The tribute that Betty White did to Guiding Light was very nice. Probably the only nice thing about last night.

good lord...WHY wouldI have recorded THIS crap.......sadly I found it to be a big joke.. the ONLY thing that I found exciting in the whole sordid, boring affair was when Susan Lucci was doing her lame, bogus, overly cutsy "marilyn monroe thing".. I kept hoping her tits would fall out so we would have SOME excitment for the TWO HOURS i invested in this drivelling nonsense....Sesame Street was major overkill.....lame..boring..too long.. over kill....waste of at least ten minutes of my time.....the whole "poverty" thing...yet again overkill...I tuned in to watch an AWARD show...not a UNICEF/childrens show/Broadway production....just MY opinion....NOW i know WHY I dont like Vincent Irizarry!

The GL tribute could have been better. The clips segment was too short and all the actors got was a couple of bows. And what does Betty White have to do with GL?! I would have like to have seen some ex-GL-ers who are currently on other shows or have made it in the big leagues to do the tribute instead.

I got a couple of PM's that said, he said he was leaving, and someone smarted off to him and he lost it, then they banned him. Wish I knew the real story. He was nice. Maybe they will let him come back. He and myself were banned once, and they brought us back, so maybe!

Not this time Grazazy.....He made a comment about the awards show and waiting for Susan Lucci's boobs to fall out of her dress while she did her campy 80's style Marilyn Monroe imitation.....Admin apparently didn't care for this and deleted the post.....You know our friend and he said he was done with being censored and would probably not be back.....BUT of course Rubieboo the instigator had to start with him on that thread and it all went down hill from there....this "person" has been sitting and just waiting for the chance to do this as this "person" has started trouble on the Y&R thread before while opening admitting they don't even watch the show.....so the instigator got what she wanted and he was banned.....but what goes around comes around and one day this "person" will get theirs!

I'm sorry. I guess that explains why it has been so quite around here. Where is everyone going? Maybe I will go to. I really dont watch Y&R, but sometimes enjoyed reading the stuff ya'll wrote. It seems no one is even at the B&B and GH threads anymore either. PM me if you can and let me know where everyone has gone.

You are right I do not watch, but I read the recaps. Some have to work. I had every right to be there. He was a hateful man. I might have been a smart azz, but it is not my fault he lost it. That is all on him. HE did not have control of himself, not me. But jsut as in every faucet of life, everyone has to blame someone else. It wont be long and others will be here to replace all of you. And hopefully they will be nicer and more tolerant than him and his followers.

I said I was sorry. It was not meant for you, never heard of you, but if I offended you I am sorry, then. I have decided to take Mala's advice and just try to enjoy myself here and not get mad at people I DO NOT even know, and just because they have a different opinion than me.

I understand that you do not have the time to watch or record the show because of work issues but that you do read all of the recaps and the comments on the forum and for that I don't have a problem. IMO, I do feel that you miss out on a lot by not being able to watch because the actors portrayals of the roles cannot be seen but reading about it. Their facial expressions and what not can really make or break a scene but as I said that is just my opinion.I do have a genuine question for you and I am not trying to start anything but am just asking a question on something in which I observed. Why is it that I have never seen a post from you in regards to the show (Y&R) but rather have only seen you post in an antagonistic way towards others. This recent incident and several months back when you posted on a subject that you really didn't have all of the facts as some of that was done through pm's with certain individuals. I guess I really have two questions. If you truly wanted the Y&R forum to be peaceful then why go out of your way (imo) to throw fuel on the fire?Mala I know you will be reading this and am truly not trying to be disrespectful am just trying to get an honest answer to an honest question.

I don't mind answering. First, I have always read and enjoyed the comments ya'll made about the show, but did not jump in, because I just really don't write that much, I am also at the GH thread but don't speak much there either. To me reading the recaps is like reading a book, you can imagine it all in your head, but it is very impersonal, so I was a little uncomfortable. Just me. But the day Nymph attacked Lab, I don;t know it just really upset me. It was something that had happened time and time again with other posters, but this time it was just particularly nasty. Calling her a drug addict( a very very personal subject with me), among many other things. What can I say it upset me. The only remark I made was "harsh, much" and he and everyone else just lost it, well at that point I felt the need to defend myself so I did. I never meant it to blow up like it did. In fact thinking that Nymph was an adult, I thought he would reread what he said and even say he was sorry, but we all know what happened then. I still read what most write and read the recaps, but never dared to jump in again even with nice words, such as wishing turtle good luck or even the best to you ( I think it was you) when your Mom was sick. I just felt after that happened that anything I said was going to start an uproar, so I keep quiet. I wish none of it had ever happened, but if I ever see someone attacked as harshly as Lab was, I would most likely say something again, because it is just in my nature. I wont apoligize for that, but would maybe try a different approach. I am responsible for the things I said and I know that, but at the same time Nymp is responsible for his own words and actions to, not me. I hope I answered your questions, as I said I am not a very good writer.

I just read what yall said at the Y&R thread, and I promise I am not an instigator. I was reading the recaps here for about 2 yrs. before that happened and before I even signed up. One more thing it was only about 5 months ago that I realized Phyllis was a redhead. I had always pictured her as a brunette. Just another impression I had wrong from not watching the show.

First let me say I'm not a Y&R fan...sorry I get that I'm missing something good...but I've always been a ABC soap girlanyway, I came in late to this mess & I do not know what was said, all I know is that some good fun people are gone.What I do know is are all adults right? Can folks just I'm sorry & move on. Again I don't have a clue what went down here or who said what. I do know that this can be a great place to come & hang out & talk about our shows that we watch & are fans of. Whether the show we have been faithful to for many years is getting on our nerves or making us happy. Notice that even when the show is getting us ticked off, we are still checking in, waiting for things to get back to the good side again. Those of us watching for years & years & more years know this is a cycle, they can be real good & bad. Anyway I miss Destiny & her wonderful humor. Again I have no clue what happend, but I have never seen /read her be any worse than most of us. The same with Nymph. Destiny was a hoot & fun & honest. I miss that & I wish everyone would say they are sorry & let it go & let us go back to having fun.PLEASE!

Okay I have been away, Nmpth was thrown off again? I had no idea. I really don't understand it. This is suppose to be a place you can say things and people can agree and disagree and have friendly arguments, what happened? This is so sad! I don't like that someone said something bad about him but everyone is entitled to an opinion that is what this is all about.

I have no idea who said what to or about whom here, but in other forums, moderators are hit and miss. The fact is that we're dealling in the written word, not spoken and people read into posts more than what may be there or infer a different tone than what was intended. And mods are hit and miss - one person can get away with something that you yourself got nailed for. You just have to suck it up and not take the bait. Don't respond to insults, etc. Be the better person.

I know this issue is being discussed in a few places, and I just want to reiterate that the banning decisions came after months of ongoing conflict and several warnings. And all we want is to try and foster a more peaceful environment from here on out.
