Bold and Beautiful Recaps
B&B Week of August 27, 2007 Recaps
Monday
"I think Phoebe should do the honors," said Constantine and handed the
envelope to her. Phoebe announced the winning results: Constantine and
Phoebe. A disappointed Rick good-naturedly clapped (but not too
enthusiastically), then exited the stage so Constantine and Phoebe could
perform their duet. Once the song was over and met with thunderous applause,
Phoebe spied Rick watching forlornly from the wings. Phoebe
started warbling their duet, which compelled Rick to came out and sing with
her. When they finished, Phoebe proclaimed, "I love you" and they kissed
passionately while the audience cheered.
Eric and Thorne were shocked when an angry Donna blasted Stephanie for
pushing Ridge to file for permanent custody. "Brooke is unstable," Steph
pointed out, but Donna asked that the Logans and the Forresters make peace
for the sake of the children. La Forrester laughed and Thorne was peeved by
his mother's response. "She's asking for reconciliation, Mother," he argued;
Stephanie wanted no part of it.
Rick and Phoebe ran back to the beach house. "I couldn't let you go," she
admitted. "I'm so sorry for the way I treated you." Rick was elated that
they had another chance to be together and they started making out. Rick
then tried to put on the brakes because he wanted to make love to Phoebe.
She responded by continuing with their smooching and they sank back on the
sofa.
Rattled by Stephanie's visit, Brooke was upset even further when Ridge
showed up; concerned why she didn't attend the Boldface concert. "She's
finally turned you against me," Brooke groused about his manipulative mama.
Ridge pointed out that Brooke hadn't been herself, but she wailed that she
was trying to get her life together. Ridge then asked the identity of the
man she was photographed with in the newspaper photo. She reacted with more
anger and pain. After
some prodding, an emotional Brooke finally whimpered, "I was raped."
Tuesday
After learning about her rape, Ridge tried to comfort a distraught Brooke.
"I don't want to talk about it," she insisted. "It was horrible and
terrifying." Ridge assured that Brooke was, "safe" with him and took her in
his arms. Ridge was shocked when Brooke said she wouldn't press charges
because she didn't want to jeopardize her children's custody. Ridge vowed to
find Andy and make him pay, but Brooke cried that she just wanted her babies
back. Ridge assured that she would get her children back — after he
makes
"that scum" pay. Ridge then headed over to Caf Russe and
waited for Andy to show up. When he arrived, both men locked eyes.
Stephanie and Ashley praised Eric for his fashion designs. "These are his
best designs in years," Steph lauded. Meanwhile, Nick looked over Clarke's
newest sketches. "They stink!" proclaimed Nick but Clarke blamed Brooke for
not being at work during "crunch time." Nick defended her absence. After
Clarke returned to the drawing board, Jackie vocalized her concerns that
they won't be able to compete on the runway with Eric's line. Nick couldn't
help but agree. "We need a new angle," he decided.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Rick asked Phoebe between kisses. She
admitted that she has been unfair to him by continually sending mixed
signals. "We're in completely different places in our lives," Phoebe
lamented and revealed that she wasn't ready to surrender her virginity just
yet. She kissed Rick again (yep, mixed signals) and dashed out.
Eric signed paperwork for another business loan. When the banker said it was
the last one they could offer, Stephanie huffed that they have been doing
business for years. The banker strongly advised the Forresters to pay off
their expensive chain of boutiques and Steph indignantly announced that
Eric's newest collection would put them back on top. After the banker
left, Stephanie started bad-mouthing Brooke and her cavorting with this
"Andy Johnson fellow." Ashley wondered how Steph knew the guy's name since
it wasn't in the paper. La Forrester claimed she must've heard it somewhere.
Wednesday
As Stephanie and Eric looked over his stunning designs, Thorne showed up
with Donna, who happily showed her future in-laws a sample wedding
invitation. Stephanie blew her top upon reading that the ceremony was taking
place in her house. "Absolutely not!" she raged, but Eric gave his okay.
When
Thorne noticed that the date was left blank, he announced they could get
married next week, which further angered Stephanie. Donna then turned on the
tears. "I don't understand why she's so hostile," she sobbed; Steph
deemed her "histrionics" pointless. Eric insisted the wedding would take
place in his house and stormed out. A blissful Donna hugged Thorne while
Stephanie
grimaced.
Nick brainstormed with Jackie and Nick for ideas to beat Forrester
Originals. Brooke called Nick to say she couldn't come into the office
again, which concerned Jackie and Storm. Nick then pointed out that he paid
a lot of money for the Forrester name and considered suing the Forresters
for still using it. Eric called and urged Nick to sell back Forrester
Creations because Marone was obviously in way over his head. "I'm giving you
the opportunity to bow out gracefully," Eric offered, but Nick turned him
down.
Bridget and her suitcase showed up at Brooke's house, where the young lady
announced she would stay with her mother as long as needed. Brooke informed
her daughter that she told Ridge about the rape and that he was "so kind and
caring." Bridget was thrilled to hear that Ridge is going to make sure that
Hope and R.J. are returned to Brooke, who also confirmed that she's going
to press charges against her attacker. "I will destroy him the same way he
tried to destroy me," Brooke seethed, then smashed the birdcage Andy gave
her into smithereens.
Upon seeing Ridge, Andy bolted from the Caf Russe, then dashed up the
stairs to the rooftop. Ridge gave chase and cornered the jerk. Ridge
declared that he would make sure that Andy would be deposited behind bars
for a long time. "Just try to nail me ... it'll be the worst mistake of your
life," Andy hissed, then taunted Ridge that Brooke "pawed me like an
animal." When Ridge lunged forward, Andy grabbed an electrified antenna and
menacingly waved it. The cad then revealed that he knew where to find the
key to Brooke's house because he had an accomplice clueing him in.
Thursday
Andy flashed Brooke's house key at Ridge, who demanded to know the identity
of his accomplice. "I had the time of my life and I'm not going to pay for
it," sneered Andy. Just as he was about to reveal who helped him, a security
guard showed up. Andy was startled, stumbled back and was painfully
electrocuted to death.
Thorne tried to avoid his mother at the office, but Stephanie once again
attempted to talk him out of marrying Donna. "She's not the right woman for
you," Stephanie insisted, so a fed-up Thorne stalked away.
Donna was thrilled to open her door and find her little sister Katie, who
announced she came for the wedding. Katie voiced her surprise that Donna was
marrying Thorne after everything Stephanie has put the Logans through. Donna
assured she loved Thorne very much. Donna had to run out so Katie was alone
when Stephanie showed up and immediately declared her extreme disapproval
over the upcoming wedding. Katie advised Steph to welcome Donna into the
family; that advice didn't go over too well.
Rick told Ashley that Phoebe dumped him "for good this time." Ash still
thought that Rick and Phoebe were meant to be together, but he wasn't
heartened by the comment. As they discussed business, Rick couldn't help but
to flashback to their hot trysts in Paris…. Brooke wondered out loud to
Bridget that Andy knew too many private details about her. Ridge returned
and explained to Brooke that Andy is dead and will never be a threat to her
again. Ridge showed the house key Andy found under the flowerpot and Brooke
asked how the sicko knew where to find it. Ridge said that Andy admitted to
having an accomplice. "What sick, malicious person would do something like
that?" Brooke gasped. Ridge lamented that Andy died before he confessed.
Ridge vowed to find out who aided Andy and proclaimed that he would always
be on Brooke’s side "no matter what." He then kissed her, not a passionate
smooch, but it was a lingering one, all the same.
Friday
Hope and R.J. asked Stephanie if they could see their mother because they
miss her. They ran to the door when there was a knock, hoping it was Brooke,
but it was Ashley and Abby. The kids went upstairs to find their tennis
equipment. Ash asked Steph if she knows where Ridge could be. Stephanie said
she doesn't think Brooke will be able to forgive Ridge for suing for full
custody of her kids. Meanwhile, Ridge was busy serving Brooke breakfast in
bed. Ashley called Ridge and said she assumed he had fallen asleep at his
desk, but he informed her he was with Brooke and couldn't talk. Once he
left, Brooke was thrilled to see Katie at her door. She told her sister that
Ridge decided to return the kids to her. Katie asked why security on the
estate had been increased. Brooke brushed it off and told her she's just
happy she's there.
Ridge told Hope and R.J. he was taking them home to their mother for good.
They were thrilled. Felicia warned Ridge to call Steph and let her know his
plan. He left his mother a message that he's taking the kids back to their
mother and not suing Brooke for custody. Ridge arrived at Brooke's house
with Hope and R.J. In slow motion, the kids ran to hug their mommy. "My
sweet, precious, wonderful babies," she cried with joy. Hope asked if they
had been sent away because she started the fire. Hope and Ridge told the two
little ones that they belong with their mom and they won't be separated
again. Ridge sent them to the kitchen for a treat. He told Brooke that he
will find the person who helped Andy hurt her —and he will make that
person
pay.
Ashley returned to Stephanie's, who filled her in on Ridge's actions. Steph
tried to assure Ash that she is Ridge's future. Alone, Stephanie was shocked
to see the newspaper article about Andy's death.
Nick and Jackie discussed suing Forrester for trademark infringement, and
Taylor overheard. "You're suing the Forresters over their name?" she asked.
Nick told her not to worry about it and concentrate on taking care of their
unborn child. Taylor expressed her extreme sexual desire and they had sex on
a desk.
