AMC Week of November 19, 2007
Monday
Ryan and Jonathan were frustrated when they showed up at Tommy's apartment
and it was empty. Ryan called Annie with the bad news. She then opened her
door to find Richie, who claimed to want to call a truce. He claimed Babe
with his turn-around and Annie accused him of trying to snow her. Richie did
a good job of convincing Annie that his feelings for Babe are sincere. She
begged Richie not to hurt Babe.... Ryan defended Jonathan when Jon compared
himself to Richie. Jon stressed to Ryan that Richie wouldn't back down
without a fight. Ryan returned home and demanded that Richie get away from
Annie.
Greenlee steered an injured Zach to the house in the woods. Before they
arrived, though, they fell down a hole. Eventually, Greens and Zach came to.
"Where the hell are we?" grumbled Zach.
Kendall and Erica frantically searched for Zach as Derek and his fellow boys
in blue arrested Aidan and Jack. The groups collided and Kendall freaked
out, fearing that Greenlee had done something to hurt Zach. Aidan was
equally worried that Zach had hurt Greenlee.... Jack asked Kendall if she
intended to come clean at Greenlee's arraignment. A blame game ensued
between Kendall, Jack, Erica and Aidan. Derek read them all the riot act for
trying to interfere with his investigation. Kendall pocketed a piece of
evidence she found: a photo of JR, Babe and Little Adam.
At The Comeback, Ava made her disapproval of a soused JR obvious to him. JR
pressed Ava on why she knows so much about alcoholism and she opened up
about being sexually involved with abusive drinkers. JR, in turn, opened up
about his own battle with the booze. The two shared some nice moments as
they grew closer. Ava was alone by the time Jon joined her and she, of
course, did not reveal to him how she'd passed the time waiting for him....
JR opened his car door and was alarmed to find blood on the seat.
Tuesday
Zach and Greenlee regained consciousness and came to realize that they were
in an abandoned bomb shelter. They sought, but failed to find, a way out.
Trapped together and searching for an exit, they exchanged accusations and
insults. Greens was worried about Zach's injuries, which were far more
extensive than hers. She found a first aid kit and tended to his wounds.
Ryan threw Richie out of the penthouse when he found his wife and
brother-in-law together. Annie tried to convince a dubious Ryan that
Richie's feelings for Babe are sincere — and could be used to their advantage.
Ryan proposed that they invite Richie to Thanksgiving to try to suss out
what his game is.
Richie brought flowers to Babe at The Comeback and they ended up sharing
another kiss. When Annie called to invite him and Babe to Thanksgiving, he
was suspicious but accepted and talked Babe into attending, too. Richie had
a flashback of the hit and run.... Colby sat down at a table with Adam and
Tad and did her best to broker a truce between Tad and Adam, just for one
night — specifically, Thanksgiving — in the hopes of having the Chandler and
Martins coexist peacefully for a holiday meal. "Fine," the men grumbled.
The peace was short-lived when Adam and Tad broke into another argument over
Krystal.
Kendall confronted JR on his yacht with the photo of JR, Babe and Little
Adam that she'd found at the scene of Zach's apparent accident. JR adamantly
denied to Kendall that he'd hit Zach with his car, but admitted that he'd
been drunk and blacked out and had no memory of the events of the previous
night. Kendall dragged JR with her to the crash site in the hopes that it
would jar his memory. He couldn't recall anything, so a frustrated Kendall
told Derek about finding the family photo. Derek was unable to arrest JR but
was eager to find more evidence against him.... JR called Barry and asked
him to make his car disappear, quickly.
Wednesday
Erica and Pam welcomed special guest Celine Dion to NEW BEGINNINGS. Celine
expressed her sympathies over Erica's current family crisis.
Krystal and Jenny went to The Comeback for Thanksgiving dinner. Babe arrived
and broke the news that she'd be spending the holiday elsewhere. JR, Amanda,
Adam, Tad, Ruth and Opal filed in. Tad was disgusted watching Adam cozy up
to Krystal and Jenny. Amanda was cold to Babe because of Babe's fling with
JR; Amanda departed. JR felt guilty when Tad congratulated him on his sobriety.
Krystal was upset about Babe's decision to dine with Richie. Hannah showed
up and was delighted when Tad was kind to her.... Colby, Sean, Dre, Ren,
Corrina, and Jack came to dinner.
At the hospital, Kendall spent time with Ian and Spike and prayed for Zach's
safe return. Ryan came by to support Kendall and to assure her that he was
still her friend. After spending some time at the crash site, Kendall met
Josh and Erica at the hospital and prepared to take Ian home.
In the bomb shelter, Zach and Greenlee were desperate to be rescued. Zach's
condition was deteriorating, concerning Greenlee.... Richie went to the
scene of the accident to try to cover his tracks. Jack, Derek and Aidan were
combing the area, as well. When Erica called to spend the holiday with her,
he was distracted and hung up. Kendall and Ryan joined the search efforts,
as well.... After an encounter with a bizarre vagabond sort, Richie (whose
own health was failing) found the pit Zach and Greenlee had tumbled into.
Greenlee was ecstatic, thinking she was about to rescued.... Aidan searched
frantically for his lady love.... Derek got more evidence against JR.
Babe and Little Adam showed up for Thanksgiving at the penthouse. Ryan came
home and Annie admitted to Babe that she is hoping to use Richie's feelings
for Babe against him.
Amanda visited Janet, who was overjoyed to see her daughter.
