At Forrester Originals, Rick informed Ashley that Brooke was modeling the showstopper. Ashley was annoyed at the thought that Ridge ran over to watch Brooke model lingerie when they are supposed to be planning their wedding. Meanwhile, over at Forrester Creations, Ridge comforted Brooke in Nick's office, as she beat herself up for her flashback to Andy during the fashion show. "I could smell his cologne as if the whole thing was happening again," cried an exasperated Brooke, as Ridge hugged and comforted her. A determined Brooke wanted to visit the press but Ridge told her it would be too much and not to push herself. Nick flew into the office demanding to know what happened. Once Brooke explained she couldn't go through with it, Nick understood what she meant and his mood softened. "Just take care of yourself," Nick offered. Jackie burst in next, all upset and blaming Ridge for sabotaging their fashion show. Nick told Jackie that Brooke would not be meeting the press and asked Jackie to handle them. Brooke apologized to Nick for blowing things. "This isn't your fault," Nick said. Brooke asked Ridge to take her home. Ridge said he'd take her home but said they had to make a pit stop first, and took her to see a counselor at the rape crisis center. While in the waiting room Ridge took a call from Ashley, who expressed her annoyance at Ridge for running off to be with Brooke. Before he could explain himself, Ashley said she was going to end the conversation before she said something she'd regret. The counselor then called Brooke into her office. Brooke asked if Ridge could stay during her session and the counselor told Brooke whatever made her feel most comfortable. In her session, Brooke recounted the salient points of her rape, and questioned whether her role as a lingerie model caused her to deserve what happened, as Andy suggested to her. The counselor firmly rejected the idea, and insisted that no woman ever deserves to be raped. The counselor further assuaged Brooke's guilt for taking a shower and ruining any evidence against her attacked by reassuring her that she responded naturally. After offering some further words of comfort, the counselor excused herself to get some appropriate literature for her. Ridge expressed the disgust he felt for his mother's role in what happened. Brooke told Ridge not to beat himself up over what his mother did. Ridge promised to be with Brooke every step of the way. "Soon you'll be back to your old silly self," Ridge reassured Brooke, who wondered if she'll ever be able to handle a man's touch again. Ridge sweetly kissed her on the lips and whispered, "I'm sure."
Donna paid Eric a visit and explained how the fashion show turned into a fiasco. She expressed her worry over Brooke and asked rhetorically how Stephanie could something like that to Brooke. Donna expressed her rage at Stephanie. Eric cautioned that violence solves nothing. Donna agreed, but suggested that if Stephanie were held accountable for her actions people like Brooke and Eric wouldn't be suffering from her machinations. Donna suggested that maybe it's time for Eric to undo the damage Stephanie caused him by getting his company back. Eric questioned Donna's loyalty since she works for Nick. He asked her if she's more interested in helping him or getting back at Stephanie. Donna coyly told Eric it's because of his dimple. "It's cute as hell, and so are you," she cooed. She then told Eric she was going to help him learn how to have fun again. She partially disrobed to show off Clarke's design, to prove how much they need him. Eric helped her disrobe further as they continue to flirt with each other and began to kiss.
Tuesday
Donna prepared morning-after coffee for her and Eric and showed him the headlines of the day’s paper, panning Forrester Creations after the fashion show debacle. "Don't let it [Forrester Creations] die. Make Nick an offer," Donna suggested. Eric doubted Nick would ever sell it back to him because he bought it out of spite. But Donna cheered him on to reclaim his legacy. Eric pulled Donna into a passionate kiss. "You're right, Donna Logan! It's time to take back what's rightfully mine."
At Forrester Creations Jackie flipped out on Brooke for ruining the fashion show "for a pat on the head from Ridge Forrester." Brooke offered to help do damage control. Jackie suggested a photo shoot, but Nick rejected the idea, and took full responsibility for the company's problems and destiny. Nick conceded that he allowed them all to get in way over their heads since he's not a fashion person. Nick said the bottom line is the bottom line and instructed Brooke to come up with a product line they can mass market at a high markup. Jackie warned Nick that their buyers are canceling orders left and right "Because they smell blood, and it's ours," she cried. Nick and Jackie feverishly worked the phones in an effort to forestall the buyers' desertions. Donna knocked on the door and announced Eric was there to see him. Eric waltzed in and offered to buy back Forrester Creations at the same price Nick bought it and offered to Jackie to retain her Jackie M boutiques.
Nick stubbornly insisted he could carry on with the company just fine. Eric sweetened the deal by telling Nick that Stephanie won't be involved with the company this time around, since he will be sole owner. Donna conveniently let the cat out of the bag by blabbing that Eric and Stephanie's marriage is on the rocks, and talked up Eric to Nick. Donna pointed out that Nick has his revenge because Stephanie has been cut out of the business altogether, by her own family. Donna continued to negotiate between Eric and Nick, and appealed to Nick's logic and business sense. "Everyone gets what they want," suggested Donna, as Nick mulled Eric's offer.
Over coffee with Katie, Brooke told her sister about her experience at the rape crisis center. Brooke told her of her fear about letting another man touch her, but how Ridge kissed her "and it was perfect. I didn't feel anything but love." Katie disapproved of Ridge's kiss, even for therapeutic reasons. Katie warned Brooke not to read too much into Ridge's help and support, but Brooke remained convinced that she and Ridge will reconcile. At Forrester Originals, Ridge had to deal with a snarky Ashley, who was still annoyed at him for dropping everything to run to Brooke. Ridge tried to explain to Ashley that Brooke needs to know that she can trust him and have privacy. Ashley asked Ridge what the limits of that confidence are. Ashley
began a guessing game: "Does she have a terminal illness?" quizzed Ashley, who offered Ridge lots of leeway IF she knew what's going on. "She was raped," Ridge finally announced to a stunned Ashley. Ridge explained how he
took Brooke to a rape crisis center, but he didn't get into the reveal of Stephanie's involvement. Ridge apologized for evading Ashley. Ashley thanked him, and said all she wanted was an explanation, and now he's entitled to one, too. Ashley said she needs to know that he's an honest and sincere person, and not two-faced. Ridge said he can't say he's never told a lie, but most of the times he's gotten himself in trouble have been over conflicting loyalties. Ridge's answers satisfied Ashley. The two professed their love for each other and kissed passionately.
Wednesday
A defiant Nick rejected Donna and Eric's pleas and insisted he'd rather run the company into the ground before selling it back to the Forresters. Donna and Eric urged him to reconsider. Nick thought a minute, then made a counter-offer: He would sell the company back to Eric if Eric agreed to divorce Stephanie, and told Eric to give it some thought. Alone, Jackie urged Nick to work out a deal with Eric. Nick was horrified when he realized that Jackie still has romantic designs on Eric. Jackie admitted she's never gotten over Eric. Back at the Forrester mansion Eric was excited at the prospect of reclaiming his company and legacy. However, he was concerned that Donna may have overstated things to Nick about his marriage to Stephanie being over. Donna urged Eric to take stock in all the things going for him as a single guy without Stephanie, and pointed out all the negative things he had to deal with if he stayed with his wife. She declared that choosing between Stephanie and the company was a "no-brainer." Donna asked Eric point blank if he still has any love for Stephanie. Eric conceded that what Steph did to Brooke was unforgivable, but "she's still my wife." "Not for long, right?" asked Donna. At that point Nick called, demanding an answer. Eric told Nick he'd be right over with his answer.
A glowing Ridge and Ashley discussed setting a date for their wedding. They were interrupted by Brooke. Ridge informed Brooke that he told Ashley about her rape. Brooke was surprised that Ridge broke her confidence. Ashley intervened by extending her condolences and support and giving Brooke a big hug. When Ridge stepped out with RJ, Brooke dug in her heels and bristled with Ashley. Brooke admitted her feelings for Ridge, and needled Ashley about her own "secrets." Brooke attempted to plant seeds of doubt in Ashley's mind by speculating that Ridge may not be entirely over Ashley sleeping with Rick. Ashley declined getting into a fight with Brooke, and asserted that she and Ridge don't want any secrets between them. Taking the high road, Ashley reiterated her condolences for what happened to Brooke, but stood her ground and told Brooke that she's getting married to Ridge, so it's not fair to her or Ridge for Brooke to keep running to Ridge every time she needs something. Ridge returned and Brooke left with RJ. Ridge sensed the lingering tension in the room. Ashley admitted that she stood up to Brooke. Ridge admitted he regrets not going on the camping trip with Brooke and RJ and expressed his worry that Brooke is taking on too much too soon.
Up at Big Bear, Brooke helped the other parents during the camping trip. She offered to sleep in the cabin and have them use her tent when they were one tent short. Alone in the cabin, Brooke had a hallucination that Andy was there and preparing to rape her. After she screamed she fell back onto the floor in front of the fire and seemed to realize that Andy wasn't there after all.
Thursday
At Big Bear, Brooke recoiled from her hallucination of Andy. While making wedding plans with Ridge, Ashley noticed that Stephanie was conspicuously absent from the invite list. Ridge conceded that he wasn't able to forgive Stephanie for what happened to Brooke. A glowing Ashley kissed Ridge goodnight. Afterward Ridge took a call from Brooke, who was frantic about Andy. Ridge tried to reassure her that Andy is dead, and told her he'd be there ASAP. When Ridge arrived at the cabin Brooke screamed for Andy to go away until she saw it was Ridge. Ridge hugged and comforted Brooke, who tearfully told him how scared she is. Ridge prepared Brooke something to drink and calmed her down. Brooke was angry at herself for reacting this way. Ridge sweetly reassured her that she's going to have her good days and her bad days, and encouraged her to remember everything the rape crisis counselor had advised her. Brooke apologized for calling Ridge in her panic. He said it was okay for her to call. She told him she wasn't scared any more. Ridge said he was glad, since it was his goal to allay her fears, so he was going to leave. "Do you have to?" asked Brooke. At that point RJ entered the cabin and told him he couldn't sleep out in the tent because of the noises. Ridge got RJ settled for bed in front of the fire, and reassured his son that both he and his mother would be here for him. Brooke cuddled up on the other side of RJ, kissed Ridge's hand and thanked him for staying the night. Back at Forrester Originals, Ashley returned to the office and was pleasantly surprised to find sketches of new designs Ridge had made with Ashley as the model for them.
While waiting for Eric, Nick told Jackie he'd only sell Forrester if he had a guarantee that Stephanie would never be involved with the company ever again. When Eric entered, Nick asked him for his final answer. Eric declared that this was not a simple answer for him to give. As Eric and Nick exchanged barbs, Jackie and Donna encouraged them both to bury the past and move on. Eric looked Nick in the eye and accepted his offer, but drew the line at Nick interfering in his personal life. "No deal," Nick declared. Jackie urged Eric to capitulate. After a moment's thought, Eric gave his word to end his marriage to Stephanie. With that, Nick produced the sales agreement, and both men signed it. Nick then filed out with Donna and Jackie, leaving Eric to reclaim his old office. His first move was to leave an angry voicemail for Stephanie, admonishing her for not taking his calls or returning his messages. "You and I have a lot to talk about," he warned. Donna returned and Eric's mood lightened. An ebullient Eric thanked Donna for helping him reclaim his business. He then upset Donna by telling her that he lied to Nick about divorcing Stephanie to get the company back, but hedged that he doesn't know what's going to happen with his wife. Eric admitted that this is a very confusing time for him. "I don't know where things stand with Stephanie." Donna surprised Eric by telling him she understands because she knows he's a good, decent man. She told him she wants him to have the passionate, fulfilling life he deserves. Eric thanked Donna and the two shared an emotional hug.
Friday
At Big Bear, Brooke continued to make a play for Ridge. He insisted he's happily taken with Ashley, but that didn't prevent Brooke from pleading her case. "Can't you just forgive me, one last time?" Brooke asked. She insisted Ridge came up to the cabin not just because he was scared for her, but because he still cares. Ridge took Brooke outside, away from RJ, to declare that he's not there to rekindle their romance. Brooke played the kid card and told Ridge that RJ and Hope will always be waiting with her for him to return home to them. "I love Ashley," Ridge declared. "Do you love Ashley like you love me?" Brooke countered. Ridge left without answering her question.
Rick was concerned when he spoke to Brooke on the phone and learned that she was at Big Bear with RJ and Ridge. Rick warned Ashley that the dress sketches Ashley saw from Ridge may be for Brooke. Ashley flipped out and expressed her annoyance at everyone expecting Ridge and Brooke to get back together. She showed her Ridge's sketch and pointed out the he drew a likeness of her, not Brooke. Rick insisted Ridge is very fickle. When Ashley wasn't buying any of it, Rick dropped the bomb that Ridge was spending the night up at Big Bear with Brooke and RJ. After it sank in, Ashley insisted there must be some explanation. She looked up the number to the cabin in Ridge's Rolodex, and called Brooke, demanding to speak to Ridge. Brooke told Ashley he just left. Ashley put Brooke on notice: "Stay away. Do you hear me Brooke? Ridge is mine," Ashley declared before hanging up.
A curious Nick asked Donna why she's so interested in the Forrester company affairs. Donna coyly told him it's because that's where she gets her paycheck. Eric retreated to his bedroom and saw candles lit in his bathroom. He walked in expecting Donna, but was shocked to find Jackie in his tub, taking a bubble bath. She was drinking champagne, and she toasted Eric for getting the company back — and for a new start for them. "Come on in, the water's lovely," she purred. Eric politely declined and asked her to leave, but Jackie refused. Eric was interrupted by a call on his cell and excused himself while Jackie continued to luxuriate in her bubbles. Donna arrived in Eric's bedroom, and thinking that he was the one inside the bathroom, prepared to join him in the tub. Donna disrobed, walked into the bathroom and freaked out when she and Jackie saw each other. Jackie and Donna were in the midst of getting over their mutual shock when Eric walked in. Eric defended his relationship with Donna and told Jackie that it's not just some fling. When Jackie got out of the tub Donna asked if they were still friends. Jackie went to hug Donna, then threw her into the tub! She told off Donna and Eric before storming out.
