Monday
Eric and Thorne watched Owen bare his soul to Donna. Donna begged him to "stop doing this," and walked away. Owen kept pleading and insisting, "We could be so happy together." Thorne was bummed by the lack of adulterous action, though there was some promising nuzzling. Yet Donna pushed Owen away, saying, "My heart is with Eric," and asserting, "I'm not going to betray him." She wanted to be friends with Owen, and she wanted boundaries. Owen grumpily agreed to do it "your way." When Donna left, Eric proudly pointed out to Thorne, "She passed the test!" Thorne was not happy and tried to convince his dad that he was better off with Stephanie. Eric left a message with Gloria to stop the divorce and reiterated to Thorne that he and Donna are spending the rest of their lives together. Crabby Thorne flipped through some headshots and begged his dad not to boot Stephanie from the house tonight. At home, Stephanie, not Honey Bear, caught an eye mask-wearing Donna soaking in bubble bath. Steph solicitously gave Donna a very homoerotic shoulder rub...and then dunked her underwater. Outraged Donna wrapped herself in a towel. Stephanie wondered if Donna's assets were real and praised her own skills as a masseuse. "You're all boobs and no brains," she dismissed when Donna defended her marriage to Eric. Eric interrupted, admitting, "It's time for a big change." Before he could elaborate, Steph told Donna to go put some clothes on. Alone with Eric, Stephanie murmured, "Just remember I do love you." Donna returned in lingerie and a peignoir and then Steph went to take a call. "She's getting very strange," Donna told Eric, who was amused to hear Steph gave her a massage. She pleaded for Eric to tell her that she, not Stephanie, belonged here. Stephanie walked back in on them locked in a passionate kiss.
Rick limped and dragged Steffy into his office to apologize for kissing her. Furious Steffy blasted him, reminding him he'd dated her sister and her mother. Rick trumped up the ol' "I've been lonely" excuse, saying Steffy reminded him of Taylor. (Because that's not creepy at all.) "That's disgusting!" cried Steffy, as he continued his compliments and excuses. Marcus calling from Paris interrupted the tête-à-tête and Steffy quickly put two and two together. "Was he part of your plan?" she demanded of Rick. "You must really think I'm naïve!" She accused Rick of using her to get to Ridge and told him, "It's not gonna happen!" Rick opened up about how devastating it had been to lose Taylor and how much he hated Ridge. "Blaming my dad is a copout," a sympathetic Steffy observed, gently, noting that kissing her had been wrong. She wondered what had happened to Rick. "You used to be such a good guy," she said, remembering how he'd advised her about making love to Marcus. She noted he was letting his anger take over his life and didn't want to see his rage destroy him.
Tuesday
Morning had come to LA, and a jubilant Donna and Eric cuddled in his office. Donna noted he had a lot of history with Stephanie and his family, and he told her they had history, too. Donna beamed. Cue flashbacks of Donna and Eric's Greatest Hits. But then Donna noted how their relationship hadn't been easy. Still, she'd rather have a lifetime of challenges than spend one more day without him. Eric was proud of how she'd handled his time in a coma. They kissed and went their separate ways. As Eric chilled on the roof, Ashley Abbott called from the airport. They traded "I miss you"s and Ash told him she was officially resigning from Forrester. She said she was "reinventing" herself, picking up Abby, and moving back to Genoa City. Eric was surprised to hear that she's also hooked back up with old flame Victor Newman. "You keep in touch," he told her, passing on his greetings to the Mustache.
Elsewhere, Katie told Owen to back off from Donna. At home, depressed Stephanie flipped through an album of photos and Thorne dropped by to see her. "Mother, he can't do this!" he railed of Eric choosing Donna. Stephanie appreciated his love and support and tried to get her son to simmer down. Thorne vowed he wouldn't let Eric get away with this and hugged his mother. "If my sister wanted to be with you, she would be," Katie told Owen, who insisted Donna's life was in "limbo." Peeved Thorne went back to staring at Owen's video feed and learned that the models he'd wanted for callbacks were ready. Katie dropped by to see Stephanie and talk about Donna and Owen, as Thorne made another pitch to Eric about him cleaving to Mom and only Mom. Furious Thorne demanded he take another look at the security feed for Owen's office...where it appeared Owen and Donna were talking. Stephanie wondered if Katie was trying to convince her to give up the fight for Eric. Katie insisted she was doing no such thing. Eric insisted Donna and Owen weren't going to get up to any hanky panky, but as he and Thorne kept watching, the duo started passionately making out. Eric freaked, shoving things off his desk and turning red with fury.
Wednesday
Eric was positively apoplectic seeing Owen and Donna in a clinch on the video feed. "How could you do that to us?" he railed as Thorne tried not to look smug. Eric demanded Thorne bring Donna to his office ASAP. Home at the Forrester manse, Stephanie gazed at a photo of herself and Eric and angsted. Thorne showed up to tell her to quit packing. He could barely contain his glee as he told her not to give up hope on Eric. The other Mrs. Forrester, meanwhile, arrived in Eric's office to a very bitter reception. "Our marriage is over," said Eric to his bewildered bride. Donna was flabbergasted. "You betrayed me, Donna" he accused, shrugging off her touch. He'd had enough of her loyal and innocent act. "How could you think this of me?" Donna asked, insisting she loves him. Eric didn't buy it. Donna pleaded with him to understand, offering to get down on her knees and bed. Eric kept railing about how he'd given up his marriage and family for her. "You ripped my heart out!" he said. "What kind of a woman does that?" he demanded. Puzzled by Thorne's assertions, Stephanie called Forrester to see if Eric had left yet. Thorne, meanwhile, skulked around the office and thanked two remarkably familiar looking models for their work. "Not a word about this," he told the Owen and Donna lookalikes, paying them off. In Eric's office, Donna tried to remind Eric of how good their life is. Eric refused to believe her protests or to tell her what had changed his mind. "You're the love of my life," Donna reiterated. "You have to believe me."
Brooke and Ridge talked wedding plans and their various conflicts: Eric's love life, Rick, Taylor, and Nick. They kissed and cuddled and Ridge suggested they remarry in Malibu, "our special place." Brooke suggested a huge rehearsal dinner, complete with red carpet and press. "This time, it's forever," swore Ridge. The duo then hit the sack, as they so often do.
At the FC Sky Lounge, Rick flashed back on his plunge and greeted a bevy of sexy models. Then, he moved on to flirting with Steffy, who thought it was "sick." As Steffy lifted some weights (and Rick spotted and hit on her), she accused him of using her to get back at Ridge. She suspected he knocked something loose when he fell and reiterated he's the last person she'd ever be interested in. Steffy called him out on his creepy issues. "You got it all wrong," Rick insisted, saying Ridge has been walking all over him since he was a kid. And he didn't mind one bit if Ridge and Brooke broke up. Steffy was not amused.
