Emerson Brooks (ex-Ben, AMC) and Tatyana Ali (Roxanne, Y&R) were named Outstanding Actor and Actress in a Daytime Drama Series at the 43rd NAACP Image Awards on February 17 at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. GH, meanwhile, nabbed top honors at the 64th Annual Writers Guild Awards on February 19, beating ALL MY CHILDREN and YOUNG AND RESTLESS. "Congrats to GH's writing team for winning the WGA Award!" tweeted Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth). "Bittersweet WGA Award win for GH writing team. Congrats, former colleagues. It was a great ride and we got one last trophy, to boot," tweeted former GH scribe Michele Val Jean, now writing for B&B.
