Stephanie faced off with Donna on the eve of Donna and Thorne's wedding. Eric entered and paid Donna a compliment. Eric told Stephanie to leave Thorne alone. A steaming Stephanie told Eric she wanted to speak to him privately in the den. Stephanie asked Eric to help her open Thorne's eyes. Eric told Stephanie that the only thing that's important is that Thorne is happy. Stephanie was dismayed when her pleas fell on deaf ears. When Katie arrived, Donna asked her if she'd be her maid of honor. Katie accepted. Donna asked Katie to oversee the caterers. Stephanie saw her and called her into the den. Stephanie asked Katie why she's participating in the wedding. Stephanie insisted Donna was being motivated by revenge, not family unity. Stephanie accused Donna of taking advantage of Thorne's vulnerabilities, and asked Katie for her help in stopping the wedding. Katie revealed that Donna asked her to be her maid of honor and she accepted, and left Stephanie to stew in the den. Eric, Bridget and Felicia gathered and agreed that they were happy for Thorne. Jackie arrived, and Eric thanked her for coming to support Donna. Eric warned Jackie that she should convince Nick to sell the company back to them before it's too late.
On his cell, Thorne told Ridge he's happy that Ridge dropped the suit and told him to enjoy his night away with the kids. Felicia entered and joked that maybe one of Donna's boyfriends will show up at the wedding, but told Thorne she only wants him to be happy. As he was getting dressed for the wedding Thorne flashed back to his Vegas proposal to Donna, and the memory put a smile on his face. Donna snuck up behind him and kissed him on the neck. Thorne was surprised to see she wasn't dressed yet. "Isn't this how you like me best?" she teased. After kissing a bit she ran off to get ready. An aroused Thorne wanted to close the doors and have sex before the wedding but Donna said she didn't want to "spoil his appetite" for the honeymoon. Jackie entered to help Donna get ready and Thorne excused himself, and ran into his mother, who declared as much as she loves him she can't attend the wedding and condone what she feels is the biggest mistake of his life.
Privately, Jackie expressed to Donna her disapproval of Donna going through with the wedding. Jackie's comments annoyed Donna. "Revenge is never as simple or as satisfying as you imagine," Jackie warned. Donna got defensive. As Donna and Jackie argued over Donna's true motivations, Katie overheard them as Donna conceded she's out to make Stephanie miserable. Katie revealed herself and confronted her sister: "Do you really love Thorne? Answer me!"
