Monday
Stephanie was dumbfounded to hear Thorne call Donna his fiance. "That's right, Stephanie," Donna sneered, flashing her engagement ring. Enraged, Steph blasted her son for being "irresponsible" and insisted that Donna didn't love him. Thorne defended his choice but Stephanie ordered Donna to take her ring off. When she wouldn't, Steph tried to do it herself and Thorne had to stop his mom from getting physical "Stop treating Thorne like a disobedient toddler!" Donna huffed and Thorne ordered Mom to leave. As she walked out, Steph shot a poisoned look at Donna, who simply smiled back. "Phoebe was the most important thing in my life," Rick lamented to Ashley. "I've got to get her back." Ash pointed out that he couldn't make Phoebe feel a certain way, but Rick said he was determined to win her trust again. Meanwhile, Phoebe admitted to Constantine that she didn't think she could perform with Rick on stage. As she watched Constantine record his newest song, she couldn't help but think about Rick. Constantine noticed that Phoebe was distracted and she confessed that she missed Rick. Thorne took Eric and Ally to Crimson Lights and while his daughter was playing on the computer, Thorne revealed to his dad that he was engaged to Donna. Eric was surprised; Thorne maintained that Donna was right for him. Jackie observed that Nick was upset about Brooke. She assured her son that Stephanie would get what was coming to her thanks to Donna and Nick asked his mom for all the details. Later, Donna called Jackie to recount the confrontation with Stephanie, but mid-conversation, the line went dead. Donna looked up to find that Stephanie had snuck back into the house and pulled out the phone line. Steph advised Donna not to buy a wedding dress just yet. "Thorne is all mine now, Stephanie and he will be for the rest of your miserable life," Donna jeered. "You had it so good with my sister. Now you're stuck with me... Donna Logan, your worst nightmare!"
Tuesday
Jackie showed up on the Forrester doorstep with an engagement present for Thorne. A perturbed Stephanie insisted the wedding will never happen. Jackie pointed out that La Forrester already battled Brooke for 20 years, asking if she is ready to go another 20 with a "younger and more energetic model." Stephanie assured she was up for the challenge. Eric arrived and Steph was surprised that her husband already knew about the engagement. Jackie happily flitted out as Eric and Stephanie argued about Thorne's choice for a spouse. Stephanie sniped that heir son was about to marry someone who had "more mileage on her than the Queen Mary," but Eric said there was nothing wrong for marrying for comfort. At Forrester Creations, Thorne and Donna informed Brooke that they were engaged. "We're going to be a family again," Thorne declared to a stunned Brooke and left. "You're going to make Stephanie very, very unhappy," Brooke noted and advised her sister to back out because Thorne is very vulnerable. But Donna insisted that she could make him happy — while sticking it to Stephanie. Jackie walked in on the squabbling sisters and suggested that Brooke design Donna's wedding dress. "I'll have to sleep on that," Brooke grumbled and exited. Jackie warned Donna not to underestimate Stephanie because she could change Thorne's mind by turning on the mother's love he has always craved. Thorne walked in on his parents' argument and asked to speak to Mom alone. "You have to respect my choice and back off," Thorne demanded; Stephanie refused. "She's only marrying you to get back at me," Steph raged. "Don't be blind. Pleasure has a price." Thorne then revealed that he kicked his growing dependency on booze and pills thanks to Donna. Steph broke down in tears and begged for Thorne's forgiveness; he proclaimed that he was still going to marry Donna.
Wednesday
While playing a board game with Ridge, Ashley and Abby, Hope and R.J. whined
that they they missed their mother and wanted to go home. While the kids
were in the other room, Ridge said he only wanted to keep them long enough
for Brooke to get her act together. Now that it seems that she has, Ridge
said it was time mother and children were reunited. Ashley supported his
decision and even commented that Ridge looked "relieved." Ridge called his
mother with the news which upset Stephanie terribly. "The sooner we get the
kids back to their mother, the better off we'll all be," Ridge insisted.
During a visit with Dorothy from Child Protective Services, Brooke assured
she has made great improvement in her personal life thanks to therapy.
Still, Dorothy was concerned about Ms. Logan's track record with men and if
she could provide a safe environment for her children once another romance
enters the picture. Brooke begged for a chance to prove herself and Dorothy
could tell that Brooke was stronger and more stable. Dorothy said she would
arrange a hearing for the next day to recommend that Brooke get her kids
back. "You'll never regret putting your faith in me," a grateful Brooke
declared.
Stephanie asked for Taylor's help in Ridge getting permanent custody of
Brooke's kids but Taylor refused. "This is your crusade," she pointed out
and left. Dorothy stopped by for a visit and announced she was going to
request that Brooke be given custody of Hope and R.J.. Stephanie suggested
that Dorothy make a surprise visit on Brooke to see if she really has
corrected her reckless behavior. After Dorothy departed, Stephanie called
Andy at Caf Russe and urged him to pursue Brooke. At that moment, Brooke
showed up at the restaurant for dinner and Andy hung up. He then approached
Brooke and revealed that he was her secret admirer.
Thursday
Felicia was getting ready to leave for a date with Constantine when
Stephanie lamented that Dorothy was going to let Brooke have her kids back
unless Steph could change her mind. "Maybe you should let it go," Felicia
suggested. Stephanie said she was determined to convince Ridge to seek
permanent custody just as Nick showed up. Felicia left and Nick ordered
Stephanie to leave Brooke alone. "She's going to mess up," Stephanie
predicted
and told him to leave. Nick said that if for some reason Brooke's home
wasn't safe, he would know it was because of Stephanie
As Andy tried to charm Brooke at Caf Russe, he reminded her that he
accidentally spilled a drink on her weeks ago. Andy mentioned that he knew
"a thing or two" about child custody cases and sympathized with Brooke's
plight. She was surprised that he knew about her custody woes then grew
uneasy when he laid his hand on hers. At that moment, a photographer snapped
photos of the couple and asked who her new man was. After the shutterbug was
ejected, Brooke explained to Andy how her ex-mother-in-law was trying to
take away her kids for good. Andy tried to touch her again and Brooke
decided to leave.
At Caf Russe, Phoebe told Constantine that she didn't think she could
bring
herself to sing live on stage with Rick if they should win the Boldface
Challenge. "How am I supposed to sing a love song with a man who betrayed
me?" she wanted to know. Constantine assured Phoebe she could be
professional and follow through with the performance. She left and Felicia
met Constantine, but she was surprised to see Brooke holding hands with a
handsome stranger. Felicia called and reported the sighting to Stephanie,
who was encouraged that Andy was doing his job. Felicia watched Brooke
suddenly leave the restaurant.
Phoebe tracked down Rick to share her concerns about their duet and was
upset when he wrote that he had laryngitis. He then kissed her and revealed
he was just kidding about his voice problems. He said that if they win the
contest and sing together, the world will fall in love with her just like he
did.
Brooke returned home but was surprised when Andy called from the gate. She
told him to leave then went upstairs. When she came back down, she was
shocked to find Andy in her living room.
Friday
"What are you doing here?" Brooke asked Andy, who said he had important info
for her to read that could help with her custody hearing the next day. Andy
handed her a file and suggested they go over her strategy together. "I
really need to call it a evening," Brooke insisted but Andy ignored her and
poured them drinks. Brooke asked him to leave and, with great reluctance, he
finally did. After activating her security alarm, Brooke nervously went
Upstairs.
Rick was frustrated that Phoebe was so distracted during their rehearsal.
She claimed that their song, "I'll Spend My Lifetime Loving You" was the
reason. "If I can't feel it, then I can't sing it," she noted. "Singing was
our connection." Rick pointed out the she still felt something for him and
was fighting it. She agreed but said he ruined her trust. "We can't go
back... but maybe we can go forward," he suggested. "You've got to give me a
chance."
Stephanie was perturbed when Felicia came home and reported that Brooke left
the restaurant alone. After Felicia departed, Stephanie called Andy and he
explained that he didn't get very far with Brooke. "Don't give up," Steph
urged. Andy hung up, then remembered when La Forrester had previously
mentioned where Brooke kept her front key. Upstairs, Brooke was getting
ready for bed when Andy grabbed her from behind. "Miss me?" he leered. She
kneed him in the groin and ran downstairs but Andy caught her at the front
door and violently threw her to the floor, then began to undress himself.
Felicia showed up at Constantine's studio. "I guess you can't keep me off
your mind, huh?" he joked. Felicia thanked him for his magnanimous gesture
to donate the proceeds from the Boldface concert to cancer research. Felicia
showed her gratitude with a steamy kiss.
