Monday
Annie confronted Richie about being sick. Ryan followed her into Richie's office, and Annie told both of them that Babe had found Richie's pills for leukemia. Ryan immediately said it was a lie, and Richie agreed, and left them alone. Ryan continued to insist that Richie was not sick. Annie was bothered by the knowledge that her brother being sick didn't make her feel anything. Ryan told her that until they had proof, they have to assume it was a scam. He called Joe and asked how to test for leukemia.
Adam thought Erica had to be desperate to come to him for help, and asked who it was she was trying to put away. She refused to tell him, but he guessed on his own. Erica insisted that Greenlee was truly a threat to Kendall. Adam signed on, and they began plotting right away. Adam made a phone call and had someone start the paperwork.
Kendall was shocked when she realized it was Zach standing over her rather than Greenlee. Zach was surprised that Kendall was meeting with Greenlee, particularly with Spike. She explained it was for business, but agreed she shouldn't have brought Spike. He reached into her bag and pulled out a gun.
Kendall explained that she was convinced Greenlee was still plotting, and Zach said he thought a gun was extreme. They went home, and after Zach put Spike down for a nap, he told Kendall that she was brave, but whatever she was planning with Greenlee had to stop. She apologized, but didn't tell him what her plans were.
Greenlee confronted JR, and he said he would only tell her everything he knew if she gave him Ava — and all Greenlee's stock in Fusion. She laughed in his face and refused. JR continued to press her, and she smacked him across the face. He told her she had 24 hours to make a decision, then left. Greenlee sat and cried.
Richie showed up at ConFusion and asked Babe why she was getting involved in his life. Babe told him she couldn't help but care about him, but he refused to tell her whether he was sick or not. After he left, JR came out and asked if he could take Little Adam pumpkin picking.
Tuesday
Julia walked in as Zach and Kendall visited with Ian. She told them Joe wanted to see them in his office about Spike.
At her apartment, Greenlee admitted to Aidan that she'd met with JR and he demanded her shares of Fusion in return for the location of her eggs. Aidan wasn't convinced JR was telling the truth, and offered to try to find the eggs without him. Greenlee thanked Aidan for his help, but worried going behind JR's back would make the situation even worse. She also said that if she got the embryos back it didn't mean she would actually use them. However, they belonged to her, and she felt they should be in her possession. Aidan thought it was important she fill Ryan in on everything, but she told him she wasn't ready, and he respected her decision. Greenlee expressed how grateful she was for his support.
JR flirted and explained his business plans to Ava, who told JR she was done with him. He accused her of running because she wanted him, and told her he felt those feelings too. He suggested she come home with him, and she turned him down and walked away. Ava called Jonathan and told him to meet her right away.
Jon showed up at Ryan and Annie's to tell them about his engagement to Ava.
Ryan said that if Jon loved her then they were happy for him. Kendall and Zach came over with a report on Spike: He was going to be able to get the implants. Everyone was thrilled, and even more so when they shared that Ian would be coming home. Conversation turned back to Jonathan's wedding, and Jon asked Ryan to be his best man. After getting a phone call from Ava, Jon left. While everyone else chatted, Greenlee showed up looking to speak to Ryan, clearly surprised to see everyone there.
Jonathan walked into Wildwind, and Ava immediately grabbed him and kissed him.
She asked if they could get married as soon as possible. Before he had a chance to check a calendar she pushed him down on the bed.
Tad walked into The Comeback and ordered a coffee. Right behind him was Hannah, and Krystal could see that something was up with them. Krystal pointed out that Tad didn't look like he slept, and he told her that was because he hadn't. Julia came in and asked Tad to join her at a table and he immediately obliged. He told Julia about his night with Hannah, while at the bar, Hannah told Krystal that if she were in her shoes and had to choose between Tad and Adam, there would be no contest. Krystal told Hannah she had no problem with Hannah seeing Tad. Tad wrapped up his conversation with Julia, and walked to the bar and kissed Hannah. He told her they needed to accept that had really just used each other and Hannah bristled. He quickly took it back, and asked her out to dinner that night.
Aidan walked up to JR outside The Comeback and punched him in the face.
Wednesday
JR pulled himself up, and Aidan laid into him for what he'd been doing to
Greenlee. JR told him to back off; he wasn't the one who stole the embryos.
Aidan told him he wasn't even convinced the embryos still existed. JR accused Aidan of wanting to destroy the embryos himself in order to stop Greenlee from carrying Ryan's baby. Aidan, of course, denied this, and demanded the location of the embryos. JR taunted Aidan with the news that he had the eggs. Greenlee joined them and declared that she no longer wanted the embryos. JR couldn't believe what he was hearing. Aidan took great delight in JR's anger. Aidan and Greenlee kissed. Greenlee told Aidan that all her thoughts of revenge were gone. Greenlee was finishing up her conversation with declarations that "no one can stop me." Kendall heard those words and immediately thought that Greenlee still wanted Spike.
Earlier at Ryan's place, Ryan asked Greenlee what she wanted. She said she'd come back another time when everyone wasn't there. But before she could go, Kendall, Zach and Annie excused themselves. Once they were alone, Greenlee told Ryan they had to talk about babies and the night of the blackout. Ryan wondered why she wanted to move backward, and she told him she'd been thinking about how life would be if things had gone differently and they had a child together. She thought he should know that. Ryan apologized for not supporting her when she wanted to have kids. She asked how he would feel if that child did exist. He said he didn't know, because if they had a child she never would have left Pine Valley, and a lot of things would be different. Regardless, he would love the child the same way he loved Emma and Spike, though, he pointed out, it was no longer an option for many reasons. Greenlee said she knew that, but wondered if that child would make a difference in the difficulties she was having with Kendall. Ryan reminded her that she was not, nor would she ever be, a part of their family — the world she was envisioning could never be a reality. They both agreed there were several what-if scenarios they wished could be true. Ryan told her Spike was going to be able to get the implants and she was thrilled. He also said she should know he didn't hate her. He knew he helped put her in the position where she felt like she had to run with Spike. He hoped that she could find happiness again. "Take. Reinvent. Apply," was Ryan's suggestion as a way to live life.
At Cambias, Lily tried to update Zach on work, but she could tell he was
distracted. Zach told her that Spike could get the implants, and Lily was
happy he would be able to hear again. She told him she was excited because
she'd met a man named Richard. Lily knew there was something making Zach
unhappy as well as happy. He said that he had a solution to his problem, but
it was making him as unhappy as the problem itself. He told her he would do
anything to protect his family. Josh interrupted their conversation,
thrilled to hear about Spike's surgery.
At her office, Erica spoke with someone regarding the involuntary commitment
of Greenlee Smythe, and then sat and fantasized about putting Greenlee away.
In her daydream, Greenlee walked into her office, and said she knew Erica
wanted to know what she had been talking about with Jack. Kendall burst
in, saying that Greenlee needed to pay. Erica told her she'd already taken
care of it, just as two men came in with a straitjacket. Greenlee fought
them, but they tied her up and took her away. Kendall thanked her mother.
The real Kendall walked in and broke Erica's reverie. She shared the good
news about Spike, and also that Greenlee showed up at Ryan's right as she
delivered the good news to him. Erica told her to beware of Greenlee, but not to be afraid of her. "I do not trust that girl at all," her mother told her. "She will be stopped in time," Erica continued. Erica suggested they both keep their distance from Greenlee. Erica forged Mary Smythe's signature to make sure Greenlee would be committed. Barry, Erica's attorney, reminded her that forgery was a federal offense. Erica said she would do anything to protect her daughter and her family.
Annie showed up at Richie's office and thanked him for the research he had
done on Spike's surgery. Now Spike was going to be able to have the implants. She tried to give him information she gotten on leukemia treatments at Pine Valley U but he wasn't interested. He continued to deny being sick. After Annie announced she was no longer afraid of him, he replied, "What if I am dying, what if it's all over? What better way to go than to take you with me." Richie recounted some of the misery he had experienced in prison. Annie thought he was already dead in his heart.
Thursday
Kendall overheard Greenlee and Aidan's conversation at the worst possible moment, cementing her decision to continue with her plans. She quickly departed to get to work. Meanwhile, Greenlee told Aidan how crazy she must have sounded, and thanked Aidan for sticking by her until she decided it was time to let go of her embryos. Aidan suggested they celebrate, and they headed home.
Babe talked to Krystal about being stuck between Annie and Richie, and explained that Richie was dying but Annie refused to believe it. Krystal warned Babe to stay away from Richie, whether he was sick or not.
Ryan grabbed Richie and cuffed him. He showed Annie the pictures Richie had sent to her of them as children, and Annie seemed moved. Ryan warned her not to fall into his trap. Annie insisted on going with them, and they headed to the plane, where Ryan bound Richie to a seat. A doctor walked in and pulled out a needle. Ryan pointed out that if they tested him for leukemia at 10,000 feet, Richie had nowhere to go, and therefore couldn't mess with the results.
Kendall broke into a room in the hospital with Spike. Julia caught her, but Kendall quickly spun a cover story. After Julia left, Kendall got back to work and grabbed a bottle of chloroform. They headed to the boathouse where Kendall laid out her plan for Spike. Although Spike couldn't comment, someone else did: Simone. Kendall reminded "Simone" that she was dead, but continued to chat with her anyway. "Simone" warned her that hurting Greenlee would be hurting herself. Kendall defended her plot, insisting Greenlee had plans to go after Spike, and shooed "Simone" away.
Zach pulled out of his deal with JR when he found out that Greenlee wasn't interested in the embryos. JR, of course, was devastated, and attempted to blackmail Zach with the information that he attempted this plot. Zach hardly dignified that with an answer, and left.
After making love, Greenlee told Aidan that he had been right about everything. Aidan fell asleep, and Greenlee cuddled with him until her phone rang. It was Kendall, asking that she come meet her at the boathouse because she was having trouble deciding if she should let Spike get the implants. Greenlee got dressed and left to meet her, but not before whispering in a sleeping Aidan's ear that she loved him.
Greenlee arrived at the boathouse and told Kendall that all she needed to do was look at Spike's face and there was no doubt what she should do. Kendall agreed.
Zach walked into his office to find Aidan sitting at his desk in the dark.

Friday
Babe grabbed a drink out of JR's hand, which turned out to be for another customer. She apologized, and JR said it was good to know she still cared. He admitted that even though the drink wasn't his he wanted it very badly, and explained that his plans for Ava fell through. Babe did her best to boost his mood. JR told her he was happy to hear she was staying away from Richie. He just wanted her to be happy and was sorry Richie disappointed her. A mechanic told JR that his car needed to be towed, and Babe offered to drive him home. She came aboard the yacht for a tour, and as they reminisced they fell into a kiss, which Babe pulled back from. However, she quickly caved and leaned back in. Soon they were in bed. Erica set up a romantic evening for her and Jack. As they settled in, Erica got a call confirming Greenlee's commitment for the next day. After getting off the phone, she reminded Jack how much she loved him. Jack asked if there was something on her mind. She insisted there was not, and asked him to make love to her. Kendall told Greenlee how worried she was about Spike. Greenlee let her know she was there for her whenever she needed her. She expressed her desire for them to return to the relationship they once had, both as friends and business partners. Kendall got a phone call (which she initiated herself) and claimed Zach was in an accident and she needed to rush to the hospital. She asked Greenlee to stay with Spike, which clearly freaked Greens out. After putting Spike in her frenemy's arms, Kendall left. Outside the boathouse, Kendall called 911 and told them her baby had been kidnapped. Then she listened at the door as Greenlee told Spike how happy Kendall had made her. She took out her phone as if thinking of retracting her 911 call, but changed her mind when she heard Greenlee call herself Spike's "second mom." She chloroformed herself just as the police arrived. As they woke her up, she cried, "She took my baby." Aidan asked Zach if the story JR told of Greenlee's embryos involved any truth, and Zach dodged the question. Aidan warned him there would be consequences for what he did to Greenlee. Zach was highly amused by all this. Aidan asked if he was finished with Greenlee or if this was just the beginning. Zach told him that as far as he was concerned it was over, and Aidan said if he went after her again he would kill him. Before Aidan left, Zach suggested that if he really cared about Greenlee, he'd get her to leave town. Zach got a call, and he quickly rushed out of the room as he told Aidan that Greenlee had taken Spike. The police burst into the boathouse with guns pointing at Greenlee, demanding she put the boy down. Greens handed him over, but insisted Kendall would explain this was a mistake. Zach and Aidan arrived at the scene as the police led her out of the boathouse. A confused Greenlee asked Kendall what was going on, and was devastated when she realized Kendall had set the whole thing up. Richie told Ryan and Annie that he faked having leukemia to get Babe. Ryan still felt they needed proof one way or another. Annie began to panic as Richie taunted her, and Ryan worked to calm her. Richie asked to use the rest room and Ryan removed his cuffs. Richie came back from the bathroom as the pilot walked in, and Richie grabbed him and put him in a headlock. He announced they were going to do things his way now.
