Apparently no one in Pine Valley knows how to lock a door. So David walks into Tad's house in the middle of Jake and Amanda's vows, starts a fight and refuses to leave. So instead of being a LITTLE realistic and calling the police to have him arrested for trespassing, or at the very least having him escorted off the property, they tie him to a chair. Really?? I think our intelligence has just been insulted.

It was completely absurd and unrealistic but .. I thought it was great. That was something that should have been done a long time ago, the look on his face was priceless.

I've been ranting about this very thing for months. No one in Pine Valley locks a door, and no one knocks before entering someone else's home. Everyone barges into the Chandler mansion without ringing the bell or knocking (and David roams the not-so-secret passages at will); people walk into Wildwind without knocking; same thing at Tad's home. What's with this open door policy anyway? One would think, especially after having everybody's enemy David storming in everywhere, that they'd finally have sense enough to lock the damned doors. I'd love to see Tad get a Rottweiler to give David a good scare the next time he shows up uninvited.

You are absolutely right but if the doors are locked and everyone has to knock then no one would let these people in and the writers would have to come up with another way for the confrontations to happen. JMO

Yes, but David seems to find people to confront wherever they are . . . the hospital, the yacht club, etc. I don't know how he ever gets any work done, he's so busy chasing down people to harrass!

I guess when you're the Chief of Staff at PVH all's you have to do is make an appearance long enough to harass and insult other doctors and threaten a few patients then you're done for the day and can pursue other targets.

And how did he get to the tropics so darned fast???? He finds out Jake and Amanda flew off to a tropical honeymoon and next thing you know, he's at her side in the clinic. Time means nothing on soaps. Either that or Scotty beamed him up!

They'll be sorry, he'll be arguing with Kirk about how to run a star ship and to shut him up they'll have to beam him out into space. Come to think of it that's not a bad idea. Thanks for the laugh Maineiac!!

Just to add to that did you see how David goes into the suite in the tropics digs through their stuff and answers Jake's phone. OH come on. I was wondering how they were going to explain the missing body of the not dead baby. This is going to be another storyline where it just irritates you till they return the baby to its mom Amanda.

SOD says Amanda talks him out of seeing the baby because he wouldn't want to remember his son dead in the morgue. Like that would ever happen. Nobody ever talks David out of anything he wants. But, anything to move the story along, I guess. We all know that eventually Amanda will get her baby back and that David will also discover that he's been tricked. But, wait, we're told that David is going to go through a transformation, so perhaps the baby will be safe with his mother. And I'm going to win Powerball this week and spend it all on candy!

I didn't see the whole thing yet, just bits and pieces, but I saw him yelling and berating her. If she had any brains at all she would realize that what everyone has been saying is right and that no one will ever be enough for David. Tell him where to go and walk out of his life for good. Maybe she should have left him alone but her heart was in the right place and basic human kindness, I guess he has none, would have been to be at least cordial to her and tell her he wanted to be alone. But no he acted like a spoiled child who just heard no for the first time.

I think Marissa will end up being like her biofather eventually. She has the sweetness of her Mother but like JR will start acting like her dad to get his approval. Maybe Marissa will be like him just enough to eventually be able to control David and be his moral compass. (I see her helping him find out his baby is still alive or someithing like that and she aids him in the discovery. )

Here is what I wish since the killed off sweet Stuart. It would be nice to not have a love relationship between Adam & Annie. Instead, have him in honor of Stuart pick up on doing good. I love Adam when he's bad, & I loved Stuarts goodness. I wish for a happy medium in Adam. He made a comment yesterday lead me to believe that was the direction he was going. But kissing Annie isn't what Stu would do. I would prefer Erica with Adam or find him someone new & above the age of say 45-50.

This thread got off the subject a little bit, but today brought me back -- big time! Here's Adam with bodyguards no more than a shout away, security that only requires a push of a button to have them charge into the room. OK, then in walks Kendall through the wall tunnels with no obvious interference from all this beefed up security. WTH?!?!? Will they ever learn to write those tunnels boarded up?? The security guards grabbed Aidan when he was across the street in his car, but missed Kendall sneaking in through the tunnels!!

Don't get me started..Kendall showed up at the Chandler mansion just minutes after Erica did... who also showed up without a notice by the guards.

With all of Adam's money, he should be firing his security staff for the job they are doing? He doesn't even seem upset with their lack of job skills..two woman snuck into the mansion and no one noticed?

Also Kendall was able to sneak into Ryan's apartment by climbing up the fire escape. Here is a woman that supposedly didn't want Zach or anyone to know where she was (which made no sense regardless as what did Ryan have to do with this plan to talk to Adam anyway??) ...and she climbed up a FIRE ESCAPE to a PENTHOUSE of an apartment building? Ryan lives on the top floor and no one is going to notice a grown woman in a dress and high heels scaling a tall building to "hide" her presence?

Just curious..I have little interest in the cartoon character that Annie has turned into...but even so, was I supposed to feel sorry for Erica when Annie tried to strangle her? Erica broke into the Chandler mansion AGAIN...and tried to torture and humiliate an obviously sick woman AGAIN..and tried to push her over the edge and I am supposed to feel bad for Erica because it worked..but she didn't get the result she wanted?

P.S. I don't.

And then she goes over to Ryan for comfort and he gives it to her? "Aw gee Ryan, I tried to push and push mentally ill Annie over the edge and it worked, but "suprisingly" she is upset with me and tried to hurt me." IMO Erica got what she deserved.

Not to mention..the number of people who were obviously citizens of Star Trek, not Pine Valley..consideing the speed they "beamed up" back and forth between Pine Valley, PA and Washginton, DC without barely a hair out of place. There is no way in the real world people can travel that fast.

But of course, there is little real about AMC these days. This whole show has turned into a "are you kidding?" to me.

All of the happenings on yesterday's show just defy's any explanation. What Pratt has done to this once beloved show and beloved characters is beyond despicable. He has turned the once savvy Adam into a blithering idiot. For what? So he can write for the one note character of Annie? Annie is a murderess ,a confessed murderess. It doesn't matter what mental illness she may or may not have, we SAW her committ murder. We SAW her attempt to murder Erica and yet the writer insists on featuring this character that has lost all redemptive qualitiies she may have had. It doesn't matter whether or not Erica got what she deserved.Murder is a capital crime and carries heavy, heavy conseqences, none of which this cartoonish character seems to bear. She should have been written out a long time ago. She is tedious and unlikable. How did this once sophisticated, witty show filled with interesting complex characters become pollulted with so many unlikable characters....Annie, Liza. Ryan, Taylor, Randi and Jake and Amanda who are quickly becoming detestable for the despicable lie they have told to David, whether or not he deserved it? The ratings are certain proof positive that Mr. P is not the correct fit for this show. I want my AMC back, the AMC that was bright, savvy and romantic and had characters that I cared about even those that weren't my favorites. How much longer before Pratt's fired? Time's running out.

I think he knows Annie killed Stuart and he's playing her to get enough against her to put her away. The only way he can do it convincingly is to pretend to turn his back on everyone who is against Annie, so that he can gain her trust. I think nailing Annie would be a whole lot easier if everyone in Pine Valley wasn't trying to play detective and going off on their own to try to trip her up. All they are doing is getting in each other's way. It's like a Keystone Kops movie.
