzee to this high profile event she had put all her energy behind, she was not
Wednesday
Thomas cajoled Dayzee into going to San Francisco with him. In the air, he offered her a can of beer and she made fun of him for ironing his jeans. For food, he brought out sandwiches from the caf. He chased that with a confession that he kissed Brooke on this very same jet. Dayzee was taken aback but they managed to laugh about Thomas' ladykilling ways. Then, he showed her the gowns for the ball. Dayzee boggled at the cost of such high-end dresses but also admired their beauty.
At the cliffside house, Amber was getting freaked out by all the noises and the general creepiness. She went to answer the door with a fireplace poker in hand and a very amused Marcus laughed hysterically. Marcus checked out her new pad, noting she's doing well for herself. Marcus was also looking for a little hanky panky...and reassurance that her baby was indeed Liam's. Amber sidestepped his questions, talking about how alone and isolated she was at the house. Then, she shut down Marcus' attempts at getting amorous. Elsewhere, Bill, Katie and Hope brought a woozy Liam home. Liam wondered if they should curtail scandal by telling the world about Amber now. Bill put the kibosh on that. Then, everyone reeled with shock learning Bill had ensconced Amber in the new beach house. Bill seemed to stew with his head full of thoughts as Hope and Katie hovered over Liam. Hope asked Liam if he really thought what had happened to him was accidental. Liam was then struck by shooting pain, which made Bill again fantasize about tossing Amber off the lookout. Alone with his father, Liam talked about how he wakes up in cold sweats and his head hurts. "I'm tied to Amber for the rest of my life...and there's nothing anyone can do!" he bemoaned. Bill swore he wouldn't let anything happen to Liam. Back at the cliff house, Amber went out to the lookout to get cell reception...and Bill watched her.
Thursday
Amber called Steffy to let her know that she'd left her purse at the house, and Steffy bragged about her interest in Bill...which Brooke overheard. "Katie and Bill are happily married," reminded Brooke, warning Steffy off her sister and her sister's husband. Brooke wanted to keep the peace between the Forresters and Logans, but Steffy dismissed the truce. Steffy tried to explain her rationale, shrugging that there was no harm in putting Bill and Katie's marriage to the test. "Just stop it!" cried Brooke, asserting she was "back to your same old ways." Steffy ignored her warnings and left to retrieve her purse from the cliff house.
Bill continued to lurk at the cliff house, as Amber grew increasingly rattled by the wind and noise. At the other beach house, Katie and Hope wondered where Bill had gone and Liam figured it had something to do with Amber. As the three talked, Liam continued to feel dizzy...and a bit snippy. Katie admitted she couldn't figure out why Bill had let Amber live in their new house. She hoped he had no ulterior motive and was sure he was fighting "the urge to take things into his own hands." Alone, Liam and Hope cuddled and had a serious heart to heart. Liam didn't want to drag her into the mess that his life has become. He suggested they go their separate ways "for now." Goodbye didn't have to be forever! They exchanged teary I love you's and kisses. Outside, Bill kept having flashbacks and visions. He eventually let himself into the house and dug around in the purse he found on the couch. He then took the cell phone and left it out on the lookout's ledge. He called it so Amber would go out looking for it. Once she was out there, he advanced on her menacingly...and a branch fell from a tree and knocked Amber over the ledge! As Steffy approached, Bill told her to leave and ran off. Steffy found the phone, peered over the lookout, and gasped!
Friday
Steffy peered over the lookout ledge and saw Amber hanging on for dear life.
Steffy struggled to pull her up and over. Inside the house, a freaked out
Amber and Steffy tried to process what had happened. Amber surmised that a
branch had broken off and hit her (which was correct) but Steffy flashed to
a darker reason. Amber hugged Steffy and thanked her for saving her life.
Then, Steffy left to meet Bill. Bill returned to Spencer Publications, where
he poured himself a drink and sat in the dark. He left Steffy a message to
meet him right away. But it was Donna who showed up, looking for Katie and
confused as to why he was brooding with the lights off. She tried to get
through to him, to no avail. Then, Steffy showed up. Bill told her to close
the door and tried to explain his odd behavior at the beach, describing what
happened as a "terrible accident" and telling Steffy that Amber is dead from
a fall on his property. "Why didn't you call for help?" Steffy boggled. Bill
said Amber couldn't have survived and the press frenzy would've been insane.
"That's why I kept quiet," he said. "I made the right decision." Steffy said
she couldn't cover for him and accused him of pushing Amber. "I did not
touch her!" Bill swore.
At Forrester, Ridge did his designer thing as Oliver took shots of “the
designer in action.” Oliver asked Ridge about Hope. Meanwhile, a
shell-shocked Hope was in the hallway, flashing back on the good times with
Liam. She turned and walked out. Later, Brooke came into Ridge’s office for
a kiss and a confab...which was interrupted by Hope, telling them she and
Liam broke up. "She ruined everything!" Hope said of Amber. "Amber has some
seriously bad karma coming her way." Brooke and Ridge wondered why Bill had
put Amber up in a house on the beach. Hope said he was probably
trying to "accept the situation...like we all have to." She assured her
parents she was okay and Brooke gave her a big hug. Alone, Ridge and Brooke
were grateful for what they have together.
