Monday
Things were awkward between Oliver and Brooke when they ran into each other at Forrester Creations. However, she relaxed when Ollie happily shared that he and Hope were back together. She hoped that this meant that Hope was healing and would eventually forgive her. Oliver asked if Brooke had Hope's necklace; she did and gave it back to him. Hope stopped by the office and overheard their conversation. She then joined them and Brooke asked her daughter about her evening. Hope smiled and said that it had been romantic, but admitted that she still needed more time to forgive her mom. Brooke was disappointed, but understood.
At FC, Thomas confronted Ridge about kicking Steffy out of the company. Steffy enthused that she's now part-owner. Thomas was puzzled. Ridge and Taylor informed him that Bill purchased Donna's shares and that Steffy was given Taylor's shares. Thomas was visibly upset, but Ridge looked forward to them working together as a family. Taylor explained that something major had to be done to make up for Steffy being kicked out. Steffy proposed that Thomas be given a big raise and a promotion to Vice President. Ridge agreed and welcomed his new VP on board. Ridge then revealed that Bill was trying to get Steffy's shares, but she assured him that Spencer wouldn't get his hands on them. Brooke entered Ridge's office, but quickly left when she saw his kids and Taylor there. Later, Ridge told his family how Liam claimed that Ridge was his father. Ridge suspected that Liam was after something. After the others left, Brooke returned to see Ridge and told him about Hope and Oliver's reunion. He was pleased to hear the news, but hoped that Ollie would take things slowly. Brooke again wished that she and her daughter could make amends; Ridge was confident that they would indeed make up.
Oliver and Hope went to his place. There, he gave her back her necklace, but she wasn't ready to accept it.... Bill called Liam and Justin into his office. Bill told them that he's now dealing with a lawsuit about the tribute and fired Liam. He taunted Liam about his crush on Hope, then scoffed that Liam should get a job flipping burgers. When Bill made a crack about the Forresters, Liam announced that his father is a Forrester. Bill accused him of being delusional for thinking that Ridge is his pop and called the young man a con artist. Liam angrily packed up his things and stormed out, dropping the photo of his mom. "No wonder why his father wanted nothing to do with him," Bill chuckled. Bill then found the photo and stared at it, recognition crossing his face.
Tuesday
Brooke, wearing sunglasses and a head scarf, went out to lunch. Nick spied her and asked why she was in disguise; she explained that she was on the down-low. She invited him to join her and he accepted. "How's it going?" she asked. "Don't ask," he sighed. He wondered how she was holding up and Brooke replied that she's not really welcome at Forrester Creations these days. Nick wondered how long she'd let that go on and she answered that she never wanted to leave FC. She questioned him about his problems with Bridget and hated the idea of her daughter dealing with her pregnancy alone. Nick bitterly reminded her that Bridget is staying with Jackie and Owen, and that he's trying to move on. He noted that Aggie has been a good friend, but Brooke felt badly that things hadn't worked out between him and Bridget. Brooke declared that Nick had been a good husband to her. "Were we married?" he joked. Just then, a paparazzi tried to photograph Brooke, but Nick stopped him. After, Brooke confided that she wished that she and Hope could make amends. Nick was confident that they would. Brooke then shared that Stephanie and Steffy are trying to kick her out of FC and filled him on Taylor giving Steffy her shares. Later, Brooke thanked Nick for keeping her company and being her "studly body guard."
At FC, Steffy met with Taylor and Stephanie and said that it was time they cut their losses and got rid of Brooke. However, she didn't want to fight with Ridge. The others, of course, agreed with her. "He doesn't want to hear the truth about Brooke," stated Steph. Steffy wished that she could get her father to listen to her — and planned to keep Bill as a threat so she could get Ridge's attention. Ridge, Thorne and Eric joined them for the meeting and Steffy stated her case — that Brooke is a liability. Ridge didn't want to hear it, but Thorne showed him the numbers and said that the scandal was causing them to lose sales. Stephanie implored Ridge to listen to his daughter since Steffy now owns part of the company. Ridge replied that she needed to keep her personal issues out of her business decisions, but Steffy argued that this wasn't personal. Later, Thomas argued with Taylor about Taylor giving Steffy her stock. He warned that his sister doesn't always play by the rules and could end up selling to Bill.... Brooke returned to FC and again clashed with Stephanie over sleeping with Oliver. Stephanie demanded that Ridge kick Brooke out and noted that she and Steffy own 50 percent together. Eric couldn't believe that Steph would stand against her son. Steffy again stated that their numbers were down because of Brooke. "Something's gotta give," she said. However, Brooke was confident that Ridge would stand by her. Steffy calmly replied that she, Stephanie and Eric are the majority. Everyone implored Ridge to make a decision.
Wednesday
At Forrester Creations, Steffy and Stephanie reminded Ridge that he fired Steffy because he'd wrongly believed that she'd created a scandal with the Brooke video. They reasoned that Brooke deserved the same treatment. Ridge wanted them to be a team — with Brooke as a part of it. He stated that they were not to discuss this any further. Steffy vowed that she was going to get through to Ridge. Stephanie supported her granddaughter, but implored Steffy to use her power wisely — rather than having meetings with Bill. Steffy argued that she wants Ridge to see Bill as a threat... Brooke correctly believed that Steffy wouldn't give up, but Ridge assured her that he'd handle the situation. Ridge urged Brooke to reach out to Steffy again, but she wasn't sure it was a good idea. Still, she agreed to try for Ridge's sake.
At Jackie M, Aggie promised to always be there for Nick and they embraced. Jackie spied them hugging and asked them if everything was alright. Amber and Whip joined them for a meeting. Whip suggested that they take advantage of Forrester going through a tough time, but Nick didn't want to exploit Brooke and her daughter. Next, they discussed Amber's designs. Nick bristled when Amber mentioned that her designs could be a little racy because there was no scandal in the company with Jackie and Owen being married. He promptly ended the meeting. After, Jackie questioned Nick about Aggie, not believing that his heart was really with with Miss Jones. Nick didn't want to have the conversation, but Jackie pressed on. He insisted that he was over Bridget, but his mother didn't believe him. He did share that he was taking things slowly with Aggie; when he mentioned that he'd talked with Brooke, Jackie became very interested. Nick wondered why Brooke wanted to stay at FC. Jackie asked if he missed Brooke, but he replied that their ship had sailed long ago. He didn't think marriage was in the cards for him.
Brooke went to see Steffy, who concluded that Ridge wanted Brooke to make nice. "We're not friends; we're never going to be," Steffy told her and added that there was no way they'd ever be able to work together. Brooke insisted that she's not standing between Steffy and her father, but Steffy disagreed. "You have the power to bring peace to this family," Brooke reasoned. "We're not in competition." She added that she and Ridge would never be split apart, even by Steffy.... Stephanie stopped by Ridge's office and bashed Brooke. She warned that he's going to eventually have to choose between his wife and daughter.
Thursday
At Forrester Creations, Brooke tried to make amends with Steffy and reminded Steffy that she'd helped raise her. Steffy didn't want to hear it and accused Brooke of ripping her family apart. She said that the only way that Brooke can make things right is to take a leave from the company until the media frenzy dies down.
At Spencer, Jarrett questioned Bill about Bill once having a relationship with Liam's mother and held up a photo of them. Bill replied that just because they were in a photo together doesn't mean that they were involved. Katie entered Bill's office and wondered what they were discussing. Bill explained that an intern has been giving him grief. She didn't understand why he was so infuriated with Liam. Jarrett assured Bill that "young William Cooper would never set foot in the building again." Bill bristled at him calling Liam "William." Katie encouraged her husband to open up to her. She spied the photo of Liam's mom and asked how Bill knows her. Bill revealed that she was Liam's mother and that Liam might be his son.
Liam went to FC and offered Ridge help in suing Spencer Publications. He promised to undo the damage he'd caused and apologized for blurting that Ridge is his father. Liam then stated that he thinks Hope is special and asked for Ridge's permission to date her. Ridge didn't want the young man anywhere near Hope. Dejected, Liam left and ran into Hope in the hallway. She'd overheard what he'd said and was touched by his kind words. She took him to the roof and shared that she and Oliver are back together. Liam revealed that he'd been fired by the "biggest jerk on the planet," Bill Spencer, but joked about how it wasn't as if he'd lost any benefits since he was unpaid. Hope was horrified when Liam relayed how Bill hadn't cared about the death of Liam's mother. Liam was just glad that he didn't have to deal with Bill anymore.
Brooke filled in Ridge on her talk with Steffy. He appreciated that she'd at least tried to make things right with his daughter, but Brooke replied that Steffy wants her to leave and isn't going to let things go.... Thomas stopped by Steffy's office and she showed him a silly video that mocked Brooke and called her "The Chaperone." Thomas wasn't amused. A wet Marcus joined them and complained that he'd had water thrown at him when he'd defended Brooke to the press. He agreed with Thomas that things had gone too far. Steffy asked Marcus to help her put a stop to the chaos. Later, Steffy barged into Ridge's office and dragged Marcus in with her. She stated that Marcus had been attacked and that none of them was safe. Brooke thanked Marcus for trying to defend her. Steffy stated that they need to show the press that they are a company that functions and not drowning in scandal. She implored her father to do what was necessary to save FC.
Friday
At Spencer Publications, Bill confessed to Katie that Liam might be his son. He revealed that he'd dated Liam's mother many years ago, but that she'd died. Katie implored him to find out if he and Liam really are related. Bill argued that if Liam were his son, he'd sense it. Katie insisted that he get an official answer.
Meanwhile, Liam and Hope discussed who could be his father. She volunteered to get a list of Forrester Creations employees so they could go over possibilities. He was grateful for her help and explained how his mom's dying wish had been for him to find his dad. He went to show her the photo of his mom, but realized that he'd left it in Bill's office. Hope volunteered to accompany him there.
At FC, Stephanie gave Thorne orders for new fabric. They talked about Ridge being caught in the middle of Steffy and Brooke's battle. Thorne was relieved that Liam wasn't Ridge's son because he didn't think Ridge could deal with anything else at the moment. When Steph mentioned Liam's mother, Kelly, Thorne recognized her name and recalled that the woman had been a model at FC. "I dated Kelly Hopkins," he shared. Stephanie got right to the point: "Did you sleep with her?" Thorne admitted that he did and realized that he could be Liam's father.
Steffy continued to push Ridge to let Brooke go. Thomas and Taylor joined them and Thomas took Brooke's side. He noted that if Brooke leaves, the press would have even more to talk about. Steffy disagreed. "You've created a monster," Thomas warned Taylor, calling his sister a "dictator." "I am against getting rid of Brooke," he declared. Ridge assured Thomas that he'd also be an owner of FC one day. Thomas lamented his parents feeling badly for Steffy and urged Steffy to get over their parents' divorce. Steffy continued to blame Brooke for their company's problems, but Thomas called her accusations a "witch hunt." Later, Ridge finally announced that he was about to make a decision and Brooke quietly left the office. After, Thomas and Steffy continued to debate whether or not Brooke should go. "It's done," Ridge sadly told them. He went into the hallway and found Brooke there, and she realized that he had bad news for her. "I'm sorry," he said. Brooke asked if he really thought she was hurting the company. He replied that it wasn't the company that he was worried about — he was worried about how all of the infighting and paparazzi were affecting her. Still, Ridge was confident that she'd bounce back. "Let's take a break from all of this," he urged. He felt badly that he had to do this, but Brooke understood. "I trust you," she assured him. "Thank you," he whispered and kissed her.
Hope and Liam arrived at Spencer Publications and Bill agreed to let them into his office. Katie encouraged Liam and Bill to patch things up, but Liam didn't want anything to do with Bill. Katie handed him the photo clippings from Liam's mom and pointed out that Bill was in all of them. A horrified Liam realized that Bill could be his dad.
