Over at Shady Marlin, Bridget explained how Taylor managed to survive all those years ago. At least Ridge wouldn’t need a straitjacket now, quipped Nick. Bridget recounted Taylor’s reunion with her kids and how wonderful it was for them to have her back. Nick agreed, but he was worried about someone: Brooke. Where did this leave her? They wondered if legally Brooke and Ridge were even still married. Nick seemed sure Ridge would stay with Brooke. They had baby R.J. after all, but Bridget feared it wouldn’t be that easy. She was afraid neither Taylor or her mom would give Ridge up….

Taylor wondered out loud if it could be true that R.J. was Brooke and Ridge’s. When Ridge said nothing, Brooke was very quick to answer: “Yes. Ridge Jr.” Taylor was shocked. “A lot has happened since you’ve been gone,” Brooke tried to explain. (Obviously!) At the urging of the kids, Brooke let Taylor — who was visibly uncomfortable — hold the baby. The kids filled their mom in on both R.J. and Hope, and Ridge finally took the baby from Taylor. He and Brooke left Taylor alone with her children so they could continue to catch up. Taylor focused her attention back on her own kids and smiled as they all gathered on the bed. “This must be what heaven is like,” Taylor reflected and then promised her kids that she was there to stay….

Back in her bedroom, Brooke explained she wasn’t aware Taylor didn’t know about R.J. Why didn’t he tell Taylor? He didn’t do omit it intentionally, he assured her. It’s just been a whirlwind 24 hours for him. They talked about the immediate future and Brooke promised Ridge Taylor would always be welcome in their home. She could even stay there tonight and tomorrow they could find her a place to stay nearby. “What?” asked a shocked Ridge. They had to keep their family together, stressed Brooke. He felt that way, too, right?Thursday, May 12, 2005
Brooke looked on from the doorway as Taylor snuggled in a family hug with Ridge and the kids. “I never thought I would feel this way again,” exclaimed Ridge, not realizing Brooke could hear him. “I thought a part of me was lost forever.” (Not exactly what you want to hear from your hubby!) With that, Brooke retreated back to her bedroom where Bridget was there to comfort her and tried to rationalize how Taylor must be feeling. “To her, it feels like it’s still her home,” Bridget tried to explain….

Meanwhile, Taylor explained to her curious kids how she survived all those years ago. She assured them that it was them and their prayers that willed her to hang on. The kids were thrilled to not only have their mom back, but also to know their dad wasn’t going loco. “We thought you’d flipped out,” laughed Thomas. Ridge admitted that he was constantly worried he wasn’t enough for his children through the years. “You did a wonderful job,” Taylor assured him. “But you don’t have to do it alone anymore. I’m home.” They sealed it with a kiss as their children looked on. The moment was interrupted by a baby’s cries, though. “What’s that?” Taylor asked. Cue the entrance of Brooke and baby RJ. A look of shock immediately hit Taylor’s face when she learned RJ was Brooke and Ridge’s son and she turned to Ridge. Somebody’s got some explaining to do….

Over at the Shady Marlin, Nick returned home to find Stephanie. Steph wasn’t too pleased with the Captain; she was upset with him for helping Ridge dig up Taylor’s grave. She expressed her deep concern for her son and even voiced that perhaps institutionalization should be considered. The Shady Marlin was a popular place to be today. After Steph left, Bridget went by and Nick passed on the news that Stephanie feared Ridge should be institutionalized. Uh, no, replied Bridget. Ridge wasn’t crazy; she saw with her own eyes that Taylor was very much alive.Wednesday, May 11, 2005
At Forrester Creations, Gaby, who works there part time as Stephanie’s personal assistant, passed a message to Thomas from Ridge: Come home! Thomas was thrilled to hear that his dad was safe. As he gazed at a framed photo of his parents, Gaby recalled how kind Taylor was to her (Remember, Gaby’s late mom was Stephanie’s housekeeper for years so it makes sense that Gaby would encounter Taylor from time to time). Thomas said he would give anything to see Taylor and hear her voice again. Gaby gave him a comforting hug….

Brooke summoned Bridget over to announce that Taylor was alive. “What she must have gone through,” Bridget said in awe. (Yeah, wait until Taylor hears how you had the hots for Ridge.)..Taylor appeared in front of her girls. A frightened Phoebe bolted and ran upstairs. Steffy stood dumfounded and assumed she was looking at someone who resembled her mom. Taylor and Ridge confirmed that her death was greatly exaggerated. Mother and daughter tearfully embraced. Okay, one down, another twin to go. Phoebe laid on her bed crying when Taylor entered and began to sing, “You Are My Sunshine.” Despite being off-key (or maybe because of it) Pheebs finally came around and joyfully welcomed her mother back. When Steffy showed up, Taylor promised, “I’m always going to be a part of your lives.” Ridge encountered Thomas in the hallway and urged his son to go into his sisters’ room. Thomas was stunned to see Taylor and flinched when she touched him. As the entire family joined into a group hug (Ridge included), a troubled Brooke looked on.Tuesday, May 10, 2005
Taylor begged Ridge to bring their children to her. After he left, Taylor explained to Brooke that she had been in a coma for so long that it just seems like yesterday that she was here. She thanked Brooke once again for helping the children to move on with their lives, but Brooke stated that they all have bonded as a family. Taylor asked Brooke for an update on Thomas, Phoebe and Steffy. Brooke filled her in, then said, “Even though you haven’t been here, your presence has always remained strong”….

Bridget tried to assure Jackie that Nick’s love is real but Jackie was unconvinced. “What are we supposed to do?” posed Bridget. “Walk away from he best thing that’s ever happened for us?” Jackie kept pointing out the obstacles in front of Nick and Bridget then begged for them to take their time. “I’m not a child anymore, I know how I feel,” Nick stated and promised that when Ridge was well again, there will be a wedding. Jackie promised she wouldn’t stand in the way and hugged Bridget. “I’m very happy for both of you,” said Jackie but did she mean it? After his mom finally left, Nick decided to cheer up Bridget with a trip to an outdoor mall….

Stephanie and Eric discussed their concern for Ridge but they were surprised when he suddenly showed up in an upbeat mood. “Where are the kids?” he asked. “I want to take them home.” His parents wanted him to go back to the hospital, but Ridge claimed he was fine. Phoebe and Steffy showed up (Thomas had already gone to Forrester Creations) and Ridge exclaimed, “Something wonderful has happened, beyond our wildest dreams.” While the girls rushed off to gather their things, Steph and Eric were scared to let Ridge leave with them. “Do you believe in miracles?” he whispered in his mother’s ear. “If you don’t, you will.” When Ridge, Phoebe and Steffy returned home, Taylor stood unnoticed, overcome with emotion by the sight of her daughters.Monday, May 9, 2005
Brooke was so shocked to see Taylor on the front stoop that she slammed the door shut on her (if only it were that easy, Brooke). “This can’t be happening,” she wailed. Ridge calmed her down, then opened the door again. Before you could say, “Avon calling,” Taylor stepped in and Brooke promptly fainted. After coming to, Brooke assumed she had a bad dream, until Taylor piped in, “I didn’t mean to frighten you.” Brooke then listened to Taylor’s extraordinary tale of survival as the latter lovingly gazed at a photo of her three kids. Taylor then announced to Ridge she couldn’t wait any longer, she wanted to see Thomas, Phoebe and Steffy. Taylor thanked Brooke for being a mother in her absence. “I can’t even begin to tell you how grateful I am,” Taylor sobbed and hugged a stunned Brooke. “You’re home to stay,” Ridge chirped. Judging by the look on Brooke’s face, she didn’t appear overjoyed with the turn of events….

Jackie visited Nick so she could weigh in on the botched nups. “You’re a sailor, Nicky, you believe in omens,” she explained. “This could be a sign that you’re marrying the wrong woman.” A perturbed Nick warned his mom that he would throw her overboard if she didn’t keep her opinion to herself but Jackie pushed on. She tried to convince her son to take it slow before rushing into marriage and make sure he was committing to the right girl. Oops. Bridget quietly arrived and overheard the advice. “Now I know how you really feel,” she remarked. Jackie fretted that Nick isn’t over Brooke yet but Bridget begged to differ. “I’m just trying to save you both a lot of heartache,” Jackie pointed out….

Stephanie assured Thomas that his father will get past his emotional crisis. Thomas admitted how much he missed his mom and Granny tried to comfort him. He tearfully lamented that he never got the chance to say good-bye to Taylor.
