Monday
At the hospital, Liam opened his eyes for a moment, but then slipped back into a coma. Bill was devastated. Meanwhile, Amber waited in the hospital lobby all night for word on Liam’s condition. Bill was furious when he saw her. He called the police to have her arrested for attempted murder, but after the cop spoke with Amber, he ruled that the trailer explosion was an accident. Bill wasn’t appeased.
Katie went to Brooke’s and tearfully gave her sister and Hope the news about Liam. Hope hurried to the hospital, while Brooke feared what all of this drama would do to her little girl. At the hospital, Amber sneaked into Liam’s room and kept vigil by his bed. Hope arrived and demanded to know what she was doing there; Amber reminded her that she’s pregnant with Liam’s child. Hope demanded that she leave; she then sat with Liam and begged him to wake up.
Bill called Nick and asked if he and Katie could purchase the Malibu cliffside home as soon as possible. Nick agreed and the men met there to go over the details of the deal. Nick reminded Bill how high up they were and warned that a previous owner’s wife had fallen off the overlook. Bill imagined Amber plummeting off said overlook to her death.
Tuesday
Brooke and Ridge quizzed Thomas about his latest love interest, but he wasn't eager to give them the details. Brooke was happy to see him into a woman other than her.... At Dayzee's, Stephanie and Dayzee did some work around the coffeehouse. Steffy arrived and happily greeted her grandmother. Stephanie introduced Steffy to her new friend. Stephanie invited Dayzee to join them, but she turned her down, explaining that she had somewhere to be. Steffy then asked what was going on in her grandmother's life and Stephanie looked around happily. "This," she stated. "It's the best thing that ever happened to me."... Dayzee soon arrived to meet Thomas and found that he'd set up a romantic dinner for them. Brooke and Ridge went upstairs to give him privacy, but wondered who the young woman was. Thomas showed Dayzee the shirts he'd made for the coffeehouse and she approved of the tie-dyed designs. She then looked at the table and was uncomfortable with him serving her "seduction" food. He offered to take her out, but she agreed to stay for dinner when he shared that he was cooking them steaks. Later, they enjoyed their dinner and Thomas told Dayzee that he's never met anyone like her. Dayzee became a little unnerved by the attention, but Thomas didn't care and gave her a long, lingering kiss. He kissed her again and this time, she melted into it.
Stephanie introduced Steffy to some of the regulars at Dayzee's. Steffy asked how much money Stephanie is losing by letting the patrons pay what they can, then wanted to know about Stephanie's new friendships with Brooke and Dayzee. Steffy was offended that it had been Dayzee who'd gotten Stephanie to seek treatments rather than her family. Steffy didn't understand her grandmother's new take on life, but Stephanie explained that she was doing something that made her happy.
Upstairs, Ridge and Brooke continued to discuss Thomas's new romance. Brooke then shared her concerns about Steffy being back and didn't think that Steffy would approve of her friendship with Stephanie. Later, Brooke stepped outside the bedroom and spied Thomas and Dayzee's smooch.
Wednesday
Brooke smiled when she caught Thomas and Dayzee kissing. She returned to her room and breathlessly filled in Ridge on who Thomas's "mystery woman" is. "Way to go, son," Ridge said and Brooke agreed that Dayzee is "wonderful." He believed that Dayzee is the type of woman who could handle a man and recalled that he'd thought the same thing when he'd first seen Brooke, years ago. They reminisced about how they were so different when they began dating back then. "Are you bored with me?" Brooke asked. "I never know what the hell you're going to do next," Ridge cracked.... Downstairs, Thomas questioned Dayzee about her relationship with Marcus. She replied that they're good friends and have agreed to see other people. Still, she feared that Thomas just viewed her as a novelty. Thomas insisted that he's genuinely interested in her. Later, Dayzee shared some details of her past, noting that she bounced from family to family. She didn't think that anyone could get close to her. She asked why Thomas likes fashion and he replied that he cares about how people look and how clothes could say something about a person. Dayzee was impressed with his passion for his work and kissed him again.
Amber went to Dayzee's coffeehouse and admitted to Stephanie that she's having financial difficulties and is homeless. She then filled in Stephanie on her "liaison" with Liam and how she's pregnant. Steph didn't believe it, but Amber shared that Bill's physician had her do the DNA test. "I am having Liam's baby," Amber crowed. Stephanie asked how Liam was doing and warned that Amber doesn't want to get on Bill's bad side. She also didn't understand why Amber wastes all of her time scheming and manipulating people.
Bill went online and read stories about people falling off cliffs. He again imagined Amber plummeting off the cliff by his Malibu home. The detective arrived at Spencer Publications and suggested that Bill sue Amber for civil action. Bill was disappointed that no evidence was found to put Amber in jail for attempted murder. Soon, Steffy paid him a visit and asked if he'd missed her. "No," he replied. "Liar," she joked, but he told her that he wasn't in the mood to play around. He admitted that he's contemplating a murder and told her about his problems with Amber. Steffy didn't want to believe that he was serious, but he was. "She is going to pay," he seethed. "Go home; cuddle with your wife," a concerned Steffy urged before heading out.
Bill called Amber and asked to see her. "I've done some soul searching and have something for you," he lied and asked her to meet him at the Malibu estate. Amber soon arrived at the home; when she knocked on the door, no one answered, so she let herself in and called out a greeting. She jumped when she spied Bill standing in a dark corner. "What is this place?" she asked. "This is quite a location; the view is to die for," he replied. Uh oh...
Thursday
Amber asked Bill why he wanted to meet her at the Malibu home. She complained that the place was creepy. "Does anyone know you came out here?" he asked, explaining that this meeting was about the "situation" that put Liam in the hospital. Amber tried to get away, but Bill blocked her. He accused her of targeting Liam and again stated that he wanted to take care of the situation. Amber's eyes widened in terror, but Bill surprised her when he offered her the home. He explained that he wanted her to stay there during the pregnancy. She was thrilled, but when she turned away, Bill gave her a long, angry stare.
Hope sat with a comatose Liam. Dr. Montgomery reported that there was no change in his condition and suggested that Hope go home. She insisted on staying with Liam until he woke up. She held his hand. All of a sudden, he opened his eyes and stroked her hair. Hope was overjoyed. Liam asked what happened and Hope filled him in on the accident at Amber's trailer. Dr. Montgomery examined him and warned that Liam might feel dizzy or have a headache. After, Liam asked how Amber is doing and Hope assured him that Amber and the baby are fine. She then told him how Bill believes that Amber is out to destroy Liam. He felt badly that Hope had been sitting in the hospital, especially since Amber was pregnant with his child, but Hope promised that they'd deal with everything together. "You could have died; I could have lost you forever," Hope noted. She also shared how much Bill cared for him. Liam was touched and hoped he could make it up to his dad.
At Jackie M, Nick asked Jackie if she'd seen Owen. Both she and Owen crawled out from under her desk, embarrassed. "What can I do for you?" Owen asked. "You can start by buttoning your shirt," Nick replied, annoyed. Jackie feared that her son would start smoking again, but Nick assured her that this wasn't going to set him off. Owen and Jackie headed for the sauna.... Oliver arrived and Nick quizzed him about his love life. Oliver admitted that he was still hung up on Hope. Nick advised the young man to not give up on her.
Amber lamented that the home was a little small and requested WiFi and satellite TV. She then asked if there was a catch. Bill insisted that there was no catch and suggested she take a "leap of faith." He agreed to let her move in right away. "You need to be taken care of," he said. "Are you just setting me up for a fall?" she wondered. Ha! Bill denied it and offered to give her a tour of the grounds, including the lookout. Amber admitted that she's afraid of heights. Before leaving, he wished her a good night, but to himself he whispered an ominous, "Tomorrow."
Friday
At Forrester Creations, a frantic Steffy barked orders at the staff, imploring them to work more quickly. Brooke entered the office and asked if they could talk; Steffy told her to make an appointment, but Brooke refused. Steffy admitted that she has concerns about Brooke's influence at FC. Brooke replied that she and Stephanie have forged a great relationship and they'd like to keep it that way. Steffy wanted to be a leader; Brooke suggested that she stop her contentious behavior. Steffy didn't think they'd ever see eye-to-eye. Brooke urged Steffy to respect her and Hope; Steffy answered that she would if Hope did well at her job. Oliver entered and Steffy asked if he was still in love with Hope. Ollie said that his feelings were kind of personal and asked how Liam was doing. After he left, Steffy stated that he was a better match for Hope. Brooke asked if she wanted to make a play for Liam; Steffy eyed a photo of Bill and said that she prefers men to boys. Brooke asked for a name, but Steffy evaded the question by bashing the Logans.
A happy Hope, Bill and Katie joined an awake Liam in the hospital. Bill asked if he was in pain, but Liam assured him that he was fine. He was anxious to return to work, but Bill told him to concentrate on getting well. He promised to straighten out the mess with Amber. "How are you gonna do that?" Liam asked. Dr. Montgomery entered and Liam asked if he could go home. He got out of bed to show them that he was in good shape, but quickly passed out. Montgomery helped Liam back into bed and Liam admitted that he's still feeling dizzy. Bill assured him that he'd be okay eventually and blamed Amber for his problems. Before heading out, Bill made Liam promise that he wouldn't leave the bed. Katie asked where he was going and Bill explained that he was going to deal with their "situation." Later, Katie told Liam how upset Bill was at him being injured and let him know how much Bill loves him... Liam was surprised when Oliver paid him a visit and called him "buddy." Liam suspected that Ollie was waiting for something to go wrong between him and Hope.
A gleeful Amber toured the Malibu home, unable to believe that she was actually living there. She held up the doctored paternity test results and celebrated being rich. After, she cleaned up around the home and fixed herself a snack. Bill soon arrived — without knocking — and she thanked him for letting her stay there. She asked what Liam and Katie thought about her being there and he said that they didn't know about the arrangement. Bill noted that he doesn't think of her as carrying his grandchild. Amber wasn't fazed and went on about how there's no way around it. She added that there's no reason that Liam and Hope can't stay together. "Tragedies happen in life," Bill shrugged and offered to take her on the tour of the grounds. A giggly Amber followed him outside as he showed her the lookout. She took a photo of the gorgeous, gorgeous views, but became nervous as she looked over the edge. He encouraged her to lean further over the rail so she could see Catalina. She rambled on about what she was seeing as he slowly came up behind her ... And the scene faded to black! Talk about a literal cliffhanger...
