Arianne Zucker's Greatest DAYS OF OUR LIVES Moments

It’s been an adventurous ride for Arianne Zucker, since she joined DAYS OF OUR LIVES as gold digger Nicole Walker back in 1998. Over the years, she’s amassed fond memories of her time in Salem. Zucker shares her five most memorable moments.BEACH BLANKET BOZO

“We don’t get to go on location a lot. So those days are always fun. Jensen (Ackles, ex-Eric) and I got to go to Venice Beach, when I first started on the show. Jensen is so funny and has the greatest personality. We were on roller skates. I like to think I’m a really good roller skater, but I ate a lot of sand that day. At one point I hit a sand patch right on the cement and went flying. I was like, ‘I’m okay. I’m all right.’ It was hysterical.”GETTING HAMMERED

“I remember when my character first became an alcoholic on the show. I barely had dialogue that day. In fact, I don’t think I had any dialogue. I just happened to be at the Kiriakis pool. I was lying on the chaise lounge in the background. The prop guys kept filling my drink glass, and I had to keep playing more and more drunk throughout the episode. By the end of the episode, I was just lying there. Because I had nothing [scripted] to do, every time the cameras panned toward me, I would flail, do something [as if I were] drunk, or fall off the [chair]. That’s my No. 1 memory, because it was the beginning of my character being an alcoholic.”WHEN PUSH COMES TO SHOVE

“There was a time when Victor was keeping Nicole prisoner in their home. There was a scene where Nicole trying to escape out the window. At first you thought Victor was going to come over, grab her, and pull her back in, but he pushed Nicole out of the window. It was absolutely hysterical, if you watched it on-air. I didn’t know he was going to push me out of the window until that morning. They thought it would be really funny to have him do that, because Victor was just so sick and tired of Nicole. It was hysterical, because John Aniston (Victor) is so stoic. He doesn’t have to do anything, and he makes me laugh so hard. I kept saying, ‘John, shove me. Shove me.’ And he did. He pushed me out the window. We had to do the scene a few times, and I was laughing so hard. It was great; it worked.”BRIDEZILLA

“When Nicole showed up at Brady and Chloe’s wedding in a wedding gown, that was my idea. I said, ‘How funny would it be if Nicole showed up in a wedding dress? She’s that crazy.’ And, of course, Nicole thought it was totally reasonable, because what if Brady said no to Chloe? I went to the wardrobe person and they said, ‘You can’t wear that.’ I said, ‘Why not?’ Then I went to the producers and explained my reasons. ‘Why wouldn’t Nicole wear a wedding gown? She’s in love with this man. She’s done everything in her power to be with Brady, to marry Brady. If he changes his mind about Chloe, Nicole is ready to go. He can marry her instead.’ They laughed and thought it was funny. So I ended up lurking at the side window of the church in a wedding dress.”“SOLE” MATES

Ali (Sweeney, Sami) and I have had some fun moments together. We’re like Frick and Frack. There was a good moment when I was leaving the show. Sami and Nicole were kind of in cahoots. Nicole was plastered, and she and Sami were trying to climb up [a building] and put a smoke bomb in Eugenia’s apartment. Sami and Nicole were crawling through the air ducts, trying to put the bomb in there. It was so not a soap moment, so we got to ad-lib. When we get to go off-book and just completely bitch and bicker at each other, it’s great. Ali and I have such fun working together. We don’t get to do it often, but when they do let us say whatever we feel like saying, it’s great. It shows the fun we’re having offscreen.”
