Stephanie urged Eric not to blame himself, because it was Donna's decision to leave. "None of this is fair to any of you," rued Eric. Eric and Stephanie agreed that Steph should move out of the guest house. He headed out to find Donna.
Donna stared at a photo of her late mother as Bill reiterated that she deserves part ownership in Forrester. Eric arrived, had words with Bill, and then secured a private sit-down with his wife. Eric told Donna that he asked Stephanie to leave and won't let her walk out of his life. Donna lamented that she will never be what Stephanie is to Eric. Eric recalled the confidence Donna gave him as a man, a designer and a lover. Donna responded that her mother is gone, and Stephanie is responsible — that is an obstacle they can't get past. Eric argued they can if they're together. Come home!
Agnes sneaked up on Oliver, who chastised, "What part of ‘I'm taken’ don't you get?'" He turned around to find his sister. They discussed how Bridget and Owen's sex romp was probably a one-time thing, so Agnes planned to leave it alone.
Jackie asked Nicky to convince Bridget to model. Nick retorted that Bridget is camera shy in her undies, unlike Jackie. "There's no such thing as a shy cougar," explained Jackie. Agnes arrived. Bridget apologized for being "harsh" on Aggie, who apologized back about the loss of Bridget's grandmother. Bridget asked Aggie's opinion of the new lingerie line. Aggie agreed that Bridget would be the perfect spokesmodel. Bridget excused herself, as she wasn't feeling well. Aggie's eyebrow went up.
Stephanie explained to Pam that Eric just can't accept that his marriage is over yet. Eric returned home to a lecture from Pam about how he needs to reunite his family for the sake of the business. He pooh-poohed her — no one cares about his private life. Pam showed Eric the photo of him kissing Stephanie as proof that they do. "When Donna sees this..." Eric fretted.
Bill confided to Justin that Donna deserves compensation for her years with Eric. After he secures partial ownership for her, he will buy it from her and take back Forrester, Bill revealed. Bill then repeated to Donna that Eric needs to put her first if their marriage is to work. "Talk is cheap," he asserted. Donna shared Eric's words with Bill, saying that Stephanie will never be Eric's lover. Bill whipped out his phone and showed her their smooch: "That picture tells a very different story." Donna was stunned. Bill drove his point home by noting that Stephanie had terrorized her family long enough. She needs to hit Eric and Stephanie where they live, legally. "Do it for your mother," Bill purred. "We'll do it together."
Tuesday
Bill reiterated to Donna that Eric is the reason Beth died, and that Donna has to get justice for her mom by making Eric pay. Donna stammered that she had to go talk to Eric. Bill asked her to give Eric an envelope.
Justin stopped by and Bill relayed his belief that Donna deserves better than being a "second-string trophy wife." It won't hurt Bill any either, reasoned Justin, given his plans to get Forrester Creations back. Bill pointed out that a divorce from Eric gives Justin another shot with Donna, so it behooves both of them for Donna to "see the light."
Bridget and Nick discussed telling his mother about her pregnancy. Bridget fretted that something could go wrong. Yes, retorted Nick — if he doesn't tell her, "She'll kill me!" Nick pointed out that Jackie is already suspicious that Bridget doesn't want to be spokesmodel. Jackie and Owen entered and Nick blurted out the good news. Owen's jaw dropped as Nick pronounced that their baby was meant to be. Bridget has given him a life with his son Jack, and the "beautiful soul yet to come." Bridget and Nick embraced as Owen stared at her. Jackie discussed what a great daddy Nick will be, and all the wonderful love he shares with Bridget. A baby will make their family complete! "It's a gift to us all," she pronounced.
Left alone, Owen asked why Bridget let Nick announce her pregnancy when they don't even know if he's the father. It wasn't her idea, Bridget assured him, they discussed the need for a paternity test. She pulled a kit out of her purse and they both swabbed the inside of their mouths.
Eric stared at the photo of him kissing Stephanie as Steph entered to announce that she was packed and ready to move out. Eric showed her the pic, but she didn't see what the fuss was about. Donna entered: "Has anyone checked the Internet today?" Steph excused herself so Eric could plead his case. "How could you do this to me?" cried Donna. Eric said he was caught up in the moment and apologized for hurting Donna. He'll never do it again. Donna responded that Stephanie and his family will always come first. "Drink your martinis, play your piano, run your company. Be happy," sobbed Donna. She will always cherish what they had, but her mother is gone, and it's because of Stephanie. Eric offered to take Donna far away if she will stay with him — they never have to see Stephanie again. "Please don't go!" he begged.
Wednesday
At the Forrester mansion, Eric continued begging Donna not to leave. "I need you! I love you!" he pleaded. He promised her that they could rekindle the love and laughter they once shared. Tearfully, Donna informed her husband that it was too late. Eric refused to let her leave, saying that Stephanie was out of their lives. "She'll be back!" Donna shrieked. She broke down into tears, saying that leaving was extremely painful because she would always love him. Eric requested one last dance. Donna gripped him tightly and sunk her head into his chest. Eric flashed back to fonder times with his wife, including their wedding day. "I'll wait," he whispered as he caressed Donna's tear-stained cheeks. "I'll be here for you whenever you need me," he assured her. Donna broke their embrace and moved toward the door. On her way out, she placed the envelope from Bill on the table.
At the beach house, Katie overheard Bill on the phone to Justin saying that he hoped "she would leave him." She was suspicious. "Leave who?" she demanded. Bill admitted that he was talking about Donna. "It's good advice, Katie! She should take it!" he told his stunned wife. He showed her the Internet photo of Eric and Stephanie kissing. Katie insisted that Bill stop meddling in her sister's marriage. Bill contended that Eric's loyalty would always be with Stephanie, and that Donna should "get out" and take her pride and self-respect with her. "Not to mention a big chunk of Forrester," he added. Katie was furious to hear about Bill's plan to use her sister to wrangle Forrester back for himself. Just then, a distraught Donna burst in. Katie hugged her and comforted her. She encouraged her sister to reconcile with her husband, saying that Stephanie wouldn't make him happy. "Are you going to go back to him?" an insensitive Bill interrupted. Donna admitted that she wasn't sure. Bill wanted to know if she gave Eric the letter. "What letter?" Katie snapped. Simultaneously, Eric found the letter and opened it. After reading the demands for half of the company, he immediately realized that Bill was behind it. "He's going after Forrester," he muttered.
Back at the beach house, Bill told Donna that she deserved a generous divorce settlement. "Divorce?" Donna stammered. Bill explained that getting Forrester back would avenge her mother's death. "You're going to get everything you deserve ... I'll make sure of it," he said confidently. Katie shook her head in disbelief, and led her sister into the bedroom to calm her. Bill's phone rang, and he was pleased to see Eric's number pop up. "Leave my wife alone!" Eric demanded when Bill answered. Smugly, Bill dismissed Eric's warnings, threatening to show the entire fashion world the photo of him and Stephanie kissing if Eric didn't turn over Forrester to Donna. The two men traded barbs, and the call ended with Eric shouting that no shares of Forrester would ever belong to Spencer Publications again. Bill hung up and smiled knowingly. "We'll see about that, Eric," he said to himself. "Game on!"
At home, Ridge had returned from his business trip and comforted Brooke about the loss of her mother. Ridge tried to piece together the details of Beth's accident. Brooke filled Ridge in on the fallout of her mother's death, including the decline of Donna and Eric's marriage. Ridge was unhappy to hear that Donna blamed Stephanie for the accident. Ridge was certain that Eric wouldn't let recent events destroy his marriage. He held Brooke tight and told her not to worry about anything; that he was there for her.
Thursday
The Logans and Forresters discussed how beautiful Beth's service was. Katie lamented to Stephen how much they had wanted Beth to come live with them. Eric reiterated to Donna that he loves her and doesn't want Bill Spencer poisoning her against him. Bill interrupted. Brief words were exchanged. Ridge escorted his Dad out.
Stephanie asked Pam to be kind and respectful to the Logan girls on the day of their mother's funeral.
Brooke was surprised to hear Bill is helping Donna with her divorce from Eric. Bill maintained that their mother would want this for Donna, but Brooke didn't think divorce was the answer. Someone needs to stand up and fight back, asserted Bill. Marcus offered a shoulder to Donna and pointed out Eric adores her. Stephen and Bill discussed Donna's need to stand up for herself. Stephen privately agreed with Bill that Eric needs to pay — Donna deserves a piece of the company.
Stephen drove Donna home to the beach house and added his two cents about what a bad husband Eric was. Letting Stephanie move into the guest house was the last straw for their marriage, and he must pay. Donna begged off the conversation, saying she just wanted to be alone.
Steffy put her arms around Oliver as he added the music to the video for Hope. He rebuffed her, Hope entered. Oliver showed them the kicky video of Hope modeling. Hope thought it was fantastic and rewarded him with a kiss. "Oh, for the love of God," snarked Steffy.
Ridge and Eric discussed Bill's influence on Donna. Eric showed Ridge Donna's list of demands, including a piece of the company. Eric said he still loved Donna and he knows she won't do this — as long as we keep Stephanie away from her. Pam eavesdropped.
Donna stared at a picture of her mom as Stephanie arrived. "I'm sorry for your loss," she said. "You should be," retorted Donna. They argued. Stephanie asserted that the Logan girls use sex to get what they want, adding that "integrity trumps sex." Steph's phone rang — it was Eric. He asked her not to say anything to upset Donna "It's way too late for that," she replied. Eric asked Stephanie to come to the office. She threw a parting shot to Donna as Bill entered. "I see your new protector is here," she said nastily. Bill gave Stephanie the news that they were going after Forrester for all the torture she has put Donna through. "Soon, Donna will be back in the boardroom, one of five proud owners of Forrester Creations," he promised. "See you in court!"
Friday
Bridget waited nervously in the doctor’s office for the results of the paternity test on her baby. She remarked to the doctor that she’s sure when she asked for the genetic test the doctor would have never thought Bridget would add a paternity test to it. The doctor assured Bridget she won’t judge. Nick called to check on Bridget and offered to wait with her for the results of the genetic test. No thanks, stammered Bridget. When Owen entered, Bridget told him he’s right — they need to know who the father is.
Taylor waited in the sauna in a towel. “Cabana boy! It’s really hot in here!” Whip entered with fake abs drawn on his stomach, sporting a Mediterranean accent. Taylor laughed. “Your wish is this cabana boy’s command,” he said. They talked about Owen and the Cabana campaign. Taylor cracked a joke about Whip’s “rock-hard abs” and said he’s got Owen beat by a mile.
Nick calmed Jackie’s fears about why the doctor ordered all those tests. He said Bridget insisted on going alone. Jackie offered to go check on Bridget and report back. Jackie asked Nick to tell Owen where she was going since she couldn’t find him anywhere.
Bridget fretted that she grew up in a house full of infidelity and swore she would never do that to her own husband. Owen reassured her the baby is Nick’s. Jackie entered, surprised to find her husband there. He said he came down to support Bridget, and it looked like Jackie had the same idea. “Isn’t he the sweetest man?” gushed Jackie to Bridget. Jackie dismissed Owen and said she’d take care of Bridget now. Owen nervously exited. Jackie yammered on about how in love Nick is with Bridget and what a good person she is and what a blessing the baby will be to all of them. The doctor entered: “The paternity results will be in soon.”
Nick ordered roses for Bridget. “It’s not ‘Love, Dick.’ ‘It’s Love, Nick,’” he repeated into the phone. “Glad we caught that!” Owen arrived at Nick’s office and Nick showed him the photos from the Cabana shoot. Nick praised Owen for how well he treats his mother, and admitted he was wrong about him. “You make my mother happy, and that makes me happy. Thank you.” They shook hands.
“Paternity results?” gasped Jackie. Bridget is the last person Jackie would ever think would cheat. “Tell me his name!” Bridget insisted Jackie does not want to know the name of the possible father. Jackie pronounced herself “utterly heartbroken” and said she has the right to know who Bridget betrayed her husband - Jackie’s son - with. Jackie threatened to tell Nick if Bridget didn’t spill. “I am going to walk right out that door!” asserted Jackie. Bridget caved: “It’s Owen!”
