Monday
Amanda told Jake about Fusion, but eventually brought up Taylor. She asked if Jake had a thing for her, but Jake just kissed her passionately. Then he got paged, and had to rush out.
Randi begged Frankie to run away with her. Frankie said he had to go, but promised to come home to her.
Tad assured Angie that Jesse was safe. She shared her concerns about him and Tad tried to reassure her. She told him about the nervous breakdown just before Jesse arrived. Angie told Jesse that she went to see Randi. Tad told him he'd left his cell behind, and Angie said there had been another hang-up. Jesse said he needed her to stay away from his phone.
A doctor came out and told Kendall, Zach, Greenlee and Aidan that Annie had suffered a miscarriage. Meanwhile, Annie told Ryan she was guilty of murder.
It was her fault the baby had died. She told him the truth about faking the car accident, and the bruises. She told him she didn't deserve his forgiveness and asked him to go. Reluctantly, Ryan left. Richie applauded Annie. He taunted her about not confessing to his murder. Annie apologized for killing him, and told Richie she wasn't like him. She insisted he wasn't real and repeated it to herself. When she opened her eyes, he was gone. Ryan joined the gang in the waiting room and said he needed a minute. Aidan gave Greenlee the green light to go after him. Kendall tried to follow her, but Zach stopped her. He called her out on getting Annie worked up, and Kendall left. Alone with Aidan, Zach brought up Aidan's recent trip to help Josh get away, and told him that he had better never see Josh again. Aidan assured him he would not. Ryan told Greenlee about all of Annie's confessions. He blamed himself. He always hurt the people he loved. Greenlee held him. At home, Kendall held Ian and cried.
At the hospital, Jake was informed of Annie's miscarriage. Later, he thought of Taylor. In bed, Taylor tossed and turned. Amanda looked at Taylor's uniform.
Tuesday
Greenlee thanked Aidan for what he did for Ryan. She talked about how bad she felt for Annie, and about her own miscarriage. That was why she didn't want to have children — she couldn't go through that pain again. Meanwhile, Kendall told Zach that he blamed her for Annie's miscarriage, which he denied. She talked about how Annie was taking advantage of Ryan. Zach couldn't believe she refused to cut Annie a break, even after she just lost her baby. When Kendall continued, Zach got up and left the room.
Annie checked out of the hospital, and Babe and JR came to take her home.
Ryan showed up, and Babe and JR left them alone. They talked about how to tell Emma, and Annie said she wanted to tell her on her own. Ryan told her the miscarriage was not her fault. Babe and JR came back in and took Annie out. At home, they got Annie settled in and then left her alone. JR told Babe he was going to see his father. He worried Adam was going to try to take Fusion out from under them. He apologized for involving Adam in the first place. Babe kissed him and wished him luck.
Ryan went to Cambias, and Zach asked if he wanted to talk about it. Ryan said he wanted to find a way to say goodbye to the baby, with Annie. Zach asked what he was doing at the office then.
Corrina brought Emma home and Annie greeted her. Emma brought up the "new baby." Emma noticed Annie was crying and gave her a hug. Ryan walked in and Emma happily greeted him. Ryan said he wanted to tell Emma together, and Annie agreed. They sat down with her, and explained that the baby had gotten sick, and had gone to Heaven. Emma asked if she would be taken to Heaven also. They assured her that wouldn't happen. Ryan suggested the three of them go plant a tree together at the park, in memory of the baby. They went out and did it.
At the Yacht Club, Erica met with Lou to talk about going back to NEW BEGINNINGS. He let her know that he was thinking of canceling the show. He said the shows she did with Jackson had very good ratings, but she let him know her relationship with Jackson was over, and he wasn't coming back on the show. At another table, JR joined Adam, who was enjoying listening to Erica's conversation. JR told Adam he was having second thoughts about Babe being able to take over Fusion from the inside. Adam suggested JR stop second guessing her. JR left, and called Babe. Adam smiled to himself, and got back to watching Erica put Lou in his place. Lou told Erica he would give her to the end of sweeps. After he left, Adam joined her. He annoyed her and she stormed off, but not before she tried to throw his coffee in his lap.
Kendall arrived at Fusion, followed soon after by Greenlee. Amanda brought them up to date on Bella, explaining how well the orders were doing. Greenlee congratulated them, but Kendall still had an attitude about it. Amanda asked if Fusion would be willing to cover the cost of doubling the order and Greenlee was about to say yes when Kendall said absolutely not. Babe arrived and everyone questioned what Kendall was thinking. Kendall explained that not only would Fusion finance doubling the order, but they would finance quadrupling it. Knowing that Kendall's behavior was odd, Greenlee took her aside and told her that no one blamed her for Annie's miscarriage. Kendall talked about her and Zach's problems stemming from the situation with Josh. Greenlee left, and Kendall picked up Babe's PDA and saw a message from JR saying Adam was playing dumb re: the Fusion takeover. Kendall called Greenlee's cell and left a message.
When Babe came back in, Kendall showed her the message. Babe told her she hadn't wanted to say anything until she had proof, but she and JR suspected Adam was trying to take over Fusion. She said JR was trying to get information out of him. Kendall told Babe to tell JR to back off — she would take care of it her way.
Greenlee went to talk to Zach. She suggested he try a little harder with his wife. He told Greenlee he was fed up with Kendall trying to live other people's lives. He thought maybe their life together wasn't enough for her.
Pete came to the mansion looking for Adam. JR caught him and asked why he wanted to see Adam. Pete said he was really there to see Colby; he wanted to take her to brunch. JR told him Colby wasn't interested, but he was — in why he was hanging around Adam so much. JR warned he didn't want to find him in his house uninvited again, and threw him out. Pete called Adam and told him that he made a vat of Blast, and that the first shipment of Bella was arriving at Fusion that day. Meanwhile, Babe rushed home and told JR that Kendall had seen the message, and that she had ratted out Adam to save them. JR thought that might work for them.
Kendall went over to Erica's and told her about Annie, but then quickly changed the conversation to Adam.
Wednesday
Carmen talked to the furniture while she cleaned. Adam noted that she seemed particularly “demented” that day, and Carmen told him it was her birthday. She has a boyfriend, and it’s going to be her best birthday yet. They talked about Jackson, while elsewhere, Greenlee was helping Jack pick Carmen’s birthday present, looking through various pieces of jewelry. They discussed his relationship with Carmen, and Greens pointed out that he’s been smiling more than he ever did with Erica.
Kendall asked Erica to seduce Adam. Erica was appalled, and Kendall explained that Adam was trying to take over Fusion. Erica had a hard time believing Adam was after the cosmetics company. She decided it was really all about her — Adam was just trying to get to her. Erica told Kendall to “leave the snake” to her. After Kendall left, Opal brought over a rack of clothes that were apparently sent over from a store. Erica told Opal she was choosing one for Carmen for her birthday, which shocked Opal. Erica said Opal was right, Carmen had betrayed her, and she was furious. Erica assured Opal she was using Carmen. Then she pulled a sexy dress of the rack for herself. Later, Opal ran into Jackson at the Yacht Club, and thought he was there to see Erica. He told her he was not, and that he was dating someone — Carmen. Opal suspected he was dating Carmen to get Erica back, but Jack insisted that was not the case. He was sure Erica would be seeing someone new soon, and he hoped she would be happy.
Dre came over to the manse to see Colby, who expressed how thrilled she was that his name was cleared. They talked about Cass, and Dre made it clear how much he missed her. Pete joined them and Colby told him she wasn’t interested and shut the door in his face. He followed them into the house, unnoticed, and put a bottle he was carrying on a table in the foyer. In the backyard, Dre told Colby about joining his dad on the campaign trail. Colby told him she would miss him and they hugged. Pete stormed in and accused Colby of hitting on Dre. He refused to leave and give them the chance to hook up. Meanwhile, in the foyer, Carmen got a paper cut while opening mail. Adam used whatever was in the bottle Pete left on the table to clean the cut. Colby rushed in with Dre and Pete and said Pete was spying on her. Pete got very concerned when he noticed the top was off the bottle he brought in. Adam explained that he used it on Carmen’s cut, and Pete made it clear (though only to Adam) that it was Blast. Carmen collapsed. Pete said it was his fault — the bottle wasn’t full of peroxide, it was something Opal made to clean up the bad vibes from Adam’s aura. Carmen came to, and assured Colby that she was okay. Colby walked Dre out, and Adam laid into Pete, who rushed out. Carmen began undressing and walked into the backyard. Erica ran into Colby and Dre at the front door. Dre thanked her for being there for his dad. Erica said she was there to see Carmen, and Colby told her about the paper cut. Erica went inside, where she found Carmen, soaked, in her clothes, just out of the pool. Colby came in behind her, equally shocked. Carmen assured everyone she wouldn’t jump back in the pool. Erica told Carmen she came to say happy birthday, and Carmen started to sob. Colby and Adam excused themselves. As Carmen tried on the dress Erica bought for her, Erica wondered if she was drunk. Jack arrived with flowers and a gift for Carmen, who rushed into his arms as Erica looked on. Carmen went to fix her dress, and Jackson questioned Erica’s motives. Erica played coy. Carmen came back in and grabbed her gift from Jack. She opened it, and Erica said Jack had outdone himself. Jack helped Carmen put the bracelet on, and they left to go out to dinner, leaving Erica alone. Adam walked in as Erica was bending over and Adam smacked her butt, saying he thought she was Carmen, which left Erica quite insulted.
Babe and Amanda greeted the arrival of the Bella shipment. Kendall and Greenlee arrived as Amanda and Babe raised a toast to Bella. Kendall was a downer once again. When they were alone, Kendall told Greenlee she had done something huge for Fusion, without expanding. Greenlee told Kendall she had talked to Zach, and they were both worried about her. There was so much drama going on. Greenlee said she was there for her. Kendall told her she just wanted to fix things, and Zach kept telling her she was meddling. She wondered why Greenlee wasn’t right there with her. Greenlee explained that she had learned sometimes it was okay to let things go. Kendall swore she was fine. Under her breath, Greenlee called her a liar. Kendall decided to fill Greenlee in on the situation with Adam. Greenlee was shocked. Kendall told her she asked Erica to get to the bottom of it, and Greenlee thought that was a bad idea. Kendall convinced her to let Erica do her thing.
Pete told Adam he wanted to taint Bella himself. Adam insisted he was going to use his own men, and when he wasn’t looking, Pete grabbed the bottle of Blast and ran off. Adam was not happy when he realized it was gone. Meanwhile, Pete lurked by the Bella shipment. Adam called his cell, and Pete told him he was taking care of business, and hung up. Adam called back, but Pete ignored the call. Amanda caught Pete just as he cut open a box.
Thursday
Ryan stopped by the Chandler manse to check on Emma. Annie said she was doing okay, and asked if he'd like to see her. Ryan visited with Emma, and she asked about the tree. Ryan told her they would chart its growth. He said goodnight to her, and Annie sent her upstairs. After a brief conversation, Ryan left.
Pete introduced himself to Amanda, and said he was there to visit Annie, but he just wanted to see what all the hooplah was about Bella. He tried to leave, but she stopped him and brought him to see Kendall and Greenlee. Upstairs, Greenlee wondered how reliable Erica would be, but Kendall told her not to worry about it. Greenlee mentioned involving Zach, but Kendall said no way. Amanda marched in with Pete, and told them what she had caught him doing. He told them he came to see Annie and he wasn't sneaking around, he just entered the building through the back by the loading docks. He said he was interested in working at Fusion. Kendall told him they didn't have any positions available, and Greenlee told him in the future if he was looking for a job, he should use the front door. Babe and JR arrived as Pete was leaving, and JR took the elevator back down with him after dropping Babe off. Babe told Kendall and Greenlee about how Pete's been hanging around with Adam. Greenlee ran downstairs to catch him. She brought him back up, and they told him they were ready to offer him an internship. He agreed he would start tomorrow morning. After he was gone, Kendall suggested they could find out what Adam was up to through Pete.
Erica insisted her butt looked nothing like Carmen's. Adam teased her about Jack and Carmen. She said she was happy for them. They talked about their history together. Babe and JR interrupted their conversation, and when they left, Erica and Adam talked about their relationship, and then argued over their own former feelings for each other. Adam thought Erica was playing a game. He asked her to have dinner with him, and Erica said no. She needed advance notice, and a phone call. As Erica was about to leave, Adam called her cell and asked if he could take her out to dinner that night. She smiled and agreed. Adam walked Erica to the door, where they discovered Carmen and Jack kissing. Carmen was still loopy, and said goodnight before going to bed. Adam let Jack know he was taking Erica out to dinner. Jack walked Erica to her car, and warned her that Adam always had ulterior motives. She told him it was none of his business, and he agreed and said goodnight.
Colby caught Pete in the backyard. She wanted to know what he was really up to. Pete apologized for accusing her of hitting on Dre. She accepted. Adam joined them. After Colby left, Pete admitted to Adam that he'd been caught at Fusion. He told Adam that he had covered by saying he was looking for a job, and they gave him an internship. Adam thought that was great, and told Pete he would let him taint Bella himself.
Angie told Tad she wanted him to find out what was going on with Jesse, and Tad reluctantly agreed. Jesse came home, and they told him they had been talking about Frankie. Jesse thought they should leave Frankie alone. Jesse invited Tad to stay for dinner. Angie went to freshen up, and Jesse asked what the two of them were really talking about. Tad said he had come to talk to Angie because Jesse had been behaving oddly. Jesse said there were some things at work he couldn't talk to them about. Angie came back out and admitted she was the one who asked Tad to come over, because she wanted to figure out what was going on with Jesse. Jesse told Angie if she had a problem she should come to him, not involve Tad. After Tad left, Angie apologized, and Jesse told her not to do that again. Angie brought up his past. He told her that his past had nothing to do with them today, and walked out.
At Fusion, Kendall continued to be grouchy and Greenlee accused Kendall of focusing on other people's lives to avoid her own problems. Zach had told her that Kendall wasn't happy. Meanwhile, Ryan went back to Cambias to work.
Zach told Ryan he was going home to see his family, and Ryan told him to tell Spike he was going to come to see him soon. Zach told him not to be so hard on himself, and left. After Zach left, Kendall came by looking for him.
Ryan told her Zach and gone home. Kendall told him she wanted to be there for him, and he insisted he wanted to be alone. She said if he wouldn't talk to her, he should find someone else to talk to. She admitted she had enough of her own problems to deal with, and she probably shouldn't be worrying about his. With that, she left.
At the manse, Emma was crying because she was missing Ryan. JR helped Annie calm her down. He brought her to the kitchen to get ice cream. Annie and Babe talked about JR and Babe getting back on track, and Babe told Annie to not to give up hope that it could happen for her too. Later, when Babe and JR were in bed together, Babe told JR how much she loved him and how happy she was. JR got out of the bed and got down on his knees. He said he wanted them to spend their lives together, and asked her to marry him, again.
Kendall came home and told Zach that they needed to have it out. She couldn't believe that he'd told Greenlee she was unhappy in their marriage. He asked if it was true.
Greenlee ran into Ryan at ConFusion. Ryan told Greens that Kendall thought she was the only one he could share his feelings with. He went to leave, but stopped and blurted out all the things that were bothering him. She reached out to him. Back at the manse, Annie sat with Emma and told her everything was going to be fine. Meanwhile, someone watched her from outside.
Friday
Babe said yes to JR’s proposal. Once they got dressed and went downstairs, they talked about having the wedding at the house. They were discussing Bella when the power went out. JR left her to go check the fuse box. As Babe lit a candle, she saw a figure in the backyard. It was Annie, who apologized for scaring her. Babe told her that she still feared Richie, even though he was dead. Annie assured her they had nothing to fear anymore, but then a figure appeared at the back door. The door opened and it was just JR. JR and Babe told Annie the big news, and then headed off to bed, leaving Annie by herself. She began hearing Richie’s voice, and ran outside screaming for Richie to go away.
Tad told Aidan he wanted him to investigate Jesse, because of how oddly he’d been acting. He explained what had been going on with the phone calls and hang ups. Aidan wondered if Jesse was having an affair. Tad insisted that was not the case.
Kendall told Zach that of course she was happy with him. She accused him of doing the same thing he gave her a hard time about by talking to Greenlee about her. Ryan followed her, and he told her how much pain he was in. They continued to argue, and Kendall stormed out.
Aidan called Greenlee and left her a message saying she needed to come home — he had a surprise for her. Meanwhile, Greenlee was with Ryan at ConFusion. Greenlee rushed away from him when he expressed his feelings for her. He followed her and told her he was in love with her, and she told him to stop. Tearfully, Greenlee reminded him of how badly he had hurt her. She told him she couldn’t be the person he turned to for comfort anymore. She loved Aidan. Ryan told her to forget everything he had just said, that they were both moving on. He left, and Kendall walked up to Greenlee. Greens laid into her for sending Ryan her way. She told Kendall she loved Aidan, and if Kendall wanted to help Ryan, she had to do it herself. Kendall said fine and stalked off. Ryan, meanwhile, went home to the empty penthouse. When Greenlee got home, she discovered Aidan had set up a candlelit dinner for her.
Adam told Pete he had to make his move tonight. Meanwhile, Erica warned Opal that Pete had been hanging out with Adam. Opal couldn’t believe it, and said she would take care of it. Erica told Opal she was going out with Adam that night. Opal begged her not to. Adam arrived to pick her up, and Opal looked on in horror as they flirted away.
Pete came home and told Palmer about his new internship at Fusion. Opal rushed in and told Palmer about Pete hanging out at the Chandler manse. Pete admitted he had a crush on Colby. Palmer was not happy, and proceeded to ground Pete and take away his car keys. Later, Opal did a reading with her cards and jumped up, concerned about Pete. Meanwhile, Pete had snuck out of the house. He went down to the loading docks, opened a box and tainted the product. As he packed up and went to leave, he was struck by lightening.
At dinner, Erica was affected by the ongoing thunderstorm. Eventually she became so frightened she ran out. Adam caught up with her, and Erica told him she’d been scared of thunderstorms ever since she was a little girl. He told her he had fears, too — that he was afraid of letting people in. But he didn’t want to be alone.
Back at home, Kendall got Spike dressed. She told Zach she was going to take him to spend the night with Ryan, because she didn’t want Ryan to be alone. When Ian woke up crying, Zach held him and told him his mom would be home soon. When Kendall arrived at Ryan’s, she found him asleep on the couch. She put Spike down next to him, and he woke up and embraced his son.
