I was just wondering if anyone watched the last episoed of ER and what they thought of it? It was pretty good I wasn't sure what I was expecting. But it was nice to see old favorites back.

I did watch & I really liked it. I wasn't sure what to expect, but then at the end when Carter asked Rachel if she was coming it was perfect, since thats exaclty what Dr. Green (her dad) said to Carter on the first show. I'm very sad to see it end.

I truly enjoyed the last episode of ER & also enjoyed the hour before when they were interviewing the actors (past & present). I thought it was great that the show ended similar to the way it began.

Benton, Susan, Elizabeth..all looked great, but I think Rachel stole the show. It was good to see that she had turned her life around after the drinking and drugs. I guess Mark did "fix" her when he took her to Hawaii and ultimately passed away there.

Yeah we only got to see him that one time a few episodes back where the man who made the ER what it was came into the hospital.

I loved the episode. It was great how they brought back the core characters. I loved that Benton brought Reese with him. Liked how Chloe was mentioned as well. It is the relationship between Carter and Benton that really got me. Even though Benton tried he couldn't shake the fact that he and Carter had almost a brotherly relationship. I would have love to seen Carter ask them at the after party if they wanted to join the clinic he had built. That would have put the icing on the cake. Defintely that last line will go down with some of the other series endings like MASH with the good-bye in the white stones. Classic. Also loved the episode where Carter was getting the kidney. They had Doug and Carol on the episode as well. Would loved for them to know that it was going to Carter. Felt the writers dropped the balll there.

I did love the restrospective show before it was great to see all the old faves like Ramono he always had some great classic lines. I don't remember Chleo remind me again who she was. And I did love how they had Rachel in it was the only way we got mark back. He's the character i missed the most. I loved the show they did this year with doctor banfield remembering the day her son died. i liked the show more for mark than anything. Also how did susan leave? that was in my not watching faze. last i remember she had a baby with chuck i think his name was.

Cleo was the doctor that was dating Benton. They left together so that Benton wouldn't lose custody of Reese, they went into the private sector where Benton's hours would be more conducive to raising his son. I think Cleo was leaving & talked Benton into going w/ her. If I'm not mistaken she was a peds doctor.Don't know how or when Susan left because after Noah Wylie left I didn't really keep up w/it unless I caught a re-run on TNT.I loved the character of Mark Greene & when he died on the show, omg. I still cry at the re-runs. My late husband was always being asked if anyone ever told him that he looked liked Anthony Edwards. I lost my husband to cancer about a year or so before Anthony Edwards left the show so that episode just gets to me every time

Sorry to hear about your husband. After Anthony Edwards left the show wasn't the same for me and I didn't pay attention as much. I got back into it when I found out they put Luka and Abby back together. I still can't remembe Chleo for the life of me. I was watching back then but it's a total blank.

Cleo was played by Michael Michele. She came on after George Clooney left. She really didn't have a lot of gripping storylines. She was mostly there when Eriq LaSalle announced he was leaving the show. They said in the last episode that the two were still together. Susan left to join another hospital out of state. I believe it was on the east coast to be near her sister Chloe and her niece Susie. I don't know if Chuck and her were still together at the time.

Honestly they could have did the series finale then and left on a high note. They just tried to milk too many things out from the show. Abby and Luka are the one bright spot that did work after Mark died. Benton was dating Cleo around the time George Clooney left the show. After Carla died, Cleo and Peter became serious and fought Roger for custody of Reese. They ultimately won and moved away. Peter and Cleo did make an appreance (digitally done) at Mark's funeral. As far as the audience knows, they are still together. I do have a question---Matthew Watkins played Reese from 1999-2001---was that the original Reese for the last episode? I'd bet my last dollar it was, but I can't find anything out on imDb.

I think it was him. One look at the face & I called my mom & asked her what she thought & we both agree that it was the original Reese which just added to how great the last episode was.
