AMC Week of Nov. 5, 2007
Monday
Ryan and Annie freaked when Richie took the pilot of the plane they were
aboard hostage. The doctor entered the cabin and confirmed to the group that
Richie is dying of leukemia. Richie let the pilot go after he lost
consciousness. "Looks like we're all terminal now!" crowed Richie. Ryan
lunged for him and a violent brawl ensued. Ryan and Annie raced to the
cockpit after Ryan knocked Richie out and Ryan reached the flight control
tower, who talked him through landing the plane safely.... Richie threatened
to have Ryan, the pilot and the doctor arrested. Annie demanded to know why
Richie would want to leave Emma an orphan. Richie wouldn't give a straight
answer.
Greenlee was completely confused when Kendall accused her of kidnapping
Spike. Suddenly, it dawned on her that Kendall set her up. As Zach and Aidan
looked on, Greenlee was placed under arrest for the assault and kidnapping
of Spike. Aidan contested the story Kendall spun, insisting to Derek,
"Kendall is doing this to get revenge!" Kendall denied the accusation but
privately gloated to Greenlee that Greens was finally going to pay for what
she'd done to Spike. At the station, Greens and Aidan were stunned as the
police proffered more and more evidence (planted by Kendall) that implicated
Greenlee.... Aidan accused Zach and Kendall of having plotted against
Greens.
Jack and Erica were making passionate love when Aidan called Jack with the
bad news about Greenlee. Aidan assured Jack that Greens was innocent; Jack
leaped out of bed to head down to the station. Erica placed a call to Barry
once Jack left and learned that Greenlee had not been committed. Erica was
distraught that Kendall had framed Greenlee.... Jack arrived at the station
to confer with his client, Greenlee, who swore to him that she is innocent.
Greens reported that Kendall had framed her. She gave her version of events
(the truth) to Derek while Kendall delivered her own false report to Lt.
Perry. Erica arrived and ran to Zach's side.... Aidan lost his cool
defending Greens's honor and was told to leave the station.... Jack accused
Erica of having known the whole thing was going to go down. After Kendall
signed her statement, Zach confronted her: "Tell me what's really going on."
Tad and Hannah enjoyed a flirty game of pool while Krystal watched from
behind the counter at the Comeback. Adam, posing as Stuart, entered.
"Stuart" told Krystal that Hannah wasn't nearly as pretty as her. Krystal
was far less welcoming to the imposter than she normally is. Adam admitted
to Krystal that he knew she didn't buy his Stuart act anymore. Adam
challenged Krystal to admit that she still loves him. She said that that
didn't matter; Tad would never allow Adam to be near Jenny. Adam begged
Krystal to say she'd come back to him. Krystal told him that she loved him
but didn't know if they could reconcile. Tad was watching when "Stuart"
swept Krystal into a passionate kiss and he realized that it was Adam.
Tuesday
After their lovemaking session, JR spontaneously popped the question to
Babe, who made it clear that no reconciliation was in the offing. When JR's
sweet-talk began to take effect, though, Babe raced to leave, realizing
that, like her mom, she is vulnerable to getting sucked back in to a
destructive relationship with a Chandler man. JR covered his hurt by
pretending that his proposal was just a joke.
Tad had a bad reaction to spying Krystal and Adam-dressed-as-Stuart in a
kiss. His anger increased as he put together that Adam had been posing as
Stuart all along, meaning that Adam had been spending time with baby Jenny —
and that Krystal had known about it. Tad made it clear that he would never
condone Adam being allowed to be anywhere near Jenny. Krystal defended her
judgement to Tad, who bolted in anger.... Babe showed up a the Comeback and
told Krystal that she slept with JR.... Tad went home and cuddled with his
baby girl.
At the police station, Jack blasted Erica, accusing her of having known when
she seduced him earlier that night that Greenlee was about to be busted for
kidnapping. Erica denied everything. Derek interrupted their squabble with
the news that Mary Smythe had signed papers to have Greenlee committed. They
then resumed their fight with intensified fervor. Erica stormed off after
telling Jack she had meant what she'd said earlier: She would always love
him. She then summoned a reporter and gave an interview designed to make
Greens look mentally unstable.
At the Slater manse, Zach demanded answers from Kendall, who admitted that
she had set Greenlee up to look guilty of attempted kidnapping. Kendall
explained what she had done and why. Zach came down on her for risking their
future with her dangerous scheme. Kendall relayed to Zach the comments
Greenlee made that had sealed Kendall's determination to eliminate Greenlee
as a threat and Zach informed her that she had misinterpreted the comments;
Greenlee wasn't after Spike, she was after the child Zach had worked to make
her believe could still be hers. As the horrible truth dawned on Kendall,
she gasped, "What have we done?"
As she visited with Aidan in her jail cell, Greenlee swore to get revenge on
Zach for stealing her embryos. Aidan broke the sad news that there are no
embryos and that JR had been paid by Zach to snow her. "I knew they hated
me," sighed Greenlee. "I just didn't know how much." Jack entered and
promised to do everything he could to help Greens but warned them that the
evidence against her was mounting.... Jack thanked Aidan for being there for
Greenlee.... Aidan interrogated Derek about the phony journal found on
Greens's computer, insisting to Derek that Kendall had set Greenlee up....
Jack and Greenlee shared a warm moment and he expressed his approval of her
romance with Aidan. When Jack left, he caught the tail end of Erica's
interview, further straining their relationship....
Still dressed as Stuart, Adam paid JR a visit. JR got a kick out of Adam's
romantic torment but admitted that he had female problems of his own.
Wednesday
At the police station, Aidan asked Jack to buy him more time to prove that
Kendall, not Greenlee, is the guilty party. Ryan, meanwhile, confronted
Greenlee about the so-called kidnapping. She swore that she was innocent had
been set up by Kendall and Zach, relaying the whole saga of Kendall's
pretend forgiveness and Zach's pretend Greens/Ryan embryos. Ryan reminded
Greenlee of all her past deviousness before storming out.... Jack warned
Aidan that Kendall had probably covered her steps very well. The men
commiserated over the stiff penalty Greenlee might be facing. Jack was
crushed to think that one of his daughters (which he considered Kendall to
be) could do something so horrible to the other. Aidan then went to see
Greens in her cell. Greens was stunned when Aidan begged her to trust him —
and plead guilty. "Okay," she said.
At the boathouse, Annie slapped Richie for tormenting her on the plane. "You
can't die soon enough for me," she hissed. As usual, Richie twisted thing
around using expert manipulation. Annie stalked off after declaring to
Richie that she was done with him. "I'm not done with you," he said to
himself, watching her retreat.
At the Slater manse, Kendall and Zach continued to reel from their botched
attempt to get Greenlee out of their lives. Kendall's conscience was eating
at her but Zach was fairly remorseless. Kendall was especially horrified
when Zach revealed that Greens had turned down the opportunity to retrieve
her embryos. Zach stopped Kendall from racing to the police station to clear
Greenlee's name. Ryan arrived in time to hear the tail end of Kendall's
confession. "What the hell did you do?" he gasped.
Thursday
Erica visited Ian and gazed lovingly upon her grandson. Opal arrived and
noted that Erica was being reticent with her about what was really going on
with the Greenlee situation. Opal advised Erica to think about how the whole
situation is affecting Jack.... An emotional Erica held Ian for the first
time, then was confronted by an angry Joe, who requested a word with her....
Jack went to see Greenlee in her jail cell and tried to dissuade Greens from
pleading guilty. She refused to budge and when he protested, she fired him
as her lawyer. Tad, meanwhile, agreed to help Aidan with his risky scheme to
help Greenlee. Aidan went to see Greens and assured her that everything
would be fine once she entered her guilty plea.
At the Slater manse, Ryan blasted Zach and Kendall for framing Greenlee.
Zach is remorseless, but Ryan pointed out that if the truth came out, Spike
would grow up with a mom in prison. Ryan was livid that if he came forward
to clear Greenlee's name, he would be forced to implicate Kendall.... Jack
called Kendall and urged her to search her conscience because Greens planned
to plead guilty. "Do the right thing," he implored.
Friday
Ryan was suspicious about why Aidan didn't go to court. Aidan said he can't
watch Greenlee give up. He stated that she has no more fight in her since
everyone she loves turned their backs on her. Though sympathetic, Ryan
countered that he's got no proof Kendall is lying.
In court, against Jack's wishes, Greenlee planned to plead guilty and told
the judge, "I give up. I give up on everything." If found guilty, Greens
would go to jail for 3 to 6 years. The prosecutor read all the charges and
listed the damming supporting evidence. Greenlee told the court of her long
history with Kendall and basically whined that Kendall is living the life
that
Greens should have. Greenlee went on a rant of how her life was destroyed
and she was willing to go to prison. "Stop!" Kendall shouted. However, Zach
pulled Kendall out of the courtroom before she could 'fess up. In the hall,
Kendall told Zach, "We can't do this." The judge called a recess.
At the hospital, Joe asked Erica to be sympathetic towards Greenlee.
Regarding Kendall's vendetta, Erica brought up that Greenlee was responsible
for injuring Spike previously and she should have to pay. Erica admitted
that Jack will be angry with her, but insisted that she needs to support
Kendall in her
time of need. Joe reminded her that keeping secrets from Jeff devastated
their marriage. Joe said it's not to late to take responsibility.
Elsewhere in the hospital, Richie picked up more meds and stated to the doc
that he's getting his affairs in order. Just then, Lily came out of the
elevator. He lied about why he was there and said he was visiting a friend.
The made plans to have coffee later and once alone, Lily was ecstatic that
she had a date and penciled it in her book. Later, at the boathouse, Richie
couldn't stand up. Babe arrived and saw him collapse.
Babe apologized to JR for turning down his proposal after they had sex,
stating that she didn't mean to hurt his feelings. JR invited her to the
upcoming movie screening. She was hesitant, as not to give him the wrong
idea. "I'm not with anyone, but I want to get on with my life," she stated.
JR said they can be friends without messing it up. Babe said getting back
together would be the worst mistake they could ever make. After she left, JR
realized Babe was right. He then called his father and said that he'd take
up Adam's offer of financing his network. Adam told him it wasn't a good
time to talk. Afterward, JR took a drink.
At the Chandler mansion, Krystal to Adam to keep his distance. He noted her
snazzy outfit and perfume, stating that she got all dolled up for an
ultimatum? Adam told Krystal they belong together and she should stop
resisting it. Aidan vowed to fight her for her. Krystal said she was
prepared for that and handed him a restraining order. Adam vowed that
wouldn't stop him.
During the break, Tad showed up at the courthouse. After the recess, Erica
and Aidan arrived in court. Just as Greenlee was about to enter her plea,
the lights started sparking and the sprinklers went on. During the ensuing
melee, Ryan noticed that a firefighter carrying a woman out was Aidan!
