Ashley Jones On Her GH Comeback

Less than a month after giving birth to firstborn son Hayden, Ashley Jones returns to the GH canvas next week as Parker. “It was no small feat to go back to work that fast,” the actress says. Luckily, she had some top-notch child care: “My mom came out to care for Hayden while I was at work. It probably would have been more daunting if my own mother wasn’t looking after him.” She was thrilled to reteam with Lexi Ainsworth (Kristina), noting, “I think that this is a story that they are allowing to breathe and I think it’s a very relevant, interesting storyline that has so many different layers.” Expect major emotional fireworks when Parker and Kristina come face to face next week. “She doesn’t want to hurt Kristina,” Jones says of Parker. “But at the same time, she does have feelings for her.” For more on the actress and what’s in store for Parker and Kristina, check out the new Soap Opera Digest, on sale today.
