B&B Week of August 24, 2009
Monday
As Owen was nibbling on his wife's neck, Jackie felt guilty for her indiscretion with Whip. Owen declared that he would talk to Whip so that the fashion world will know how he truly feels about Jackie. She quickly went to her office, where Whip apologized for his behavior. Jackie asked Whip to keep his distance from her because she was planning to confess everything to Owen.
As the bikini-clad Logan sisters prepared for their next photo shoot, Donna blabbed to Brooke that Katie has the hots for Bill. Katie defended her crush but Brooke warned her little sister to be careful. Eric came out in king drag (crown and red plush cape) and the photo shoot began. Later, there was a set-up with just the girls but Katie was distracted when Bill showed up. Eric asked Spencer if he was about to "pull the rug out" from Forrester Creations. Bill admitted that his focus has "shifted" to someone else. Bill explained that he would be unbiased about Forrester Creations from now on; Eric couldn't understand the new attitude. He got the picture when Katie walked over and kissed Bill.
Nick fumed when he saw a TV report about Jackie being humiliated by her husband. When Owen showed up, Nick attacked him and Jackie had to intervene. She quickly explained how her husband's twin brother subbed in for the interview and said those terrible things. Whip called Owen away and Jackie confessed to Nick that she got drunk and kissed Whip. She also revealed that she would come clean about this with Owen.
Brooke warned Bill not to hurt her sister. As Katie eavesdropped, Bill assured that he would never do that. Katie emerged and Bill shared how Katie brought things in his life that he never experienced before. "You are very good for me," he admitted. Brooke said that she and Donna will still be keeping an eye on him. After Brooke, walked away, Katie told Bill she had a surprise planned for him.
In a new TV interview, Owen explained how his twin brother Casper had taken his place for the interview. He then presented a photo and other proof, then assured that he had a wonderful marriage with Jackie. After, Owen and Jackie were alone and she got ready to tell him the truth.
Tuesday
Nick confronted Whip about his behavior with Jackie. Whip confessed that he has feelings for her but she obviously loves her husband. Nick begrudgingly admitted that he sees how much Owen really does love Jackie. Whip didn't think it was a good idea for Jackie to confess to kissing Whip.
Bill was surprised that Katie had a Whac-A-Mole game delivered to his office to play whenever he felt like being ruthless. Katie was then touched when she saw that Bill had a framed photo of them on his desk. Bill's secretary entered with some contracts and spilled her coffee on his carpet. She freaked out and apologized profusely but Bill told her not to worry about it. He then recalled that her daughter had a soccer game the next day and told her to take the day off so she could attend. The secretary said she had too much work to do and Bill had to order her to take the day off. She reluctantly agreed but was bowled over by her boss' generosity. After she left, Katie praised Bill's thoughtfulness but he tried to make light of it. Katie recounted the awesome obligations she feels she has to live up to ever since receiving Storm's heart. Bill offered to help her realize her true
potential and they kissed passionately.
Jackie created a tropical setting in the loft for Owen. He was impressed and they toasted with fruity drinks, then slow danced. After Jackie marveled about their relationship, Owen said nothing will ever change their love for them. Close-up on Jackie's guilt-ridden face. They sat down for a romantic dinner but Owen could see that something was greatly bothering his wife. She recounted how heartbroken she was by the TV interview and that she turned to Whip. Wednesday
Owen was upset when Jackie confessed she ended up in Whip's arms. She reminded him she thought that it was Owen saying those terrible things about their marriage. "Can we just get past this?" Jackie pleaded, but he was angry that she didn't have more faith in him. Even though his twin brother Casper caused the trouble, Owen was upset that Jackie didn't investigate the matter further before reacting. He wanted to know if she is in love with Whip and she said no. Then Owen wanted to know if anything like this happened before and she admitted that Whip had kissed her before but it "was nothing." Owen took great exception to Jackie turning to the man he "couldn't stand." She begged for his forgiveness but he pointed out their views on marriage don't seem to be the same. Whip conceded that they come from two different worlds and may not be compatible. Owen announced he was moving out and Jackie tried to stop him. "I can't live like this," he lamented and walked out, leaving Jackie in tears.
Nick confided in Bridget that Jackie "hooked up" with Whip. Bridget was rightfully shocked and Nick also shared that his mother was going to come clean with Owen. Bridget was impressed over her husband's new attitude about Owen not being a hustler after Jackie's money.
Stephanie became suspicious when Whip mentioned that Jackie was having a private conversation with Owen about their marriage. Whip finally admitted that, "I was with Jackie last night." He recounted how Jackie had too much champagne and they kissed. Whip also shared that he really cared about Jackie but Stephanie surmised that he was more "infatuated" with the image. Stephanie wanted to focus on positive publicity and advised Whip to start thinking with his other head.
Thursday
Jackie was distraught about Owen leaving her. "Maybe it's for the best," sighed Nick, who was surprised to learn Owen had declined the severance package and car he'd have been entitled to. Impressed by Owen's sincerity, Nick headed to Owen's and asked him to give Jackie another chance. "I might have been wrong about you," Nick admitted, but Owen was unmoved. Meanwhile, Pam and Jackie brainstormed ideas for winning over Owen. Pam came up with a plan that would have Jackie "soaring back into Owen's life." Parasailing over Owen's house would get his attention, agreed Jackie. Pam made the arrangements for Jackie to fly over Owen's house with a special banner. Jackie nervously signed a waiver, then took to the air to prove her love. The sight of Jackie floating over the ocean brought a smile to Owen's face. "I love you Jackie," he said.
At Forrester, Brooke tearfully assured her mother they'd get through her illness. Ridge interrupted and was chastised by Brooke's mom for not returning to Brooke. "She's proved her love, it's time for you to prove yours," Beth snapped. Brooke grabbed Ridge for a private chat, and explained that Beth was suffering from Stage 5 Alzheimer's. A sympathetic Ridge gave Brooke a hug. During their conversation, Stephanie barged in on Beth and ordered her to butt out of Ridge's life. Interfering is all Stephanie has ever done, countered an outraged, albeit slightly confused (she called Ridge Eric) Beth.
Friday
Owen was shocked and touched when he saw Jackie parasailing past his home
with an "I Heart Owen" sign. At Jackie M, Bridget and Nick discussed Jackie
and Owen. Bridget wasn't sure they could fix their marriage, but Nick had
faith. Pam joined them and informed them about her "plan" for Jackie to woo
back Owen. "You can say she's higher than a kite right about now," Pam
chirped to a concerned Nick. He was horrified when he heard the details, but
Bridget laughed at the idea of Jackie parasailing. Pam compared Jackie to a
certain animal.... Jackie continued to declare her love for Owen and shouted
at him to look at the banner. A bird then flew into her path and she tried
to shoo it away; Jackie ending up falling into the ocean. Happily, she was
okay after Owen rescued her, but Owen admonished her for taking such a risk.
She wondered if it had the intended effect on him; Owen explained that he
still needs time. Jackie told him how much she loves and misses him. Later,
Nick got word about the situation and believed that Owen and Jackie would
kiss and make up. Bridget was more interested in kissing Nick.... At Owens,
he got Jackie a robe and helped her get out of her wetsuit. He was clearly
affected by seeing her naked. Jackie again begged him to take him back, and
he couldn't deny his love for her. They embraced.
At Forrester Creations, Ridge tried to comfort Brooke when she revealed that
Beth is suffering from Alzheimer's Disease. Brooke sobbed about how she
didn't want to lose her mother. Meanwhile in the next room, Beth reamed out
Stephanie for Steph's treatment of Brooke. Beth became angrier and angrier
as they spoke and reminded Stephanie that Eric belonged to her until Steph
stole him. Steph couldn't understand why she was bringing up the past — and was confused when Beth said that Brooke wasn't even there. Beth then
couldn't even remember who they were speaking about, and repeated the same
conversation about Eric. When Beth noted that Brooke has never done anything
to Steph, Stephanie asked if Beth has forgotten everything. Beth became more
and more unglued and insisted that nothing was wrong with her — and then physically attacked Stephanie. Beth, Marcus and Ridge busted in and accused Steph of attacking Beth, but Stephanie explained that Beth shoved her.
