B&B Week of April 5, 2010
Monday
Despite Donna's objections, Eric insisted that Stephanie could stay in the guesthouse. "You're making too big a deal out of this," Eric noted to his wife as he justified that Stephanie is still part of his family. "I can't be here," Donna wailed and rushed out. While Eric felt bad for driving Donna away, Stephanie explained that he needs a woman who can challenge him intellectually and "not just in the bedroom." Eric asked if she's that woman and Stephanie freely agreed so they started to walk down memory lane.
At Jackie M, Owen worried about Oliver staying at his beach house. Bridget came in and was surprised to find that Owen was also working late. They were uneasy around each other until Bridget agreed that they should keep their one-night stand a secret. Owen then mentioned that Oliver is staying at the beach house, which freaked out Bridget. Owen assured everything was fine, then Aggie walked in. After Owen left, the women talked about Graham's upcoming trial and Bridget explained that Aggie has people who love and support her. Aggie asked why Bridget was being so nice to her and Mrs. Marone admitted regret over how she treated Aggie in the past. Bridget explained that she went to "a dark place" after the miscarriage, which humbled her. "I'm so sorry, Aggie," Bridget cried and asked if they could be friends again. Aggie seemed moved and embraced Bridget.
Katie called Bill to let him know that she would be out with friends. After working out with the punching bag, Bill went into the living room to meditate. His session was interrupted when Donna arrived and revealed that Eric invited Stephanie to stay at the guesthouse. Bill opined that Donna leaving Eric was a big mistake on her part. "Walking out is like giving up," Bill pointed out and urged Donna to go back and fight for her marriage. She agreed and, after hugging Bill, returned home, where she apologized to Eric for leaving. "I love you with all of my heart," Donna sobbed as she threw her arms around Eric. He embraced her as Stephanie watched from another room.
Tuesday
Katie and Brooke were shocked when Donna revealed that Eric had invited Stephanie to live in the guesthouse. Donna fretted that Stephanie is determined to win her ex back. Brooke and Katie assured their sister that Eric wouldn't throw his marriage away. Donna admitted that she got carried away with helping to run Forrester and hosting THE CATWALK without considering Eric's feelings. Now, she may lose him because of that, Donna lamented. After her sisters left, Donna was surprised when Eric showed up in search of some sketches. She wanted to spend time with him but he claimed he was too busy. Hurt, Donna admitted she was wrong for the choices she made while Bill and Katie were in charge. Donna drew Eric into a passionateembrace but he said, "Not now," and left. Close-up on Donna's pouty expression.
Nick noticed a new-found peace between his wife and Aggie. Bridget confirmed that she and Mrs. Jones are friends again. Whip entered and everyone was wondering why he wasn't on his honeymoon. He revealed that he was already working on an idea for their next publicity campaign and called out for Jackie and Owen. She entered wearing summer garb while a half-naked, sheepish Owen followed in a swim suit. Whip explained the new line is called Cabana. Jackie told her husband he didn't have to participate, but he said he would to make her happy. Whip was excited when Nick and Bridget agreed to run with idea.
At Forrester Creations, Thorne was encouraged when he heard that his mom wasstaying at his dad's guesthouse. Pam was thrilled by the news, too, and Stephanie gloated, "I'm going to get my husband back." When Steph wanted to put together a tribute to Eric to celebrate his contributions to the fashion world, Thorne enthused that the move will remind his dad just how important Stephanie is to him and predicted his parents will soon reconcile. Brooke showed up and ordered her mother-in-law to stop meddling in Donna's marriage. Stephanie groused that Donna's talent for "squeezing honey out of a bottle" is no longer enough for Eric.
Wednesday
Thorne reported to his mother that the video tribute for Eric was going to
turn out great. Eric walked in and wanted to know what was going on, which
Stephanie try to deflect. She was saved from coming up with an excuse when
Jarrett entered and lamented that Bill blackballed everything Forrester
Creations from all Spencer publications and their media outlets. Eric wasn't
surprised and Jarrett declared that there should be some kind of celebration
for Eric coming back to Forrester. Afraid her own surprise would be blown,
Stephanie hustled the reporter out. While they were alone, Thorne pointed
out to his dad that Stephanie has always loved him. "It's not too late for
you and Mom," Thorne urged but Eric reminded that he has a commitment to
Donna. Still, he couldn't smile at what Thorne was suggesting.
Owen wasn't too excited about posing as Jackie's cabana boy for the next
photo shoot. After some sexy poses were captured, Jackie could tell that her
husband wasn't enjoying himself but he assured he was fine. When the shoot
was finished, Whip needed to talk to Bridget and Nick revealed she was at a
doctor appointment.
Bridget visited Dr.Caspary to get the results of her checkup. Everything
was fine and the doc gave her patient a new supply of birth control pills.
Bridget noted that she hadn't run out of her current batch and Dr. Caspary
figured that she should have no more pills left as of today. A surprised
Bridget said she must have missed taking them for a few days. She also
admitted to stress and received a prescription for "a mild anti-depressant."
Bridget returned to Jackie M, where she was greeted by a loving Nick. He
praised Owen for proving how much he loves Jackie by choosing her over his
need for a child. Bridget reacted nervously to that statement and Nick
happily affirmed that he truly liked Owen. Nick was called out of the office
and Bridget made a horrifying realization when she checked her calendar.
Thursday
At Jackie M, Bridget started having a panic attack. Owen came in and tried to console her. "Tell me what's going on," he urged. Bridget revealed that she might be pregnant but Owen assured that she most likely isn't. Nick entered and asked what was going on. Owen fibbed that Bridget had concerns about being a spokesmodel and Nick assured his wife she will do a great job. After Owen left, Nick rhapsodized about all the good memories they share and Bridget seemed comforted in his arms. After Nick left, Owen returned with a home pregnancy test and advised Bridget to take it. She finally agreed and Owen gave her a reassuring hug.
At the Forrester showroom, Stephanie was readying Eric's tribute. Ridge showed up and asked about his mother rooming at the guesthouse. "It's only a matter of time until you're back in the main house," Ridge opined as he predicted that Eric and Donna's marriage was about to implode. Ridge was impressed with the tribute that Steph is putting together but she simply replied that "he deserves it."
Eric was thinking fondly about his kiss with Stephanie when Donna and Rick entered with production questions. Rick was quite surprised to learn that Stephanie is staying at the guesthouse. After Donna left, Rick asked his dad, "what the hell were you thinking?" Eric admitted to a "shift" in his marriage and how Donna didn't support him when Bill owned Forrester. After Rick left, Ridge showed up and Eric confessed to still being angry with Donna. Ridge stirred the pot by agreeing that Donna has only been thinking about herself and not her husband. Meanwhile, Donnaapproached Stephanie and asked her to move out of the guesthouse but she refused. Steph blasted Donna for not being there for Eric when he needed her the most. Donna accepted the blame but affirmed that she's not giving up on her marriage, which didn't faze Stephanie one bit.
Friday
Just as Bridget was about to go into the bathroom to take the home pregnancy
test, Nick and Jackie walked in. Bridget discreetly shoved the brown paper
bag containing the kit out of sight but Nick noticed some tension and asked
if anything was wrong. Bridget assured her husband that everything was okay,
so Nick and Jackie excitedly presented the proofs from the Cabana shoot.
Everyone was impressed and Nick even praised Owen's participation in the
shoot. "I'm sorry, I was wrong about you," Nick admitted to his stepdad.
Jackie and Nick left, and a stressed-out Bridget took the test. As she and
Owen waited for the results, they worried about the ramifications of her possible
pregnancy. Bridget checked the all-important stick and reacted
with an emotional gasp. "What does it say?" Owen anxiously asked.
Eric was surprised when his family, as well as Donna and Brooke, were summoned
to the Forrester showroom. There, Stephanie had Eric take a seat on the
runway and she lauded him for his talent and accomplishments in the fashion
industry. "This is for you," Stephanie declared and a video tribute showed
up on a big screen monitor. The homage was narrated by Stephanie as images
of Eric's childhood and highlights of his career played out. Donna appeared
bothered by her rival's effusiveness and applause followed when the video
was finished. Everyone cleared out and a touched Eric thanked Stephanie for
her effort. "I think it upset your wife," Stephanie observed, but that didn't
quell his gratitude as Eric admitted he never could have attained all of his
triumphs without her. Stephanie announced, "I love you," and Eric said it
back. He leaned over and kissed Stephanie, but they didn't know a lurking
Pam snapped a photo of the liplock with her cell phone.
